Or, you may just have very different tastes. Maybe he\u2019s a metal head and you love nothing more than a nice Michael Bubl\u00e9 song. We don\u2019t know if a Michael and Motorhead mash-up would work, but if it doesn\u2019t, here are some tips on choosing your first dance song:<\/p>\n

Maybe it was playing in the first movie you went to see, the first restaurant, or a concert. Any artist or song that reminds you of a fun event like a holiday is always a good starting point.<\/p>\n

Other ideas for choosing your song could come from a song that fits the theme of you wedding. If you\u2019re having a retro wedding or maybe a summer festival style wedding, why not shape your music around this for atmosphere?<\/p>\n

Just because it\u2019s your first dance, it doesn\u2019t mean it has to be a soppy number. If you\u2019re not into slow numbers, it\u2019s perfectly fine to choose a fist-pumping tune!
