So, when I discovered that the Headfort Arms have decided to celebrate their menu of 40 years ago by reintroducing some of their classic choices, I was intrigued (I probably should have mentioned that I am equally obsessed with food).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20519\" title=\"Throwback Thursday: Vintage Menu at Headfort Arms\" src=\"https:\/\/weddingdates-wp-ie.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/2014\/02\/unnamed-29.jpg\" alt=\"Throwback Thursday: Vintage Menu at Headfort Arms\" width=\"408\" height=\"499\" srcset=\"https:\/\/weddingdates.ie\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/unnamed-29.jpg 408w, https:\/\/weddingdates.ie\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/unnamed-29-245x300.jpg 245w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 408px) 100vw, 408px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Olivia, owner at Headfort Arms, was kind enough to share with us a menu from the 1970\u2019s priced in her mother\u2019s handwriting no less! The classic menu included Egg Mayonnaise (it\u2019s not a proper vintage menu with it!), Oxtail Soup and Peach Melba to name a few.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20520\" title=\"Throwback Thursday: Vintage Menu at Headfort Arms\" src=\"https:\/\/weddingdates-wp-ie.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/2014\/02\/peach-m.jpg\" alt=\"Throwback Thursday: Vintage Menu at Headfort Arms\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/weddingdates.ie\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/peach-m.jpg 800w, https:\/\/weddingdates.ie\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/peach-m-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/weddingdates.ie\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/peach-m-750x563.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Headfort Arms are currently putting a new package together which will incorporate all of this with a romantic twist. Olivia says she feels like \u201cit tells the story of the Headfort, mentioning to us that \u2018we do so many second generation weddings, so it will be great to do the same menu that their parents had\u2026 But obviously exceeding all expectations!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The modern twist menu will include options such as Peach Melba with Oven Baked Caramelised Peaches with Homemade Praline Icecream and New Season Farm Hot Raspberry Compote.<\/p>\n<p>Yum! Is it lunchtime yet?
