These tips should help you ask the right questions before deciding which company you would like to entrust with the important transportation on your Wedding day:<\/div>\n

  1. Book your wedding cars as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, particularly if you want to book a rare or vintage wedding car as these get snapped up very quickly.<\/li>\n
  2. Decide on how many cars you may need to transport both bride and groom and the bridal party. \u00a0Consider the style of your wedding, whether you prefer the elegance of an old style car or something modern and chic.<\/li>\n
  3. Consider the time of year of the wedding. \u00a0In the summer you may want to consider a car with air conditioning and in the winter bare in mind that heating systems in old cars may be non existent!<\/li>\n
  4. Research! \u00a0The days of one guy wheeling out his cars as a weekend hobby are fast dying out. \u00a0The wedding car business is a highly regulated industry and both cars and drivers need to be licensed by the Taxi Regulator. \u00a0Get a feel for who you are dealing with. \u00a0How quickly did they respond to you enquiry, do they love their cars or is it simply a business? Get recommendations from friends if you can.<\/li>\n
  5. Remember Cheapest is not necessarily the best. \u00a0It\u2019s worth paying extra to get the car you want and the service you expect. \u00a0Compare apples with apples! You shouldn\u2019t compare the price of a Daimler to a Rolls Royce for instance. Go with your gut feeling \u2013 if it sounds too good to be true\u2026it probably is!<\/li>\n
  6. See the cars before you book. \u00a0 Cars can vary greatly in condition. \u00a0If the cars are garaged year round they are much more likely to be in good order. \u00a0 Most companies will have a website but sometimes it can be misleading as the cars may not be owned by them or they may be library pictures. \u00a0Its common practice in the industry to \u2018outsource\u2019 your booking. Get assurance that this is the car you are getting on the day.<\/li>\n
  7. Get in the cars and imagine what it will be like getting in and out in your wedding dress<\/a>! \u00a0 Can you slide in elegantly ? \u00a0Is there enough room inside so your dress doesn\u2019t get crushed? \u00a0Does it have adequate roof height?<\/li>\n
  8. Once you have made your choice, get a quotation in writing and terms and conditions of booking. \u00a0What contingency plans will the company have in the event of a breakdown? \u00a0When does a deposit need to be paid by and when will the balance be due?<\/li>\n
  9. Reconfirm with your supplier at least 1 month before. \u00a0Let your supplier know of any events that may be happening in your area i.e. sporting events, road works etc. Excessive traffic can wreak havoc on the best made plans.<\/li>\n
  10.
