Together. When we first saw Mark and Neil’s hand-fasting ceremony, this was the word that sprang to mind.<\/p>\n

Their union was filled with emotional moments, tender touches and two very proud mothers. Together, they celebrated their new journey into married life at Lough Rea Hotel & Spa<\/a>…<\/p>\n

These two lovebirds met on Mark’s 21st birthday in 2010. They had both just started working as Ryanair cabin crew – and it was love at first sight!<\/p>\n

On a cold November night, Mark picked Neil up and they drove to the estate where their new house was being built. After a seriously romantic proposal (and of course saying YES!), Neil bought Mark a matching ring and these were then engraved for their wedding day on 19th of March 2016.<\/p>\n

Aviation had a place at the heart of their traditional celebration. DIY glider planes were placed at each table during their reception – which kept the staff busy dodging planes flying around the room for the evening! While a bright and colorful palette of burnt orange and pink was fashionably incorporated into their suits and flowers.<\/p>\n

Their civil ceremony and first dance are just the most touching and powerful moments we have seen…<\/p>\n

“Our photographer Paul Duane<\/a>\u00a0was so down to earth. He gave us some great tips which really helped to settle our\u00a0nerves on the big day. He moves around so discreetly that you don\u2019t know he\u2019s even there\u00a0capturing the moments, but the results are pretty spectacular. We couldn\u2019t have asked for a\u00a0better photographer!”<\/p>\n

“We had looked around at a few different venues, but the Lough Rea Hotel & Spa<\/a> just blew us\u00a0away. It\u2019s in a beautiful part of the country & the staff were so welcoming and\u00a0accommodating. We got an amazing deal to suit our budget!\u00a0All our guests kept commenting on just how brilliant the staff were. No task was\u00a0too big or small and everything was dealt with so professionally. We were\u00a0treated like VIPs for the whole weekend.”<\/p>\n

“Walking up the aisle with each of our Mams & spotting each other for the first time was so special. We\u00a0hadn\u2019t been in contact for five days beforehand, so all our emotions came out at\u00a0the top of the room.”<\/p>\n

“If we were to do it all again, we wouldn\u2019t change one thing. The day was absolute perfection\u00a0from start to finish.\u00a0Our celebrant Bridget Carlin made a huge impression on all our\u00a0guests and us \u2013 everyone loved the ceremony, it was beautiful.”<\/p>\n
