{"id":5171,"date":"2011-12-20T14:09:49","date_gmt":"2011-12-20T13:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.weddingdates.ie\/blog\/?p=5171"},"modified":"2024-07-16T17:04:36","modified_gmt":"2024-07-16T16:04:36","slug":"herbs-roses-cupcakes-and-cocktails","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/weddingdates.ie\/blog\/herbs-roses-cupcakes-and-cocktails\/","title":{"rendered":"Herbs &amp; Roses, cupcakes and cocktails!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The perks of running a wedding website, is that\u00a0occasionally you get invited to check out the hotels (and some of their fab facilities!) \u00a0Last month I took a trip down to the Carlton Hotel in Tralee, and boy was it worth the drive from Cork!<\/p>\n<p>It was the launch of their Herbs &amp; Roses Spa and the place was packed with the glamourous ladies (and a few gents!) from Tralee. \u00a0The Rose of Tralee herself even made an appearance and posed for pics with everyone (including me!)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5177\" src=\"https:\/\/weddingdates-wp-ie.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/2011\/12\/Ciara-_-Rose-of-Tralee.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"361\" height=\"525\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When we arrived, we were greeted with cocktails and cupcakes, as well as great little goodie bags, packed with samples from the spa. \u00a0Claire (my date for the evening) was delighted with hers!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5178\" src=\"https:\/\/weddingdates-wp-ie.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/2011\/12\/Claire_goodies.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"283\" height=\"539\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We got a full tour of the spa and the therapists in each room were demonstrating the treatments and talking us through which treatments would be best for different conditions. \u00a0I particularly liked the sound of the massage suited for people who do alot of driving or work on the computer!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5179\" src=\"https:\/\/weddingdates-wp-ie.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/2011\/12\/Pedicure-Custom.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5180\" src=\"https:\/\/weddingdates-wp-ie.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/2011\/12\/Manicure-Custom.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They have also launched a <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/media.weddingdates.ie\/uploads\/Bridal_Beauty_Boot_Camp_Herbs_and_Roses.pdf\">Bridal Boot Camp<\/a><\/strong> as a new service for brides in the Tralee area, so make sure to check it out if you are looking for a boost before your big day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The perks of running a wedding website, is that\u00a0occasionally you get invited to check out the hotels (and some of their fab facilities!) \u00a0Last month I took a trip down to the Carlton Hotel in Tralee, and boy was it worth the drive from Cork!
