I have had so much fun researching for this blog with so many beautiful colours. I got lost in pastels, in golds, in citrus, in blues and navy, and in yellow and grey!<\/p>\n
Colour palettes are a great way of organizing and developing ideas on colour you may have for your wedding, and where you want it to \u201cfit\u201d in.<\/p>\n
You can use colour: When building your colour palette:<\/p>\n Begin with something that gives you inspiration \u2013 a piece of jewellery, an item of clothing, a postcard, a piece of china, a fabric, the cover of a book. \u2013 Ask yourself why do you like the colour you have in mind?<\/p>\n Get a notice board or a big piece of card. Pinterest keeps all of your ideas in one place \u2013 it is basically an online mood board. I love it!<\/p>\n As your mood board develops consider the time of year you are getting married. Will it be in the middle of the summer? Are you planning a Christmas wedding? Time of year will influence your colour palettes a lot. Check with your wedding venue. Does the existing d\u00e9cor fit in with the colour palate you have in mind? Is the ballroom decorated in reds and you are dreaming of a soft pink colour palette! No!<\/p>\n Also, ask yourself these important questions:<\/p>\n 1. This colour palette you are working on, is it really you? You will be working with this colour a lot before the wedding.
