From a Central Park proposal to a castle wedding, this couple’s big day will have dreaming of your own fairytale romance.<\/p>\n

After saying their “I Do’s” in a traditional a church ceremony, Lousie and Mark continued their celebrations at the enchanting\u00a0Bellingham Castle<\/a> in Louth. From pre-wedding routines to the sparkling send off, each moment of this sweet pair’s day took our breath away thanks to a stunning setting and the skilful eye of Daniel from DK Photo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Beginning<\/h2>\n

“Mark and I met when I was 16 and Mark was 17 \u2013 and that was 10 years ago now!\u00a0<\/span>Mark works as a lorry driver for my daddy, and I work as a Supply Lecturer in Food Technology & Nutrition at a Further Education College.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The Proposal<\/h2>\n

“We were in New York in December 2016, and after a day of exploring, we went for Pizza in the evening time in a restaurant near Central Park. It started to snow and Mark suggested we went to Central Park for a walk. Everywhere was white, and we walked to Bow Bridge in Central Park, where Mark got down on one knee in the snow and asked me to marry him.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The Attire<\/h2>\n

“I visited about 10 wedding dress shops before I found the one! My dress was from La Boda Bridal in Banbridge and I absolutely loved it \u2013 I didn\u2019t want to take it off! I always knew I wanted a ball gown and I loved the pencil pleats on the skirt. Mark\u2019s suit was Magee from Tomorrow\u2019s Menswear in Derry. He had toyed with the idea of getting a suit made for the wedding, but when we saw the Magee suit in Derry it matched so well with the bridesmaids’ colours and it was perfect.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Memorable Moments<\/h2>\n

“The most special moment was saying our vows in the church \u2013 it was so special to have all our loved ones there to witness it. Walking into our reception room before dinner was also pretty special!<\/span><\/p>\n

Mark drive\u2019s a lorry for my daddy so he loved the fact that he could bring it to the church and park it at the front of the castle later on in the day.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The Venue<\/h2>\n

“Bellingham Castle<\/a> was the first venue we visited and we were blown away by the Castle and the grounds, as well as the hospitality we received that day. We couldn\u2019t stop thinking about it for about a week after. We only visited one other venue, and after we visited it we knew Bellingham Castle was our venue!<\/span><\/p>\n

We loved the fact that we had the whole venue to ourselves and there was no one else there that day only us and our guests. We loved the d\u00e9cor and all the reception rooms. And the food!! The food was absolutely amazing!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Daniel was so easy going on our wedding day. He gave both myself and Mark extremely useful information on the morning of the wedding, which ensured the day ran smoothly. Both our families were so impressed with how discreet he was during the whole day.”<\/p>\n
