Well why can it end up being so stressful? I have a few theories!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 Lots of decisions to be made about the most important day of your life \u2013 so much pressure<br \/>\n\u2022 Financial constraints<br \/>\n\u2022 Lots of opinions from lots of people<br \/>\n\u2022 So many options and choices out there<br \/>\n\u2022 Not completely sure of what you really like<\/p>\n<p>Lets talk about alleviating the stress in your wedding planning and bringing the fun back!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Food<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are many things to consider when planning the food at your wedding:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the time of year you are getting married<\/li>\n<li>the amount of guests at your wedding<\/li>\n<li>tastes<\/li>\n<li>the budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Speak to the chef at the venue or your caterer well in advance of your wedding and go through the options; so that you will have time to think about choices, courses and tastings. Ask for advice!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Venue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Venue research is one of the first things to do once your engagement is announced. So begin by:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 Researching venues online that you have in mind (keep your budget in mind). Check availability of your favourite venues on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weddingdates.ie\/venues\/\">Wedding Dates<\/a>.<br \/>\n\u2022 Request wedding brochures and pricing via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weddingdates.ie\/venues\/\">Wedding Date&#8217;s online enquiry form<\/a>.<br \/>\n\u2022 Make appointments with the Wedding Coordinator\/Sales Manager\/Management Team for a show round.<br \/>\n\u2022 Visit the venue, meet with the relevant person and discuss:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>number of guests<\/li>\n<li>availability of dates<\/li>\n<li>obvious costs and any hidden extras<\/li>\n<li>terms and conditions of the venue<\/li>\n<li>accommodation for guests<\/li>\n<li>menu options<\/li>\n<li>timeline for booking<\/li>\n<li>payments<\/li>\n<li>meetings<\/li>\n<li>tastings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 Consider each venue carefully. Take your time. If you are not sure or have more questions to ask contact them again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The D\u00e9cor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candles, flowers, lanterns, arches, seating plans, escort cards, favors, photo booths \u2013 where do we draw the line! We hear so much about wedding trends and decor every day that it can make another decision stressful!<br \/>\nChoose a trend, style, theme or colour that you like and that is suitable for your wedding.
