outstanding each and every time we have set foot inside the hotel. Sinead, who was our main contact in relation to the wedding was always very quick to answer any questions we had and we always felt well taken care of. Aga was the main woman on the day of our wedding and without her, it would not have gone as smoothly as it did. Dimitri was also amazing, I couldn't believe it when he approached me at 3 am still offering to do anything he could for us, I was amazed. Cian was our main server at the top table he went above and beyond for us, especially when I realised that I had forgotten my speech, he printed it off for me. Stephen was our main link on day 2, he was under pressure as double our original numbers turned up but he pulled it off and kept calm at all times. each and everyone of the servers on the day of the wedding and day two deserves a special mention as they were all outstanding, our guests kept commenting about how professional the staff were and how well-trained they were.

Sinéad, the wedding team, and the hotel management were so understanding when we got the news that a family member was unwell, they were so kind and understanding when we had to think about certain modifications to be made because of this. Aga had a firm handle on everything that went on during the day, it ran so smoothly and she was able to handle any queries that cropped up throughout the afternoon. The honeymoon suite with the jacuzzi, along with a fantastic breakfast in bed the next day topped it all off. We received so many compliments on the food and service. Where to start? We knew when booking the Newpark Hotel that we would have an amazing day, we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much to ask for.

Aga, who made sure the day ran smoothly, was such a lady and a delight to deal with. She went above and beyond to create a perfect day for us, she succeeded!

Sinéad, the hotel's wedding manager, was just brilliant. Any worries leading up to our big day were quickly erased. Again this lady went to all lengths to give us an amazing day, and was always on the ball with what needed to be done. Always so lovely to deal with.

The gentleman who owns the Newpark, John Flynn, approached us on a number of occasions to congratulate us and to make sure we were happy with everything. Such a lovely man.

From the warm welcome to the personalised champagne glasses and the kind, hard working staff, we would highly recommend the Newpark as a wedding venue.

We would like to thank everyone who played a part in making our big day so special. This is an amazing family hotel with exceptional staff. We have visited this hotel on many other occasions with our three children and will continue to do so.

is very little onus on the couple to ensure everything has been thought of.
We got the opportunity to drop stuff off at the hotel the week of the wedding and everything ended up exactly where it was supposed to be on the day, from gin cart signs right down to luggage.
The hotel staff could not have been any more helpful on the day of the wedding and the timing of the drinks reception, bell ringing and dinner service were timed with absolute precision. The staff have warm personalities and add fun to the wedding celebrations.
The meal itself was absolutely delicious and our guests are still talking about it 3 weeks later, in particular the mushroom soup!
The bar staff were great fun and many people got to know them personally over the weekend. The children in our party got to avail of Jurassic Newpark which made their weekend.
We had our night 2 celebrations in the Terrace Bar which was ideal for what we wanted and the service and attention to detail was excellent yet again.
We had an absolute ball and I am so glad we chose the Newpark Hotel as our wedding venue.

Newpark were our first option and Sinead was so helpful. There was no pressure at the beginning, she gave us all the options and time to think about it before we finally agreed on the date. Once we did everything was just so easy. …

Sinead went above and beyond for us. We have 2 kids and Sinead suggested adjoining rooms so we knew they were well looked after and the kids area upstairs is amazing. On the day we wanted a little play area in the ballroom and this was done and there was no issue. It kept the kids busy during the meal and we knew they were safe. The staff on the day catered for the kids great and getting milk for the baby's bottle was never an issue.
Even the lead up to the wedding Sinead was there for any little question that we had no matter how silly it was. The staff on the day were amazing and everything ran so smoothly.
The hotel left a nice little surprise in the bridal suite which was also nice.
It's just all those small things make such a difference and the fuss about us as bride and groom on the day along with our kids was so special that we will never experience again. They really make your day your day.
I can't recommend Newpark enough.

the lead up to the day so lovely and stress free. From the first time we met Sinead and every check in between, we were reassured that we had made the best choice in venue.

The other staff with us on the day were absolutely amazing too, their attention to detail was excellent and they kept everything going seamlessly! They were so friendly and guided us throughout the entire day.

We were blown away by the service at our meal and everyone commented on how good the food was. Nothing was ever too big of an ask, even on our second night while they had another wedding to manage. You wouldn't even know they had 3 weekends in a row that week, we still felt like the only wedding couple there. They continued to go above and beyond for us throughout our entire stay (3 nights in total).

Our hotel room was also fab and we loved all the little special touches Newpark added on the day that we weren't expecting. We had some young nieces and nephews at our wedding and the staff were so accommodating and lovely with them too.

If you are looking for a fun, relaxed, warm wedding venue with fantastic staff and food, Newpark offers it all and more!

The service from all of the staff on the day was astounding, they ensured we & our guests had such a fabulous meal. main things we wanted for our wedding day was a really nice meal for our family and guests and the Newpark did not disappoint! As soon as we had our menu tasting we were blown away by the quality of the meal and the presentation was gorgeous! (My favourite was the champagne sorbet!) any guest that we spoke to after the wedding had only good things to say about the meal.

The Hotel has some beautiful spots for pictures too and this was great for us as we didn’t want to waste time on the day away from our guests travelling to another location for photos so it was ideal to be able to get our pictures taken on the grounds.

We got married on one of the hottest days of the year and when we arrived to dinner in the ballroom the air conditioning made it so that us and the guests were as comfortable as possible!

I can’t recommend the Hotel enough to any other couples planning their big day. The staff made sure we and our guests had the best days possible!

We continued our wedding celebrations in The Newpark on the next day with a BBQ and live music in The Terrace Bar. Once again the hotel outdone themselves and everything was just perfect. Obviously, things changed as the months passed during the pandemic, and while we had hoped it would have returned to normality, that wasn’t the case. Sinead & Paul did all they could to ensure we had the best day possible while adhering to the government guidelines. While we were initially worried about the smaller size wedding, it turned out to be a really fantastic day. The staff at Newpark Hotel couldn’t have been kinder, and this is something we had both commented on at previous weddings we attended there.

We also opted to have our “Day 2” at the Newpark with the BBq option. This was a lovely relaxing day, and they even allowed us to enjoy the hotel facilities before the Bbq.
We could not recommend the Newpark Hotel highly enough as a wedding venue. We look forward to returning there soon.

The Newpark Hotel saved our wedding day and made it the best day ever!!

We had booked a different hotel in Kilkenny back in 2019 (pre-Covid!) for our wedding in May 2021. Just one month before the big day in April 2021, we were advised that the hotel we had originally booked would not be open …

during the restrictions in place during May. We were absolutely distraught and left with no place to host our reception. We frantically emailed some other hotels in Kilkenny and were over the moon when the Newpark Hotel was free on our wedding date.

Our first correspondence with Sinead and the team at Newpark put us at ease. They told us not to worry. We had less than 6 weeks to plan our wedding day, but the team could not have been more helpful and easy to deal with. Sinead helped us plan out the whole day. We were able to have the most special, fun day and didn't feel stressed once dealing with the team.

The room on the day looked amazing, and the food was delicious. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful and could not do more for our guests or us. The bridal suite was also amazing.

Newpark Hotel will have a special place in our hearts forever. Massive thanks to all the staff for giving us the most amazing day :)

venue for us. The ballroom is amazing, holds a big crowd and most importantly..everything is centred around the ballroom; the smoking area, private garden that is lit up at night and toilets therefore keeping your wedding crowd together for the day. In addition the service is excellent.
Nothing is an issue with orla, from day 1 we were reassured and orla really made wedding planning alot less daunting than we had thought it would be. .orla is made for her job and is always there to answer your queries promptly.
In addition the staff in Newpark are excellent; so professional at all times.
The service we received on our big day was excellent. Our meal was fab and the whole crowd was raving about it. I would happily recommend this venue to anyone. accommodating. They couldn't do enough for us.

Many of our guests have subsequently told us that the wedding meal was excellent. We have received nothing but positive feedback regarding the food. And we really enjoyed it ourselves. So a massive thanks to the chef and all the kitchen staff.

Forgive me for not remembering some names, but the staff on the day were great. A particular thanks to Niall, who put us at ease before and during the meal and ensured that everything ran smoothly, and Mary for all her help during the meal.

A number of our guests also complemented the friendly and efficient service that they received from the girls on reception throughout the weekend. Two of our guests had to leave early on Friday night as they were heading to Dublin to catch a flight and they realised that they had forgot to print their boarding passes! One of the girls at reception then printed the passes for them which they greatly appreciated.

Finally a big thank you to Dervla and all in the office for all the help and coordination over the last few months. Planning a wedding can be stressful but you took a lot of the stress out of it.

Thanks again for everything, we would 100% recommend the Newpark as a wedding venue and we can see ourselves paying ye many more visits in the future.

We were at a wedding only last week in Kilashee House and although the grounds etc. are beautiful the service was well below what you provide

On the day we were put fully at ease by the 2 managers on duty (apologies their names escapes me) and it was plain to see that all of your banquet staff were extremely well trained, friendly, courteous and in general had a nice demeanour about them. Michelle & I were also very well looked after at the top table.

All of the food was perfect, I am told the canapés & punch at the reception was lovely (we didn’t get near them!).

The regimental way your team “attacks” the tables to ensure everyone is served together and that tables are not left waiting for vegetables etc. is very impressive.

Although I was concerned that the wine allocation per person would not be enough everyone commented on how often their glasses were filled – so that was much appreciated!

One of my work colleagues son is getting married in the Newpark and I have assured her that she has absolutely nothing to worry about and that the day will run smoothly.

I would also have no hesitation in the future in recommending the Newpark to friends for a wedding, break away or indeed a bite to eat.

Yvonne from our first meeting you set the standard of excellence which continued throughout. You were clear and focused and just knew what you were doing and never did I doubt the service we would receive.

I was so impressed with the banqueting room on the day. Your staff placed individual butterflies on each glass, the table plan was exact all guests were accomadated with care and ease, the day was completely stress free. Brides speak of weddings and the planning process as being a stressful time but this was not my experience .

All staff in the hotel from reception from waiters to bar staff and Niall on the day played a huge part in the success of our event. The food is still a talking point, my guests were so impressed with the quality and tastiness of the meal.
