Herself and the team made all our dreams come true and gave us a day that we will never forget. Adrian, the manager made the whole experience so personal and treated us like family for the whole weekend.

From the very first day we met Lisa, she was dedicated to us and our day throughout all the preparations. …

With her exceptional experience, she advised us on quality vendors, suitable timings, locations for photographs, and the most seamless way to run the day, making it most enjoyable for our guests. We trusted her completely, even though we had never met her before. We could rest easy in the days leading up to the wedding, knowing everything was taken care of.

On our wedding day, Lisa and her team were so professional that we barely noticed them as they organised the reception and meal to an outstanding standard. Lisa and Adrian supported us so much on the day that we could be part of the wedding party and not just the main event and organisers. They took the organisation into their own hands and dealt with anything that needed attention on the day.

The Abbey Hotel Roscommon is renowned for its high-quality food, and this was no different for our nearly 170 guests. The venue itself is surrounded by beautiful grounds and an old abbey ruin, which was ideal for photographs, particularly in the autumn.

In the days after the wedding, family and friends praised the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to go above and beyond to ensure everyone was enjoying themselves. We could not recommend The Abbey Hotel highly enough as a wedding venue.

The Abbey have the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness, which allowed us and our guests to relax and enjoy the day while being completely looked after every second.

Our wedding meal was outstanding, all our guests commented on how excellent the service and food was on the day. The meal was served in a timely manner, food was served hot and the dishes were simply delicious. Ciara, Edmund, Stuart, Jack are just a few names that stood out to Adrian and I who really cared for our guests and delivered excellent service behind the bar and during the meal.

From the 12th April 2021 when we first met Lisa we were delighted with our decision to pick the Abbey for our wedding reception. Our little girl was only a couple of months & she was with us. She kicked up a bit of a fuss but Lisa didn’t mind that.

was always treated with biscuits & a drink. Every staff member we dealt with throughout our time organizing were all so genuine & helpful. So easy & hassle free, anything we needed or had an issue with just an email & everything would be sorted.

The 20th May ‘23 the day of our wedding we got a lovely welcome as did all our guest with plenty of refreshments for everyone. We were lead into the function room and everything was set up to perfection for us. We had left in pictures and different bits to be set up, nothing was forgotten. The function room was set up so beautifully.

The meal was absolutely top class. Our guests are still telling us how good it was and plenty of it. The service team were excellent from start to finish. We can’t thank everyone in The Abbey enough for making one of the most important & joyous days of our lives one to always remember.

The food was incredible! All of our guests raved about the meal. The groom himself is ceoliac and the Abbey made sure that he missed out on nothing. Canepes and evening finger food was specifically prepared for him and our other guests with dietry requirements.

Everything was perfect in every way. The Abbey Hotel in Roscommon couldn't have done enough for us. The food was excellent. People are still talking about the outstanding meal 3 weeks later. The service was as good as the meal. The staff are lovely. I can without hesitation recommend this venue.

Top notch place for a wedding,food excellent and service to match,would like to thank Tom , Adrian (Grealy) for making our day extra special , also to Aishling for helping us plan everything,you can't go wrong with the Abbey.
