booking stage, wedding menu tasting and table plan assistance - Orla was there to guide us through it all. However, it was a really tough couple of days coming up to our big day as the decision was changing by the hour as to whether the wedding could go ahead due to Covid-19 but full marks to Orla and Michael, they kept our family calm and relaxed while reassuring us that the team at The Annebrook would be doing everything in their power to ensure we could have our special day. On the day itself, every little detail was carried out with perfection. Even with the restrictions, each and every member of staff put everyone at ease and took such good care of us and our guests. We really feel Orla and Michael are nearly part of our family at this stage after all we went through together while keeping us, our guests and your staff safe with guidelines in place to the highest standard during our wedding weekend. We'll both be forever grateful for all the hard work, dedication and attention to detail from each and every member of The Annebrook House Hotel team. It was planned to a tee, out daughter sang a song, we had readings, our own vows, you name it. It was perfect. So emotional. Thank you. I have to stay as a bride I wasn't stressed, Orla was amazing. We had a few hiccups ourselves and she sorted the issues for us straight away, j mean I just can't recommend her enough. Really really dedicated to her job in making the client happy. If anyone is stuck and doesn't know how to get an idea out there (even when your words are all jumbled up and don't even know if you're speaking English anymore) Ciara is your woman. She is one gifted and talented woman. Much respect.
Secondly, to the staff. From the chefs, who took the time to assure that my mom (severe SEVERE coeliac) got well and truly looked after when it came to the food. You will never know how truly grateful we are for that alone. And of course, to the chefs who created absolutely AMAZING food that every single guest raved on about. To the serving staff, who made sure that everyone had a full glass and an even fuller belly. They were phenomenal. Thanks to each and every one of ye.
To the bar staff, ye done a fantastic job at attending to everyone and being so friendly, we enjoyed your company as much as we hope ye enjoyed ours.
To Michael, you have done such a fantastic job. You made the whole day run so smoothly and the fact you solely looked after my mom, was just out of this world. We are ever in your gratitude for everything you did. You are a great and devoted leader. Admirable.

From the day we went to the wedding event evening and booked our wedding with Ciara in The Annebrook House Hotel they have been nothing but amazing helping us to create the kind of day we wished for. which was decorated so elegantly with white chair covers and white sashes and beautiful complementary flowers which blended with our colour scheme. We had 70 guests which filled the room perfectly. After the ceremony, we all went down to the old House Bar for complimentary refreshments for our guests of tea Coffee and petite fors . We had the resident pianist play which created a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. For our meal, we all headed to The old house Restaurant which we loved. Marie and her staff looked after us with the finest of food and the best service. Our guests had a choice from a menu of 4 starters 4 mains and 4 desserts which also included wine. The food was just top notch with everyone raving about it. This really made our day. In fact we had been a guest here at a wedding 2 years prior and the meal was so good it had a huge part in our decision to book the Annebrook for our wedding. We were not disappointed. For our evening entertainment, we went back to the old house bar where we had 2 large rooms. One was where we had our band where we partied and the other was a beautiful elegant lounge where people could sit relax and catch up with ease. We had evening food which was very tasty and plentiful. Michael looked after all our needs and was on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly. All in all our day was made very special by all the staff. The Venue itself is a Gem in the heart of Mullingar with luxury accommodation for your guests and a service 2nd to none. Bertie out shoveling snow clearing the gateway for our guests, Hugh our new celebrant who made his way to us in a tractor. inimitable Ciara Slammon and her team of miracle-workers and magic-makers made us feel like we were the only couple getting married in their hotel in 2017. It's the quality of the one-on-one and that personal service, despite being an incredibly busy wedding venue, that made up our minds on the matter. Ciara was available to us at a moment's notice and no problem was too trivial for her attention or too insurmountable for her talents. As to the day itself, everything passed off without a hitch (aside from us getting hitched of course). The food for which this hotel is reknowned was, according to many of our guests, the best wedding fare they had ever tasted, the decor was sumptuous and the staff were exemplary in their congeniality and their attention to detail. Michael's contribution was especially note-worthy providing maitre d' services on the night. Probably the greatest recommendation we can give to Ciara and her team at the Annebrook is the sheer number of people who have come up to us since the big day to tell us that it was the most enjoyable wedding they had ever attended. Ordinarily I would just put this down to good manners but some of these people are damn hard to please......I won't say whose side they were on.......it was her side.......only joking. ;) So a massive thank you to Ciara and all the guys and gals at the Annebrook House Hotel for making the day that extra bit special for us both, it will live long in the memories of all who were present.

Micheal was a gentleman from our first encounter and his professionalism was remarkable.. ciara our wedding co-ordinator was out-standing. When we thought the flower from my flower girls dress was left in Dublin, she came back to my room not long after with a flower from claires to see would it work. treated like v.i.p.s,it took a lot of stress off knowing that even at that early stage that the professionalism of the Annebrook and its staff was showing through.
On the Day and night in particular they catered to every whim and need without missing a step,we were surprised with a floor display of dried ice and all our guests were attended to with great attention over the entire function.
At one point one of our guests had a migraine and the concierge immediately went to task to send somebody for painkillers for them,this again showing the professionalism of the Annebrook and how much attention was paid to make our experience as memorable as possible for the right reasons.

The room was also top quality,spacious clean and comfortable with every amenity provided,champagne supplied and breakfast the next morning that in itself was worth getting married for :).

I have and will continue to recommend the Annebrook to everyone as not a single complaint or grievance was had from any of our guests,nothing but smiles and good memories.

This really is a beautiful part to the hotel and really makes the day. Everyone was commenting how beautiful it is for photos. Then we headed to the function room for the meal. The chefs at the annebrook are some of the best in the country if not the world. Not a bad word could be said about all the dishes that were prepared and brought out to all of our 210 guests. The portions are brilliant and everyone was stuffed. Nobody was left waiting on food or drink and 2nd portions wasn't a problem if they wanted more. The bar staff didn't keep anyone waiting for drinks. The accommodation is very reasonable for your guests and they have apartments for familys or if friends want to share to make it even cheaper. So if your looking for a professional hotel that is very very reasonable for the package that you get its the only venue to pick. From start to finish the Annebrook were the utmost professionals without being stuffy about it. We were giving them our business but they were so friendly. A lot of places took it for granted that you were getting married and would be unbelievably rude. We were so glad when we met the staff at the Annebrook, it was like a breath of fresh air. Even on the tasting night we had a laugh with the staff in the restaurant because we had never done a proper wine tasting before.
On the day Amy helped the girls dry their dresses, made sure their bags were somewhere safe and helped with general wardrobe malfunctions. Michael helped keep our guests moving without feeling rushed so we got to spend a decent amount of time with them all. He also helped us to get around to all of the guests between courses which really helped us to relax a bit more after the meal.

I couldn't recommend Annebrook House enough. Planning, support, professionalisim, ideas and flexibility, all top marks. So helpful in every aspect. The staff and venue would make any wedding there memorable, magical and hassle free.

From the moment we chose Anne brook House for our wedding, we were blown away by how helpful and supportive Ciara and all the staff were.
Nothing was too much trouble, everything down to the smallest detail looked after.
The food in the Annebrook is fabulous, we had eaten there a few times before …

and had no worries about it for the wedding at all. Family and friends have commented on how good the food is.
The function room itself is tastefully decorated and is quite large.
We chose Anne brook because we felt we were both getting what we wanted; I was getting a beautiful old Manor house and my partner loved the fact that there was lots of rooms and apartments for family and friends to stay in. Also the fact that it's in the town was great for guests to have a wander if they were staying more than one night.
But what makes it stand out is definitely the staff. Very friendly and helpful. I have been to weddings in places where the food is practically thrown in front of you and believe me, guests remember that!
All in all, a great place and I would highly recommend it to any potential bride and grooms out there!

Not only are the staff amazing but the hotel is gorgeous for photos in any weather. The gazebo is lovely, the door to the old house and even the old stairs. We managed to get some gorgeous night time photos at the door to the old house.
Also the residents bar is lovely too it has a great feel to it.
The hotel is big enough that your guests will fit but not to big that they get spread out and you lose the atmosphere.
Another thing to show how great the staff is my in-laws planned a surprise star wars theme on the entrance to the dinner and the staff helped organise it even helping some of the guests changing in to their costumes!
I could literally talk all day about how amazing this hotel is but you really need to go to the hotel and feel the welcome and the atmosphere as soon as you walk through the doors. This will put any bride or grooms mind to rest.
It really is the perfect wedding venue and deserves this award without a shadow of a doubt!

Niamh and I had a lot of individual aspects of both of our personalities that we wanted to incorporate into the Wedding reception (love of Gaelic games, rustic themed, cater for kids, love of food, etc) and the Annebrook didn't let us down on any of these.

Throughout the whole process, Ciara was a pleasure to deal with and she went above and beyond to accommodate us.

On the day, the staff had the tough job of keeping both brides apart but they managed it with great style. The room for our marriage ceremony was decorated to perfection. Our wedding reception was made even more special with beautiful music organised by Ciara. The sweet piano music was the perfect background for our guests. With a lot of effort, our ceremony room was transformed beyond compare for our evening meal, to sit our 200 guests. The meal was absolutely delicious and our guests were delighted with the quality of the food served. With that, the perfect end to a perfect day arrived with the band, followed by the DJ. The size of the ballroom was perfect for the amount of guests we had and the dance floor is ideally located away from all dinner tables so everyone had loads of space to dance all night or relax and chat at their own table.

For any perspective brides or grooms, we would highly recommend the Annebrook House Hotel for their excellent quality customer service, suites and food. They will go all out for you and ensure that on the day, you are their number one priority. If we could, we would do it all over again in the Annebrook.

shouldn't forget, possible celebrants and bands. This was invaluable to us. On the night of our menu tasting we had so much fun with everyone in the restaurant!
On the day Amy, Michael and the team were fantastic. They helped us dry dresses before the ceremony, organised our bridal party with handling gifts, helped us to get around to all of the guests and make sure we had some time to ourselves. These people are professionals and it really showed on the day.
We had a vintage theme which the Annebrook was perfect for. We have some beautiful photos from the Old House and the centre pieces were simple elegance. Even the knife we cut the cake with matched the theme.
Every single guest came up to us after to compliment the food. The best part was the whole day was GLUTEN FREE! I'm a coeliac and I can't even begin to describe how good it felt to eat in comfort. Better yet that it wasn't a trouble to the chef's to organise this. They went above and beyond! We chose to have a barbecue the day after the wedding to see our guests off. We highly recommend this if you can as, again, the food was wonderful.
Another little thing was when we returned to the hotel for lunch a month after the wedding staff recognised us. It's a small thing but even after the big day it made us feel special. If we had it again we would definitely choose the Annebrook. From start to finish you won't regret it.

The food was superb, we had a family getogether meal In the Old House Restaurant the night before, where the lovely Marie looked after us.
Very high standard in cleanliness, food, special dietary requirements, again attention to detail, personalised service and understanding of circumstances , ease of parking, wonderful apartment accommodation for my guests who had travelled from abroad. Had a glitch with my band but Michael took over immediately to solve the issue( which had nothing to do with the hotel , agent sent band to wrong hotel !)

Nothing is too much trouble. Deirdre was our wedding planner and paid great attention to detail and we felt so comfortable with her straight away. She completely got our vision of what we wanted on our day and was cool, calm and collected and really cared we had the best day ever. Especially as we live in the UK so much of our correspondence was over email!

Everything was seamless from the planning side and layout/set up of the room ( thank you Amy as well!) to the prompt delivery and service with our wedding meal. Michael and his team did an outstanding job. The food was excellent quality and all our guests remarked on how friendly, warm and professional the staff were as well as the most gorgeous food!

The old house is just beautiful for wedding photos and location was just great for guests travelling from the UK who were really impressed.

Rooms were spotless and so comfortable, and reception staff really helpful and caring.

Would recommend Annebrook to anyone, the care and experience of feeling looked after really shines through as well as care and attention from staff who go the extra mile to make sure you are happy and looked after. dealt mainly with their wedding co-ordinator Niamh who from day one took 90% of the stress an worry from us, their packages are fantastic and gives every bride and groom so many options. Also the little touches they added themselves to our day was amazing and we are so thankful to all who made our day so special. We have received so many compliments over the past few weeks from our guests about the ceremony been in the hotel, how friendly and helpful all the staff we're, the food been delivered to the tables with no delay, the quality and quantity of the food they received been fantastic. We personally would do it all over again with no changes to anything it was the perfect day for us an our guests. The Annebrook House Hotel accommodated everything we wanted or needed, some of our guests who have disabilities we're looked after extremely well and accessibility was not a concern, our son was brought to and from where he needed to be before and after the ceremony and even the groom arriving in a truck was accommodated without question, which Niamh gracefully directed into the hotel that morning.
We would like to thank all staff in the hotel for everything they done for us leading up to an the day of the wedding, especially Niamh who seconds before was fluffing my dress and making me fell special, our wedding day went smoothly for us because you took on all the work and stress and made it happen, thank you all so much. hotel not even 10 years old – this is the venue for you!
I cannot begin to describe this hotel, perfect in every way; traditional and modern combine flawlessly here - plus your guest are getting an amazing venue in the heart of the town (perfect for families as central location beside the town park and literally in town means something for everyone!) Our guests raved about it everything went perfectly, the staff of the hotel are more of a family making sure everything runs without a hitch. Niamh the wedding co-ordinator is easy going and if problems arise (which are few and far between) they are handled with a minimum of fuss and no stress which is what everyone strives for when arranging such an important day!
If I had to pick one thing about this venue that sets it apart it’s the staff, the setting is beautiful but staff are superb. Our civil ceremony for approx 120 people (July 2015) was beautiful, Niamh recommended a solemniser to perform the service which meant we could have the ceremony we wanted reflecting our personalities instead of the restrictive religious do or the slightly impersonal HSE option which disallows Saturday ceremonies… the room was amazing, elegant and beautifully laid out, service over - guests enjoyed an ice cream cart and then downstairs to the old house for canapés and refreshments while we dealt with the photographs. Meanwhile the venue for the reception is smoothly flipped from ceremony to reception in no time at all transforming the room completely.
Guests chill out in the luxury of the old house mingling and catching up before being called to dinner. Food was amazing, relaxed and immaculately presented, theatrics continued into the evening (we won’t spoil the surprise!) Michael and the staff continued to orchestrate the evening with military precision whilst retaining a relaxed fun atmosphere for all the guests. I cannot stress how much fun we had on the day itself beautiful touches everywhere abounded little things make such a difference and then we literally danced the night away with the fabulous “Funky Functions DJ’s” who kept the dance floor hopping into the wee small hours!
Breakfast the next day was gorgeous and we had a bbq on the Sunday again brilliant fun laid back and fabulous food in the old house and terrace (catering staff are exceptional)… All in all if you’re still searching for the perfect venue I urge you to put this one top of your list, you will not find a better venue anywhere at the very least its worth dropping in to view this hotel just to take a peak at the bridal suite! (I kid you not have a look at that bathroom! we took bridal pics in the bath! LOL)

Firstly, we viewed a number of hotels trying to find a place that would suit our needs & had no intention of picking a hotel in the middle …

of a town. From the minute we walked through the doors of the Annebrook they couldn't do enough to help us! They allowed us to choose our own mains which were not in their packages and it was a beautiful meal.
The staff were so accommodating, especially Niamh, who did everything to make sure the day went off without a hitch. She was always smiling and also offered us great advice to help us through the day. Michael, the manager, was also fantastic. All of our guests commented on how well they were treated by everybody who worked at the hotel.
The accommodation at the hotel was brilliant and the apartments were such a bonus allowing all of our friends and family to stay together.
The old house, where the welcome reception took place and the main reception room looked fantastic & so inviting as did the grounds of the hotel. For a hotel smack bang in the middle of a town it had plenty of space around it and the garden area was beautiful for photographs.
We stayed at the hotel for 2 days and didn't want to leave. On the morning of our departure the hotel was a hive of activity and the atmosphere was fantastic. Michael was there to see us off.
We can't recommend the Annebrook hotel enough. It is a lovely hotel with fantastic staff in a great central location.

We cannoy say enough about the Annebrook as the perfect wedding venue. We visited this hotel midweek and were met by Michael who took the time to show us every aspect of the hotel, the large wedding suite, the old house for reception drinks, the restaurant for smaller weddings, the bridal suites, …

the accommodation for guests, the outdoor space for after parties - trust me - there was a lot to see. Michael introduced us to Niamh, the event planner and they're combined enthusiasm and experience convinced us this was the perfect venue for us. From day one, all our queries, suggestions, changes and worries were handled quickly and professionally.

In the days leading up to the wedding Niamh ensured she had spoken to everyone involved in the wedding, photographer, ceremony official , florist and cake company to name a few, we, the bride and groom, never got a single call from any supplier looking for information - a huge weight off our shoulders - we literally had to just show up!!

The day itself was seamless, the ceremony room was laid out beautifully. The canapés at the drinks reception were delicious . The room for the main event was absolutely beautifully decorated, bright, elegant and well laid out, we could see all of our guests from our table.

The food was superb and plenty of it!

Every single guest at the wedding commented on the same few things: how amazing the staff, food, accommodation and the atmosphere was. I have never being in any other establishment that had such good staff and they bent over backwards for anything we asked or needed done and the same for all guests at the wedding.
The wedding itself went off without any issues thanks to the amazing wedding coordinator Niamh, she was honest about any ideas we had and was all about making our day perfect for us. They were very helpful to the vendors we had also.
The food at the hotel the night before, the wedding and the breakfast were 5 star worthy especially the Turkey and ham I would really recommend it!
All I can say is this hotel has ruined all other hotels for me as we were to another well known hotel for a few nights after the wedding and we were so disappointed as the rooms and staff were no where near the high standard of the Annebrook.

I have recommened this hotel to all my friends that are at the age of getting married and to all my family for family events.
I know every time I visit family in Mullingar now I will be staying in the Annebrook.

Niamh is extremely personable and manages to read between the lines with an efficiency that is rare. No job was out of bounds. We couldn't rate the job Niamh did highly enough.

It was the all the staff, from Bertie to Michael, who made our day what it was. Always friendly, always making you feel that you, your partner and your wedding are ultra-important. For example; the quality and choice of food was a big deal for us. Knowing this the restaurant staff helped us in bespoking both our main meal, reception food and evening bites with no fuss. There were a number of tastings and we never once felt like we were pushing it. And the food was amazing. Complimented by everyone we have since spoken to, it was exceptional. Hats off to the Chef and his team.

The apartments and rooms that the Annebrook also provide are perfect for families/grandparents and the like. In essence, the hotel seems built for weddings, the layout suits every part of the day.

We have to point to the extra mile the hotel went in having the function room/old house decorated for our wedding day. We had quite a lot of extras brought in, and there was no question that everything would be set-up just so, again, with Niamh reading between the lines.

Did I mention the food?

We would recommend the Annebrook to anyone thinking about where they are going to have their big day. It is a big decision for sure and we can safely say when you consider the incredible value for money and quality the hotel provide you will not regret it. Go for it.

me feel like it was a special day and that I mattered, making the whole experience special and magical for us. Every single one of the staff went above and beyond in terms of service from the food tasting to wine tasting. We were treated like royalty from day one and no question I posed was ever treated with anything less than a sense of urgency. Niamh our coordinator got back to me at every minute I contacted her, be it at the weekend or in the evening. On the evening before our wedding we had a New Years Eve party with family and friends. I felt like was another big day for us and our whole family was treated so well, we were given a private area, complimentary food and class A hospitality. On the day itself from first thing in the morning I felt like everything was on hand, I was treated to champagne, rooms were catered for, Niamh and Bertie the owner went above and beyond to ensure I didn't get wet getting to the reception. My bridal party and I were treated so well at every second during the day. The meal was fabulous clean plates all around and the special bits they added in for us were second to none. I can honestly say I have never experienced service and lovely people like this before, nothing was too big nothing was too small, I would highly recommend the hotel and more importantly the staff. If you want a special day and to not have to worry about anything then this is your venue. A class A hotel and Class A staff.

could even sit down and relax with a beverage before entering for the meal. (Really appreciated not having to worry about anything). The staff were so attentive to every person there and the amount of compliments we got for choosing the Annebrook is such a good reflection on the Hotel and staff. I had to organise our wedding from Australia and honestly thought it was going to be a nightmare but both Adele and Niamh made the process so easy and were so friendly I would regard them both as friends now.
Honestly words cannot give justice to the hotel and the staff, we are truly grateful to the staff and beautiful hotel for making our wedding day the best and most relaxed day's of our lives.

and staff had to set up and cater for and yet in the lead up to our wedding and the big day itself, I can honestly say, we where made to feel like the only couple to ever get married! The wedding co-ordinators, Adele and Niamh, kept in regular contact and where always on hand to answer any of our questions. No task was too big for the ladies and we can't thank them enough for helping to ease the stress of organising a wedding.
I'd like to say we where treated like royalty from the moment we got out of the car but really we where treated like royalty from the day we booked our wedding right up until we checked out 3 days later!! The Old House and the function room, where the reception was held, is fabulous, the decor is fresh yet traditional, and the lighting creates a beautiful atmosphere! The hotel's attention to the detail is unbelievable and our top table arrangement and other decorative details in the room tied in perfectly with our theme!

Michael looked after ourselves and our guests from the meal until after the band finished up. He managed to keep everything running smoothly and on time, looking after all aspects of the meal and evening reception and all in the most friendly and helpful manner! Again we can't thank him enough for making our wedding so special!

The food was delicious, how they served each meal to such perfection to a large crowd, is beyond me, but they did just that! Our guests are still raving about the food! Infact our guests just loved the hotel in general! All of the staff where welcoming, friendly and efficient. The wedding co-ordinators, waiting staff, bar staff, receptionists and kitchen staff could not do enough for not only us but all of our guests and not just on the day of our wedding but the following days too! The friendliness of the staff, the great food, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel has been commented on by all of our guests and I'm sure the Annebrook House Hotel will have many repeat visits from our family and friends!

As for the day itself, we had very high expectations but Adele, Michael and their fabulous staff far exceeded those expectations. They made it all seem so easy. Nothing was a problem to them. During our meetings and preparation leading up to and including our big day, Adele could not have been more helpful, anything we asked for they made sure we had and better, Adele was also very helpful in relation to things we might not have though off and she had great ideas to make our day more enjoyable.
On the big day its self all our worries melted away from the minute we arrived Adele and staff had everything in hand they were very attentive with us and our guests, The atmosphere in the hotel on the day was brilliant. It is cosy, inviting and relaxed just what we were hoping for.

The food was exceptional, all tables served promptly by friendly staff. Everyone was offered a second helping our guests were delighted and thoroughly enjoyed the food. in close proximity. It was important for us to have an area that wasn't just a bar.

The menu choices were extensive, relative to budget. We choose the beef and our families are still raving about the second and third rounds of beef offered from the kitchen.

The front of the Old House is a nice opportunity for photos with friends and family without going far from your guests. This cosy intimate feeling that you are not far from your guests is great on this one day in your life when the most important people are in one place. When 'venue shopping' for our wedding we had a venue boasting that they could cater for up to 3 weddings on 1 day so when we got to the Annebrook their staff's personal touch made us sure it was suited for us. Jodie made us feel like nothing was a problem, we had a couple of requests to suit us and they went out of their way to help us make it happen although they we not obliged to. We brought in our own champagne for the toasts rather than the traditional round of drinks for guests, Bertie (owner) lead his team of staff in ceremony to serve the champagne in practiced sequence giving us a bit of a show. They went above and beyond in everything they did for us.

Where do I start?? Well first of all I dont know if I would even be married now if it wasnt for the Annebook House Hotel. They helped us out with every little detail from our flower arrangements to the ribbon on our cake! No problem was too big for the Annebrook. The food was just sooooooo amazing, …

and not one person had one bad word to say!!! We had chicken curry and rice for all our guests at the after party and yet again it was devine!!! And as for the desserts, well they were only yummy!! (Psssssst........ the wine didnt go down too bad either... hehe!!!). We had an amazing day and an amazing night. The Annebrook House Hotel had the patience of a saint to put up with me and my worrying head and all my little demands. Yesterday I was routing through some stuff and found a newspaper from the date we were married with a little note from the hotel sending their congratulations to us. It was a small thought but it meant the world to us, we loved it!! As for the Bridal Suite, it was heaven, i didnt want to leave!! And it wasnt to bad on the pocket either...! We had an amazing day that we shared with our family, friends and the Annebrook House Hotel and we wouldnt have it any other way. We will treasure that day forever and its all thanks to the Annebrook House Hotel! Id do it all over again!!

Not knowing many people in Ireland I booked the hotel off the back of some great trip adviser reviews and a really good visit with the wedding co-coordinator.
I made a fantastic choice and everything was amazing. I never felt that anything I asked for was too much trouble.

majority of whom stayed and I didn't hear one complaint. The rooms were lovely and represented great value.
We hired a minibus to get our guests who had flown in from the airport to the hotel and back.
The wedding band recommended were really fun and the food faultless.
We returned recently for a stay in the honeymoon suite and had another fantastic stay.

Excellent venue, beautifully modern and private on the day separate to other guests in the hotel. VIP attention to detail, food 5 star. Great packages organised for our guests whom had travelled and stayed for a couple of nights also excellent value for money for them.

He even gave us little tips on how our guests could save a little money by booking a 2 bed apartment with another couple for the wedding. Even though it was actually our first venue to look at, we went ahead and booked it straight away. Even when there was a change of Wedding Planner half way through the process, there was a great communication between the two Wedding Planners which meant zero stress and hassle for us! My wife loves to change her mind and add her own ideas, be it with certain flowers at certain tables or a mixture of seat covers at select tables, Adele and the team were always on the end of the phone or an email with no delay at all. On the day of the wedding the entire staff at the Annebrooke couldn't do enough for us, they all introduced themselves to us as the day went on and explained what their roll was in the day and if one was going on break or finishing their shift, they would introduce the next person to take over from them. Since the Wedding we have had nothing but great reviews from all our guests about the hotel and the food, hospitality and the craic! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that's getting married, you won't be disappointed!

Michael, thank you for your attention to detail smooth dinner service and surprise treat for the guests. All of our guests at some stage over the weekend complimented us on the food, hotel staff, and overall atmosphere that the hotel provided, and they are still talking about the wedding. The Big Kahuna Party Band was the icing on the cake so to speak they brought the party alive after we had filled ourselves with the fab 5 course meal...beef daube....mmm. And then we continued the celebrations on Saturday where we continued to receive the 5* treatment. big day! Great communication on her part throughout the whole process. Even when I sent late night emails I was guaranteed to have a reply first thing in the morning once she got to the office.
On the day of the wedding the service we received was second to none. The canapés and sparkling wine reception in the Old House went down a treat with our wedding guests. As did the 5 course meal later in the evening where their Duck Leg Starter stole the show.
Food throughout the day was of a very high standard, full of flavour and plentiful.
Berty, Michael (Evening Manager) and their team provided a 5* Service also. They helped create a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It was lovely to hear the friendly banter between our guests and the Hotel staff during the Meal and throughout the night.
We really couldn't recommend the Annebrook highly enough as a wedding venue!!!!

The moment we booked it, in the June previous, the banqueting staff couldn't be more helpful. We live in Dubai so we basically organised a wedding through e-mails!
The banqueting correspondence, I could not fault! Any questions be it minor were answered quickly. I think I only visited the hotel once before the wedding. From the very start all my asks were met, from table centrepieces to food and drinks and other bits and bobs that are all important to make the day special. I have to say that I never worried once about the day, even though I only had images in my mind on how everything would look. The only worry I had was that I was so calm, I didn't think I was doing enough or had forgotten something. The annebrook made it too easy for me!

We had a civil ceremony in the same room as the reception, how anyone can transform a room so quickly, from church setting to meal setting, amazes me still!

The food was fantastic, all my guests enjoyed! I can't thank the staff of the Annebrook enough, every single person working there made our day! We were home in Ireland for the summer and there's still people complimenting us on our day, makes me feel great, and as a bride, obviously if you enjoyed the day its great but its important your guests feel the same!
Best of luck Annebrook you deserve this! My only regret is, that I can't do my wedding day again!!!

We had our wedding at Annebrook House in February of this year – it seems a lifetime ago but it’s a day we’ll never ever forget! We had a particular type of venue in mind and having viewed a couple before going to Annebrook, none made us feel as at home and welcome as it and it’s staff did. …

From the minute we stepped inside the service was great, even through changes in staff members, the continuity of service remained the same. We live in the UK so at times it was challenging trying to arrange things over the phone/email but we were assured at every hands turn that they would look after us and look after us they did. We arrived two days before the wedding and they took over from there and we were totally able to relax and enjoy the weekend with our friends and family. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Our mad family and friends descended on the hotel for the weekend and every one of them had a great time and had great things to say about the staff throughout the hotel. Adele & Martha were great, talking me down off many a ledge in the run up and on the day, we’d have been lost without Michael, not forgetting Bertie, of course. Oh and certainly not a “by the way”, but the chef Paul, is fantastic!! The food was delicious and not at all what we all know as typical “wedding food”! We struggled to actually settle on a menu because ALL of the food was divine……we almost had a 7 course menu……almost! Whether you’re getting married or not, do yourselves a favour and get in and have a meal in the restaurant, you’ll love it!!
I could go on and on til’ the cows come home saying how great they all were to us, how nice the hotel in general was etc., I think I’ve made my point. If you’re thinking of getting married, go and meet with the team. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, to have peace of mind with your venue is a major stress relief. Annebrook House figuring that it was a shot in the dark to get much information late on a Sunday evening. The receptionist explained that the wedding team were not available but she would get Michael the event manager to show us around. Right from the first minute we knew that we were in good hands he could not do enough to show us what was possible. A couple of days later we had our first appointment with Adel from the wedding team. The hotel had a special winter deal which caught our eye but we did not have the numbers to qualify for the package. With approval from Bertie it was agreed that we could avail of the package with the smaller numbers. The full team worked so hard to deliver a superb day for our special day. Every request we made was met all details were checked to ensure that what we wanted would be delivered. Every minute detail was checked numerous times right up to the last minute. The day soon arrived and our numbers had grown to exceed the minimum number for the package. (a smart move on Berties behalf if he stuck to the numbers we might have gone elsewhere) We had our ceremony and reception in the hotel and this was the best decision we made it was so simple to keep it all at the one venue. The venue on the day was superb the meal was scrumptious and every one of our guests were bowled over by the meal, the service and the friendliness of the staff. Our guests were amazed that we managed to arrange a superb spread in such a short time others spend years we spent a few short months and got the best result possible. We were so pleased that we chose the Annebrook for our special day. There is no better venue or team to deliver your dream wedding.

Our guests still talk about the wonderful staff, superb food and great music. Bertie and all the staff are Iike one big family with "Your Big Day" their priority. Rest of the hotel staff were also exceptional! Reception desk, restaurant, bar, old house, banqueting- every single person in all of those areas were kind respectful and catered to our every need. A pleasure to deal with.
The hotel itself - I had the best of both worlds, I had the beautiful and personal Georgian house for my drinks reception and for our get together the next day too with it's own private bar. We had a beautiful tastefully decorated function room in neutral colours so it can be decorated any way you wish to go with your theme if you have one. We had beautiful birdcages with tea lights as our centrepieces they were commented on by many people as something different! Accomodation is modern spacious and beautifully decorated and the apartments are to the same standard as the hotel rooms! Absolutely fabulous, and the rooms and apartments are super value so your not putting huge expense on your guests. Overall absolutely everything and I mean everything was exceptional! When the day arrived and we saw the room I was so overwhelmed! few other places around Ireland. We saw a number of potential venues. We were looking for somewhere that was homely, with good food and service, beautiful surroundings and a cost effective package. At the time Niamh was the one person that always made us feel at home and she went out of her way to help us decide to go with the Annebrook!

Our day was incredible. The staff were so friendly and warm. Our guests seriously didn't even notice them, they were so discreet and did a wonderful job at keeping everyone happy! The food was so delicious, the quality was top notch!

Although we were not stressing about the day, the atmosphere on the day was so peaceful you'd be surprised to know that there was a wedding on!

The surroundings are quite serene as there is a park just across the hotel. The Old House which is connected to the main hotel is stunning, with its library room type of lounge area. We had a pianist playing during the reception drinks (in the Old House) as well, which was a nice touch!

All our guests gave positive feedback about the venue, the staff and most importantly the food! As well as the accommodation being very reasonably priced.

There is so much we could say about this hidden gem in Mullingar. It must be seen, to be appreciated! We would encourage every couple who's looking for a venue that is truly special, with staff that genuinely care about the little things, contact the Annebrook and ask for Niamh.

Our entire event was held in the Old House from the ceremony in the lovely bright Barlow Room, which comfortably accommodated our guests and our vocalist, to the reception meal which we opted to have in the Old House restaurant, and our dancing in the Old House Bar.
I stayed in the Bridal Suite the night the night before the wedding, this is only down the corridor from the Barlow room, the Bridal Suite is fabulous, with a huge en-suite bathroom and the biggest jacuzzi bath I've ever seen.
Throughout the day both Adele and Michael were on hand to assist in the smooth running of the wedding or to fill our glasses!! Our after party went on to the wee small hours, our DJ and dancing seeming to go on forever, yet at no time were we made to feel like it should end.
The hotel surrounds are modern yet the Old House has a cosy atmosphere that you just relaxes you. The restaurant food is looked after by Head Chef Paul Phillips, the choice and quality of the menu is second to none.
The mix of hotel rooms and self catering apartments makes the hotel suitable to couples, families and groups of friends. A babysitting service is also available on request.

To summarize The Annebrook House Hotel in my experience is one of the finest wedding venues in the country, while not being a lavish country estate that has become so popular in recent years, the Old House has a charm all of its own, the staff are friendly, relaxed, unobtrusive and above all very professional. The food under the supervision of Paul Phillips is of the highest standard and to be quite honest I will be pushed to find anywhere in Mullingar or its surrounds to beat its high standard.

Right up until the end of the night your staff where their insuring we were well looked after. I remember leaving the reception room at about 1:30am and Jeff was still there asking if I needed anything.

I am looking forward to returning there for a weekend break soon, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for your wedding, you feel like they actually care about you and your big day, instead of how most big hotels can treat it! We took our wedding photos nearby at the beautiful Belvedere House and Gardens, but if you wanted them at the hotel, the grounds are nice with a gazebo and flowers outside, but whats even better in the little man-made pond and bridge opposite the hotel in the public park, with a beautiful willow tree over it! I am writing this review 2 years later and I still can't sing the hotels praises enough! Just go, get a tour, do a menu tasting, and if that doesn't convince you, their rock bottom prices PP should!

Had our wedding here in aug 12, the food, service and the attention we got from Berty & Tia was excellent! Would recommend it to anyone!

staff in the Annebrook could not do enough for us and our guests. The food that was served was amazing and everybody commented on how lovely the food was and how excellent the service was. The little touches the Annebrook provide such as the dry ice and the names on the desserts at the top table really add towards the day. They looked after everything we needed all day and it meant we could just relax and enjoy ourselves, in particular Tia and Michael made sure that there was nothing we needed and that everything just went smoothly. I really cannot rate the Annebrook highly enough.

no request was too big. Bertie, Tia and Jeff are wonderful as were all the staff on the day. Everyone was catered for, from the wheelchair user I forgot on the table plan (OOPS!!!) to the childminder who was minding my niece in the apartments who Jeff arranged for room service to e delivered to, to the priest who arrived at 8 pm after the meal was over and he was fed and watered like a king!
The food is beautiful and if my waistline would allow me I would love to eat there every week!
Overall, it is a fabulous location for a wedding, big or small and would love to do it all over again in the same hotel.

We had our wedding there in November 2012 and it was a fantastic from the minute we stepped out of the car we were greeted by Bertie and Tia and made feel so special we had a fantastic day there and the food was fablious! cant wait to go back for our anniversary!

Michael the hotel manager checked in with us to make sure everything was perfect and the staff in the restaurant were fantastic! The day finally arrived and as promised by Berty the sun was shining :) we had such a warm welcome from Tia and Berty when we got out of the car and from then on the day was fantastic, all of our guests were taken back at the welcome, the service, the food and the hotel rooms. All of our guests were so relaxed and really enjoyed their weekend and plan to return to the hotel for weekend breaks. Michael looked after us that night and made sure everything ran smoothly , we didnt have to worry about a thing. enough for us, the staff were extremely friendly and treated us like royality including all our guests. The house attached to the side of the hotel that our guests arrived at was lovely it added a touch of class and helped create a relaxing atmosphere for everyone, the room in which we had our main reception in was decorated to a very high standard and looked amazing all our guest were looked after very well and made feal very welcome children included from their arrival till they left 2 days later, the food was out of this world and presented to a very high standard. The hotel offers apartments to which was great as we had a lot of guests to cater for none of which were disappointed they were very comfortable and again kept to a high standard. The bottom line is that this hotel is the perfect place to have your wedding reception I would highly recommend it to everyone, if you want style and elegance then this is the place for you, we returned here for our first year anniversary and even then we were remembered by staff and again treated to a very high standard it is by far the best hotel in the midlands

great in the run up to the wedding and they catered for everything that we needed. The food was superb and not one guest had anything but good things to say about our day in the hotel.
We definitely cannot recommend the Annebrook enough. We had a completely relaxed day due to the help from all the staff and that is the way your wedding day should be!!
Have stayed again since the wedding and the atmosphere was very friendly again, so relaxed. Lovely food, lovely rooms, in general an excellent hotel.

We got engaged in February and decided to look at venues straight away, in truth the Annebrook was one of the last venues we looked at. We had seen eight venues between Meath and Westmeath. Im not from Mullingar but my husband Stephen is, I wasnt very familiar with the Annebrook.

organised to meet Bertie, the owner of the hotel. Baring in mind this was the seventh venue we had seen, my mind was boggled. We had met with some pleasasnt wedding coordinators and some not so pleasant, in one venue we were told you should be privilidged to have your wedding with us and looking for a date in that year was another shock for some coordinators.

Our meeting with Bertie was completely different, he made us feel very relaxed and even organised for us to have dinner in the hotel resteraunt that evening, the food was absolutely amazing. He briefed us on the particular packages available and told us to take our time and come back to him and look at our last venue. There was no pressure.

We went to look at the last venue on the Sunday and truth be told we had a tough decision between two venues. We met again with Bertie and his team, the attention given to us definately sold the venue. Over the next couple of months we had a lot of help from The Annebrook team with recommendations of bands, bakers for our cake, photographers and videographers, and help organising a party for the next day after the wedding.
They went out of their way to help us for the big day.

When October the 27th came, everything went according to plan and we had some extra suprises on the day with extra touches from the Annebrook team. We had just under 200 guests at the wedding and they all enjoyed the day. Eveyones needs were catered for. Everyone was happy with the food and the accomadation.

We would without hesitation recommend The Annebrook to any future couples looking for a venue for their wedding. Nothing is to big or small.

pleasant dealing with Tia (wedding coordinator) and others in the hotel. Nothing was too much hassle, it was all very relaxed and stress free plus they gave us very helpful tips and ideas. The menu tasting was another lovely evening and the food was delicious. Here we met Jeff for the first time and again that calm relaxed atmosphere continued. As the menu tasting was so good we were concerned that it would be difficult to produce such high quality food on a bigger scale. But we needn't have worried, the food on the day was gorgeous and presented as in a restaurant with the guests commenting on the taste and the slightly unusual menu- rack of lamb and seabass. On the day itself myself and David were extremely well looked after. Any time I left my glass down Jeff was refilling it! Throughout the day he checked in with us to ensure everything was ok but this was unobtrusive and subtly done. Not only were myself and David looked after but the guests also commented on Jeffs attentiveness and my flower girls and page boys loved the bottles of seven up and straws!! Later on in the night the bar staff worked hard and kept all our guests watered while being polite, professional and friendly the whole time. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the politeness/ friendliness of the staff and we were not disappointed. The next day was just as laid back with jeff agian on call to help out with anything that was needed. Unfortunately my aunt took ill but the staff at the hotel were extremely good and helped us avail of medical services, quickly and efficiently and all of my family wish to thank them for this. Thanks again to Tia, to Jeff and the rest of the staff- we had a perfect day and I doubt it would have been as successful elsewhere. (I'd give it 6 stars if i could!)
