exactly as we wanted,all the staff at the arklow bay could not have done any more for ourselves and all of our guests.The food in particular was beautiful and is still been spoken about among our family and friends.We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone planning their big day,everyone knows how stressful planning a wedding can be but all the staff made it much less stressfull.We regularly stay in the hotel and will continue to do so .

. This is where Eimear came in, we contacted her and she was so lovely. She made us feel like our big day was her main priority. She took us through a general run through of what most couples do on their day but let us know that they were very open to any creative ideas we had to make things a little different for our day. She really put our minds at rest and we knew it was definitely the right place for us.
We would like to thank you again for all of your help from the day we enquired about booking our wedding, until the moment it was time for bed on our day. Nothing was ever too much for ask for, and questions were always answered super fast. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, or a better venue. The Arklow bay was the first venue that we viewed that made us feel at home , and we left with such excitement knowing that it was the venue that we wanted to get married at; It really did exceed all expectations

Eimear our wedding Coordinator was just brilliant, always on hand for whatever our needs and really went above and beyond for us! The food at our meal was second to none and everyone commented on how nice it was. We were lucky to be able to use there fabulous new refurbished ballroom, so we were delighted with that. I suppose the icing on the cake for us was being able to have our ceremony outdoors on the beautiful grounds of the Arklow Bay overlooking the lake, we really could of been anywhere in the world with the weather and sunshine we got, for September it was just amazing and the whole set up outside for the ceremony was just beautiful. importantly stuff we did not even think about was presented to us in a friendly and thoughtful manner. On the day itself everything was perfect. Our guests were blown away by the friendliness of all the hotel staff and by the quality of service particularly in the serving of the meal. The food was stunning and many of our guests do not live in Ireland so they were amazed at how much food there was! it was truly a perfect day due to the experience and dedication of all at the Arklow Bay.

Everyone was raving about it, including all the meat eaters there (who didn’t “chicken” out)!
Another special thanks has to go to our wedding coordinator Eimear who was with us every step of the way, ensuring everything was planned perfectly. We barely had to think of anything; we just enjoyed every minute of the day.
We have gotten nothing but good feedback from our guests about your lovely staff who provided amazing service all day. Yet another special thanks has to go to your night porter who went so far as to drop some guests home in the early hours of the morning when they couldn’t get a taxi.
There’s nothing bad we can say about The Arklow Bay Hotel. The service we received was as good as any 5 star hotel. We would recommend The Arklow Bay to anyone, especially any vegan couples out there. You’ll be sure to have one of the best days of your life for a fantastic price!

function rooms to helping choose the centre pieces, Eimear truly took the stress away from the planning. On arrival we were made feel the top priority of the from the time we drove up to the door both Eimear and Dick were there to welcome us, Dick couldn’t have been more helpful from carrying bouquets and making sure my dress didn’t drag on the ground, a true gentleman. The food was second to none, every course better than the last nothing was too big of an ask. We truly were made feel like royalty during our time at the hotel. I couldn’t recommend The Arklow Bay enough to anyone thinking of getting married there from the scenery to the food but especially the staff who are so professional, helpful and most of all kind and mannerly. Our experience for our wedding was truly magical, I wish we would do it all over again.

Like any wedding guests at a wedding the main things they will always remember is the food and music and craic
The food was amazing, I still have guests 3 weeks later saying it to me about cleaning off their plates,

If you are lucky enough to have good weather get married at the lake, you will not regret it, an amazing experience it's truly beautiful down there the way the wedding is set up, how often can you get married outside in Ireland, the room in the hotel that ceremony would be in is also beautiful lit up with candles and flowers

The bay suite has been fully renovated this year and it's a gorgeous room for the reception,

All in all I would recommend the Arklow Bay for anyone getting married it truly is an amazing hotel, from Eimear, Musa, Shauna and Dean and all the staff in the Arklow Bay we couldn't be more grateful for all they did to make our day one to remember.

took a lot of stress of myself and my now husband. Eimear imagined everything I could have ever dreamt of and made it a reality. We cannot talk any higher of the staff, the three nights that we stayed in the hotel were fantastic and that’s down to the quality of the staff. The food is divine!! After three days we all needed to be rolled out of the hotel! The chefs prepared an award winning dish every time something came out of the kitchen, whether it was lunch, or even our wedding dinner, it was impeccable!! If anyone is unsure of where to look, the Bay definitely should be an option.

Special mention to Eimear, Shauna, Derek, Dick, Laura, Alice and Cian who made such an impact on our wedding and we will be forever grateful ❤️

married in the hotel itself, we didn't even need to worry about flowers or church decorations etc as the hotel organised all of this for us as part of our package. We were able to have our drinks reception outside which our guests loved as the hotel has beautiful grounds and is only a stone's throw from the beach. The actual reception itself was wonderful. The room was stunning and all of our guests raved about the food and how friendly the staff were. I would highly recommend Arklow Bay to any couple looking for a wedding venue...Thanks so much to all the staff who went out of their way to make our day so special it was greatly appreciated!!

smoothly, our drinks reception was also outside where they have seating and a bar it was beautiful. Then the food it was amazing, everybody complimented it and still to this day our guests are talking about the whole day. The decor and service was top notch and I couldn't fault any of it. one moment it wouldn't go ahead. However, the huge drifts of snow did alter our plans.
The Arklow Bay Hotel were so accommodating with everything. They were so helpful with all our planning and lead up to the big day. As we only had 54 of our original 180 guests present on the 2nd March they organised a beautiful intimate reception. Never for one moment in the hotel did we feel our day was ruined by storm Emma. We were on cloud 9 and the hotel helped create that atmosphere. The meal was amazing and I could not fault the staff or their service. They did everything to ensure we had a great day. As everyone was snowbound we enjoyed a couple of nights in the hotel and the staff were so lovely. Our main reception day was rescheduled then to March 16th. The staff were very helpful with reorganising everything. We even got the honeymoon suite for another night. Our 2nd wedding as we call it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The prosecco was flowing at the drinks reception. The meal again was beautiful. There was plenty of staff working so no one was left waiting for food or for drinks at the bar. There was a great atmosphere and the day ran smoothly.
Our wedding was certainly unique. When I woke up to the snow I was heartbroken. Every girl dreams of their perfect wedding day. And I thought our day was ruined. But The Arklow Bay made sure we were going to get not one but two special days to remember. And I got to wear my dress twice.

On the morning Orla popped in bright and early to make sure everything was going well which was brilliant for me as I’d a lot on as you can imagine. My hairdresser arrived and was in complete shock when she arrived at reception as they greeted her with such welcome that she had never experienced from a hotel. The ceremony was beautiful, the room for the service was nicer than I imagined, so well decorated and picture perfect. The food was unbelievable, to serve so many people is hard but all my guests couldn’t compliment the food enough, the whole day was amazing. Myself and a lot of my guests were staying for the weekend and we were treated the same the whole way through. It was the best experience of my life so far! To any brides or grooms out there myself and my husband would highly recommend the Arklow bay hotel.

clockwork. We got married outside and they had set the area up beautifully. All our guests were looked after from the moment they arrived.
It was an extremely hot day and they had fans on hand for bedrooms and for our reception room. The food was amazing, large portions and hot. The service was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. Anything we needed they helped us with.
It was such a relaxed atmosphere and we never felt rushed. We felt like we had the hotel to ourselves and we were the most important people in it.

finish so easy and everything and more than we ever could have imagined. After we first met her that day in the Bay to the wedding day you were so helpful and kind were both still on cloud 9 after it all.

Everything from the professionalism of all the staff on the day, all the little quirks we added in (like arriving in on a Motorbike to the reception) being looked after to a T, the beautiful setting, the fabulous comfy rooms and gorgeous bridal suite, down to the food on the day it's left us wanting to do it all over and over again and knowing that there is not one thing we would change.

Everyone is still commenting and remarking about our day and how they have never seen a wedding like it - there are not too many places that could have coped with our numbers from 120 for a sit down meal to 450+ invited to an afternoon reception and a buffet that would have left any Michelin star restaurant in awe and so much gorgeous food for everyone. No-one went away hungry and that was our biggest request.

Everyone in the Arklow Bay Hotel played an absolute blinder that day and to say we loved every single second would be a massive understatement.

Again huge huge HUGE thank you to Orla particularly but everyone else that was there on the day or before for the set up we cannot thank you all for everything enough.

Truly a magical amazing day that we will remember with the best memories of all our family & friends gathered around us

spoke to said the food was amazing one person even said every plate came out hot and it's not very often so many people are served without a dish being returned. She had suggestions for everything from florists to bands to photographers but was never pushy about any of them. She was just full of good ideas to help us plan our special day! We never felt like we were losing control of our day or that it wouldn't be as we imagined it. Lisa was able to help make it a perfect day.

Obviously she wasn't alone in this and the rest of the team at the hotel were fantastic as well. The hotel always looked great every time we visited (and especially on the day of our wedding!) and the staff were warm and friendly to us and all of our guests at all time. Any request we had they happily helped us out.

The food was fantastic and we had compliments from so many people about how much better it was than food they had had at other weddings. All the plates were presented perfectly and looked and tasted delicious.

We had a small ceremony in the ceremony room upstairs and the whole room was presented beautifully.

I'm sure the day was very busy and there was a lot to do but Lisa was always there to help us and we never felt rushed and never had to worry about anything for the whole day.

We would happily recommend the Arklow Bay to anybody thinking about having their wedding there.

so at ease from the moment we went to talk to Lisa we ended up turning our 1 day into a 2 day event and nothing was a problem in fact they went above and more to help us Lisa and her team were always on hand to offer support and advice and honest support that was anything we needed we had a meeting or email or a phone call if i could do all again i would was the best weekend of our lives the food was the talking point people asked how was 174 meals all served so hot the venue itself is amazing we couldn't of asked for a better venue and staff there is not one fault we could say about this hotel and we cant wait to return for special weekends away i cant stress enough how much Lisa and the arklow bay made our dream wedding come true on behalf of myself and my husband and my family and friends we would like to thank every single one of the staff for everything they done for us we will never forget and now the arklow bay will always have a special place in our hearts thanks guys xoxo

They pulled out all the stops not just for us but for our guests to.
They wanted us to have a special day and for our day to be different so they listen to our ideas and made sure we got our them on our day.
They made us feel special from the first moment we met with the hotel staff and they always had time for us even though they had loads of other brides to look after.

some sad news in the morning which meant I was the best part of an hour late! But thanks to Orla it felt like it was all part of the process when I arrived. Orla assured me everybody was ready, we all looked great, and that we would move at our own pace. I really cannot fault one single thing about the hotel or the experience. Before dinner Orla asked me if I wanted to go and see the diner room, I said no. The reason for this was that I was so confirdent that she, along with everyone involved in organising the day, had made the room everything we wanted, and when myself and Dave walked down the corridor and into the room, I have to say it was more than we expected.

It felt like we were the only people there that mattered, even the next morning when my braclet fell down the back for the radiator cabinet, up arrived a member of the team with a drill in hand to retrieve it!

The only down part in the whole experience is that we haven't had time yet to go back to the hotel to both thank Orla personally, and have a carvery dinner!:)

When we talk to other newlyweds they tell me stories of how this and that went wrong with the hotel and we just feel so lucky that we picked Arklow Bay, because the whole day is a stand out memory to us. We couldn't recommend it enough for anybody's perfect day.

every need and request was met with the upmost professionalism, and Orlaith put us at ease through the whole planning experience, reassuring us, making us feel that we'd chosen the perfect venue for our wedding. We wanted a small, intimate day with close family and friends, and that is exactly what we got. The ceremony room was dressed beautifully, with an almost fairytale atmosphere. Orlaith had managed the music for our ceremony so that it complemented the timing of my arrival and us leaving the ceremony as husband and wife. When an extra few guests arrived at the last minute, there was no issue, the wedding team arrived with extra seats and ensured the smooth running of the day. The meal was incredible, we and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it, as Orlaith had gone meticulously through the menu options with us previously, helping us tailor the perfect menu to suit all tastes and requirements. In the evening, the room was transformed into an elegant setting for our first dance, speeches and the cutting of the cake, which had all been aided by the flawless work of the wedding team. We would like to thank all at the Arklow Bay, especially Orlaith, who ensured we remember our special day with love and fondness for the rest of our lives, they went above and beyond to make it a most magical occasion, and we could not give a higher recommendation, this is simply the best venue we could have chosen.

organizing things, such as the table seating plan, the music, and the timing. She helped us to relax and enjoy organizing the wedding. Shauna volunteered to do sound for us during our ceremony. It was a small midweek wedding but they still made it feel like a very big special day. There were a number of vegetarians/vegans at our wedding and the menu was left open and flexible for a long time which ensured everyone got what they wanted to eat. On the day itself, Orla made sure all the guests were catered for before the arrival of the bride, giving out drinks and biscuits, and made sure that everything was organized for the brides entrance to the ceremony. The room for the ceremony was well lit with a romantic atmosphere. After the ceremony, they handed us a glass of prosecco and had more refreshments ready for our guests while we got photos taken before dinner. The dining room was beautifully organized. The seating plan was exactly as we had arranged, and our favors and trinkets were laid out just as we had asked. Everybody enjoyed the starter, main course, and dessert. The staff were on the ball with making sure everyone had enough to drink, as well as taking empty plates away when one had finished their dinner. The sound was brilliant, we had no problems with the PA system during the meal. One guest said she'd love to have an intimate wedding service and dinner just like we received. The staff waited patiently for us to finish our speeches before setting up the room quickly and quietly for dancing. We were able to close the bar at an appropriate time. We also enjoyed breakfast in bed the next morning served by Martina who always provides service with a smile.

relaxed for us. Having both at the hotel made the day so relaxed. We have 3 children and didn't want the hassle of moving from the church to the hotel. We started off with a lovely breakfast in the hotel restaurant that morning myself and my bridesmaids. Then we got ready. My beautican. Hair stylist etc all came to the hotel. Then we enjoyed a beautiful ceremony upstairs. It was so intimate and relaxed. Then we had our meal which was absolutely amazing. Everyone was talking about the food. The service was incredible. Our function room was decorated perfectly. It was like something out of a fairy tale. I cried when I seen it. I had dreamed about my wedding day from a young child and thanks to the arklow bay it was everything I had dreamed of and even more. It definitely was the best day of our lives...

venue, this is where we were immediately excited with the Arklow bay. The facilities are spacious and offer and excellent procession through to the space which is bright, airy, well presented, clean and contemporary. A key factor for us in the end was the very evident professionalism and experience of the staff, Orla Ryan specifically made us feel safe, welcome and of value, that we mattered and would be looked after. This turned out to be such an important part of the day itself when the wider staff maintained this professionalism and discretion throughout the day and evening. We were genuinely impressed and delighted with the overall preparation and event management, courtesy and consistency of care, the quality of the food and flexibility of the team to accommodate our needs and desires. We extend our thanks to Orla and the team and wholeheartedly recommend the Arklow bay. Furthermore, the rooms were also of a very fine standard and well accommodated all our guests. It was a perfect day and we can honestly think of nothing more that we would have requested.

Myself and my Husband would like to thank the Arklow Bay Hotel and it's staff for making our wedding day the best day of our lives. My only regret is that I am not doing it all again and I would not change a thing, well maybe just a little less rain ;-)

we had. The room was even better than we had expected it to be on the day. You can tell the staff really care about attention to detail,everything was flawless. Our favourite moment was as the main was being served to the top table,our entrance song was playing and the staff came to top table with the plates covered and unveiled the meal to us at the same time. This was a complete surprise to us and it really made the day even more special. We couldn't fault anything about staff or hotel itself. From the day we booked until our big day, everything went smoothly. We couldn't recommend a better place.

according to plan, from the ceremony room beautifully decorated to the stunning grounds for photos. The meal was absolutely scrumptious, could not fault it in any way. The service was excellent with not one person having to wait on their food. I would no hesitation in recommending The Arklow Bay for a wedding, few days break or just a night out. We organised for both families to meet up the night before for a meal and the bar staff couldn't do enough for us, from reserving a table and excellent service.

Leading up to our wedding was made very easy with no stress because we knew everything was well organised with the Hotel. They were always happy to answer any questions we had. Always fast to return our emails. They just put us at ease. When we checked into the hotel the day before our wedding all the staff made us feel so special. They could not do enough for us. Attention to details was unbelievable. On our wedding day it all went by so fast, we were so relaxed and all our guests were made so welcome by the management and staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel. The food was fabulous and our wedding reception Room itself was layed out so everyone could see us and we could see them. Our guests our still talking about how great it was. The Food,the venue and the Rooms they all stayed over in. We have so many wonderful memories of a fantastic weekend. Our whole wedding was made so special.
The Arklow Bay Hotel and grounds with the beautiful lake make this the perfect place to get married.

night or two for Orla and the team when we asked if they could serve our toast drinks on hurls!!

The food was amazing as always, really top notch and everyone was complimenting it and the size of the portions. The room was amazing and even though I have been to a number of weddings in the hotel it still gave me the WOW factor when I walked in which is what every bride wants.

We are both so happy we picked the Arklow Bay as our wedding venue and we would recommend it 100%. Everything on the day was perfect and flawless and Orla and the team could not have done more for us.

To Orla and all the staff thank you so much for making our wedding day so special.
