visiting David to begin more formal arrangements, right up to our wedding day, we never experienced anything but first class service from this hotel. A sincere thank you to David and Josephine who assisted us through the planning stages of our wedding and for their first class service on the day itself. They could not have done more to assist us or to make our day any more perfect. All our guests commented on the staff & management and how they felt as if they'd known them years the way they welcomed them to the hotel & couldn't do enough for not only us, but every guest also! The food, as always, was amazing! There was loads of everything & the service was fab, everybody's food was piping hot, and there were almost 300 guests to feed!
The hotel itself has spectacular views, fabulous surroundings & very well kept & maintained grounds, which meant we managed to get amazing pictures!
The attention to detail throughout the hotel on our wedding day was outstanding and the reception room looked magical with beautiful flowers, centrepieces, chair covers, table runners and a lit up backdrop behind the top table. Also, the spacious foyer area allowed for us to have a photobooth and sweet stand for our guests throughout the day.
We would, without a doubt, highly recommend the Broadhaven Bay for holding the reception for anybody's wedding big day. It truly is amazing!

Many of our guests commented on the excellent quality of the food and in particular the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, not just on the day of the wedding but throughout the whole weekend. can't praise the staff enough, the waiting staff couldn't do enough and the food was brilliant. All our guests were very impressed with the hospitality everyone was showing. I can't speak highly enough how they run this hotel it's top class and it flows from the very top down. We had to be most amazing day with friends and family in a fabulous hotel.

with us numerous times to make sure all was going well and if we needed anything changed etc. The day itself proved stress free and relaxed with The Broadhaven staff looking after us and our guests. The dinner was delicious and punctual which was important to us. An added bonus was the two cars provided to us by the hotel.

We can't recommend The Broadhaven highly enough and will gladly give it top marks.

where we wanted to hold our Wedding reception.
It could have been difficult With us residing in England, but David always made himself available whenever we were in Ireland to discuss our plans with us. Nothing was too much trouble and we found him to be very accommodating with all of our personal wishes.
You also get a lot of added extra surprises that make the day !!!!
We also found him to be extremely good in advising on photographers , cakes etc outside of the hotel remit.
Everything ran very smoothly from the booking of the rooms, to the day and the days after that we stayed for.
I would like to thank not only David for this but Josephine who looked after Us Fabulously when He had finished his shift and every single member of staff in the hotel they were tremendous and could not do enough for everyone.
We all enjoyed it so much that we had a reunion back in the hotel this Easter!
So thank you again to all the staff and I would 100% recommend this hotel for anyone thinking of getting Married. X

Broadhaven. Nothing was too much from organising the cars, the reception area, the banquet hall, table layout etc. The day could not have gone any better. The food was sensational the drinks kept flowing and every one of our guests are still talking about what a great venue and wedding we had to this day.

we went to meet David to discuss our plans. We were very worried about the distance involved between where we lived and where the wedding would be held, but from the moment we walked into the reception at the Broadhaven and met with David, our worries disappeared. We were able to tell him what plan we had in mind, choose a date and leave it with him. We went back to discuss the menu, which was difficult because all of the choices were fantastic, the food is a major part of the wedding, and we had no worries that the menu would be great. David was always on hand to advise and the staff were so brilliant, I could not wait for my wedding day to arrive, we were given names of florists, bands and cake makers and went off to choose, all of the choices we were given were of high quality it was difficult to make a decision. On the last visit to the Broadhaven before the wedding date, David asked what was the wedding colour, I told him Cadbury purple and thought no more about it. The staff at the hotel prepared and displayed our seating plan the night before the wedding, it looked brilliant outside the door to the room, but, when I walked into the room itself I started crying! the background lighting was a perfect purple, the tables and chairs had purple cover, it was magical, we were so overwhelmed. The friends that we brought over from England, could not believe the service at the hotel, the staff were unbelievably accommodating, the Broadhaven has such a fantastic team that work together seamlessly, in fact my wedding is still being talked about today as the best one ever and I feel that that is all due to the Broadhaven Hotel, we cannot thank them enough!

Eamon, through the tasting evening with Josephine, to sorting out the accomodation with Keith, you all really made our whole experience enjoyable. You thought of everything and took the pressure off us both. Nothing was a problem! At a time when people can get stressed and worried – you made the planning and preparation a pleasure and we had, without doubt, the best day of both our lives so far.
We got married on a cold, wild and wet New Years Day and the hotel was as warm and welcoming as the staff when we arrived. It was beautifully festive with open fires and candles, Christmas trees and lights. The place looked amazing with a scrumptious selection of hot and cold food and gallons of tea, coffee, mulled wine and prosecco when we arrived. We were really wowed by the banquet room when we walked in, it looked absolutely magical with dim lights, sparkly backdrops, fabulous flowers and lots of candles. Our family and friends continuously commented throughout the day on how amazing and friendly the staff were and how absolutely delicious the food was. The staff generously offered everyone lots of second helpings and they were flat out topping the wine up throughout the meal! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the banquet with many openly confessing to overindulging as the food really was just too good to resist!!

amazing ability to make us feel like nothing was to much to ask for. Our families and guests absolutely sang the praises of the hotel and the staff,the food, the venue,they all felt that they were so looked after. first time we visited the Broadhaven Bay hotel however we were sold! The general manager David and his staff were all extremely welcoming. Every last person spoke to us that morning and made us feel right at home. David was very thorough also, giving us advice and tips that we hadn't thought of before. We left feeling very impressed and booked shortly after.

Closer to the date we brought both immediate families down to taste a sample of the food for our big day. A tip before you go. Don't eat that day. To say we were stuffed was an understatement! The food was amazing and again reaffirmed our decision to go with the Broadhaven Bay.

The hotel on the day were brilliant. Josephine and David again deserve a special mention for all the hard work they put in during that weekend in July. I was impressed by the welcome we got as a couple having been newly married and thought staff went all out. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was great and everyone was friendly. There was also no pressure or rush on anyone and everything went without a hitch. It was the best day and a lot of that is owing to the attention to detail shown by the team. I would thoroughly recommend it and was very pleased with all the positive feedback I received from both family and friends.

friendly and helpful. No task is too big for them. On the run up to our wedding they were extremely helpful and calmed our nerves by assuring us they had it all in hand. On the day we could not fault the service provided. They made us feel so special. Everything went so smoothly . The whole atmosphere in the hotel was amazing and that was down to the expertise and professionalism of the staff. The meal provided was amazing. The rest of the night flowed with ease and we hated the night to end. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel for any function. Many of my wedding guests stayed in the hotel and their feedback was that the hotel and it's staff were fantastic and the service provided was top class.

what it entailed and what the hotel provided. He listened to our ideas and we worked together to create the wedding that we desired.

Some of our ideas were new to the hotel. David took these on board and embraced them, he seen it as a challenge and soon became as excited as we were.

Throughout the planning process the hotel kept in regular contact and up to date on any developments regarding our wedding, considering at all times that we were not readily available as we are UK based!

On the day of our wedding we were completely overwhelmed. We didn't have to worry about anything. David, Josephine and their team had everything under control and delivered all of our wishes. The staff worked so hard to ensure that each and every guest felt special. They were polite, friendly and professional.

Our guests still speak about their time at the Broadhaven Bay Hotel and the warm welcome they received. This continued throughout their stay, making sure they were getting the most from their stay and ensuring their experience was one to remember. This meant a lot to both us.

David, Josephine and their team are truly amazing at what they do, the service they provide is second to none and they will always go out of their way to ensure your every need is met. I couldn't recommend them or compliment them enough.

the moment we first visited the hotel the staff couldn't do enough for us.
Our wedding was a bit different as not only had the hotel to cater for myself and Jerry but also keep our children happy.
Our son has autism and has a guide dog from the Irish guide dogs. This was never an issue in the broadhaven venue in fact they embraced it. There was a bowl left in the corner for her water and she was so well minded.
I can honestly say that we had no issues.
David and Josephine had every detail planned so well.
It didn't matter what or when I asked I got a phone call or an email straight away, if you are like me and like efficiency you will love this hotel.
If you want to experience hospitality at its finest visit the Broadhaven.
Our son was made feel so at ease.
There was always someone there to keep an eye and give him that friendly smile. He loves the broadhaven and calls it 'his hotel'.
Polly our guide dog was given pride of place also at the top table.
This is a fantastic hotel and very disability aware.
Our whole family had the most wonderful food and our guests are still talking about the baked alaska! In fact I think some of them had more than one serving.
All of friends told us this will be the first of many trips to Belmullet.

more. His down to earth approach was so refreshing and just made the whole experience that much more relaxing and fun and we could completely relax on the day knowing that we were in his safe hands.

The Broadhaven Bay supplied us with beautiful and stylish wedding cars - we chose a Jaguar and BMW. The chauffeurs were so friendly and the bridal party had great fun with them. As it was a frosty April day, and we were getting some chilly seaside shots between the ceremony in Ballycastle and the reception, the chauffeurs had some hot whiskey and sandwiches for us all which was so kind and unexpected. They really do pull out ALL the stops! I can't say enough good things about them to be honest.

At the reception there were a few more fabulous surprises which I won't give away here but everything they did made for very happy guests and a very relaxed bride and groom. The food was amazing, the staff were so professional and friendly. The hotel itself was beautiful and the location is gorgeous! Our guests hung about until late enough the next day just enjoying the hotel and lunch etc. Some went hiking around Belmullet and there was talk of some taking a dip in the ocean! All these things we didn't expect but everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Our 'cake' was from Sheridans Cheesemongers and was made up of 5 cheese wheels. The Broadhaven Bay Hotel decorated it for us with a beautiful display of fruit and roses and even served it later on as a cheeseboard with dragon fruit! Honestly I can't think on one other hotel that would do this for someone and free of charge. Choosing them was the best thing we did for a stress free, fun and fabulous wedding day. the drivers arriving to the house who were lovely and had the cars looking spotless to our guests commenting to us about the lovely lobby area and how beautiful the room was decorated. It matched our Autumn theme which was no trouble for them to do. They thought the food was fantastic along with the staff and service. There was plenty food and wine and said they were always asked if they needed anything more. Some of our guests hadn't been there before and said they will defiantly be going back. the moment we met David we felt right at home and didn't take long to decide it was the venue for us.The management team of David and Josephine in particular were brilliant. not stop complimenting on the hospitality of this hotel and the wonderful food. A majority of our guests travelled from the UK and they all comment about how welcomed they felt. We had different items that we wanted to set up in the lobby, such as recreating a family bakery and this was no problem for the team to do and they did it just as we wanted. This hotel always goes the extra mile doing things that you wouldn't find another hotel doing, like proving buffet for our guests the night before the wedding that we were meeting in the lobby. The package is also amazing, including wedding cars, with a buffet provided when you go to get your photos, as well as welcoming drinks and the room and table decorations being part of this. The center pieces are beautiful fresh flowers. The wine is also included in the is price so there is no ridiculous corkage charges. Even little touches like our own personalised menus which included a photo that Dave took of us when we were arrived at the hotel. This would have put pressure on the hotel having to go to print so quickly but this hotel is happy to do something like this. You will enjoy the run up to the wedding with a beautiful food tasting session in the rwhere the table will be beautifully decorated to reflect the actual wedding tables and peso hine is so accomodating. Having people coming over from the UK the guest room organisation could have been a nightmare but it was anything but. Keith always kept me updated and he was always so helpful with queries that I had. Dave and Joesphine are on hand the whole wedding day making sure that everyone is happy and Dave is a brilliant master of the ceremony. Your will not be disappointed!

you even down to the wedding cars which we had use of for the whole day. It was so nice to be able to sit back and relax on the day of the wedding knowing there was nothing to worry about. booked our reception with David, the help and advice we received was outstanding. When our guests walked into the hotel they were warmly welcomed and all have commented on how beautifully the lobby was decorated and the great service they recieved. The Meal and service was excellent as always and the room just looked fantastic, we had a big wedding 370 guest's and we had no complaints the hotel are more than capable of hosting big weddings. middle of finishing off set up for a function(it may have been a wedding I can't remember exactly) but Dave met us with a smile offered us a drink and took his time to go through all of the wedding packages, dates available and everything we needed to know about planning our wedding. That initial meeting was enough for me, and to say the way we were treated that day even though busy and we had no appointment as we walked out the door my husband to be turned to me and said book the hotel!! From there on every meeting I had with Dave..and their were a lot I was DEFINITLEY a fussy bride and no doubt wrecked his head constantly calling back or just popping in to check things with him he never once missed a meeting, didn't answer a call, text or email, even when looking for opinions on bands I was given an answer....no request was too big. The day itself..I can safely say it was the best of our lives, I never felt more at home or relaxed knowing everything was taken care of, our families couldn't believe the level of service or the way each and every guest was looked after. I couldn't recommend this team/staff or hotel more, the level of care they give to each couple and each wedding is undeniable. We wish we could do it all again!!

tasted was excellent and we were glad to have had the chance to taste and therefore choose something different for our big day.
The day itself went so smoothly. Cars arrived immaculately presented with courteous professional drivers. The hotel reacted to changing weather and accommodated our photos. David and the kitchen staff allowed some flexibility to allow our guests to watch the All Ireland semi, thankfully a Mayo win!
The room was decorated to perfection with colours to match our bridesmaids. As for the meal itself we can say nothing other than superb, it was well presented and professionally served yet still flexible to allow for dietary requirements and teenage tastes.
Guests both staying at the hotel or in accommodation elsewhere commented how welcome they were made feel throughout the weekend, a comment reiterated by our band in the evening.
All in all we have nothing but praise for the team in helping us achieve the successful day we had wanted. Throughout the whole process help and advice was only a phone call away, and never too much.
We would highly recommend The Broadhaven Bay to other couples and are extremely grateful to the entire team of staff for their part in making our day so special.

I am so glad we choose to have our wedding in the Broadhaven Bay and if i was to do it all over again I would certainly pick the same venue!!

such a comfortable hotel to go to. Our guests have all commented on the Delicious food and superb service.
We also met the owners, Geraldine & Ramon who were really lovely and welcomed us to the hotel.
The service the Broadhaven Bay provide is out of this world. From their little touches like beautiful China cups for tea to the provision of wedding cars.
They really take the stress out of the reception!
We stayed a couple of nights after the wedding in the bridal suite which was not a problem either. We felt like royalty from the moment we landed as Mr & Mrs O'Boyle.

manager David is the most finominal man at his job, anything and everything that was needed wasn't a problem in the slightest and have a wide variety of decor and arrangements to choose from. It was also amazing value for money without losing any of the quality. I have also attended a good few weddings in the broadhaven bay hotel and have yet to have a bad experience or to here a bad word from anyone on this wedding venue and staff. They are more than deserving and more of a reward for there dedication to what in my opinion they have turned into an art form.

were from outside of Ireland, and they found their communication with the Broadhaven straight forward.

The tasting night was fabulous. Josephine and David, along with their staff were wonderful. We tried so many lovely dishes it was hard to choose. They had a full house that night, but still made us feel like we were special.

On the day,... what can I say. It was completely perfect. From the start with the lovely drivers and arrival confetti, to gorgeous food and finishing with great late night bar staff, it was brilliant. The room looked elegant. My young niece told me she thought she walked into a fairy tale.

The staff fulfilled and surpassed any expectation we had. They were able to feed some of our guests with allergies ranging from gluten, shellfish, dairy, tomatoes... etc. and they did so without blinking an eye.

The Broadhaven Bay helped to make our day so special. We couldn't have asked for more.

We are both Irish living in London but they are well used to dealing with wedding couples living outside of the country. Every request both large or small was dealt with. Sometimes when you’re overseas you’re a bit apprehensive and nervous as to whether your requests are being carried out but take it from us, every single one was and we did have some big requests too, which were no problem to David, Josephine and Keith.

From my very first visit to the hotel my first impression was how quickly I felt relaxed, which is down to the warmest of welcomes that all the staff give. I thought to myself if I feel like that, all our families travelling long distances will surely feel the same and they did. Every one of them commented on the real personal touch of the hotel staff. Nothing is too much trouble. It is all the little details that hit us, from food/drink in the wedding cars to the amazing reception we got when arriving back at the hotel, to Josephine checking what time we wanted breakfast brought to the luxurious bridal suite in the morning. The staff are all local and are so proud of being from Mayo that their warmth is instantly palpable. Another example of the lengths they go to is the overnight staff at the hotel driving my nephew to the on-call doctor. We have to mention the food in the hotel which is wholesome, hearty and delicious. Your wedding group will definitely be well fed! Also your wedding planning is in very safe hands with David, as he is very experienced and listens to your requests going way beyond what is expected.
We had people saying afterwards that it was the best wedding that they’d been to.

enough the level of service we received from David, Josephine and all the staff, they really go out of their way to be helpful and nothing is ever a problem. They were reassuring throughout the day and everything ran very smoothly, the food was fantastic as it always is. We live locally to the hotel and often attend weddings, family gatherings and meals in the hotel and could not fault any of them that's why the Broadhaven was our first and only choice. We have been to weddings in other hotels and always compare them back to the Broadhaven but they never live up to the standard we receive in the Broadhaven. helps out so much with the wedding coordination. The wedding meal is always top notch and Josephine in charge of catering will make sure everybody leaves with a full belly. The function room is laid out brilliantly on the big day by Anne and can cater for large numbers without any problems. Rooms are clean and spacious and the view overlooking Broadhaven Bay is beautiful. We have been to many venues throughout the country celebrating our friends and families big day but the Belmullet wedding is always our favourite.

Because if the amount if staff there is no delay in any table being served so all tables are eating at same time. Seconds are offered to everyone which are very welcome by some! When booking they are open to any suggestion & love trying something different. They are so warm & welcoming & look after guests so well. Even the next day late breakfast goers are looked after which means a lot. I cannot even count the amount of weddings I have been to there but each time I get invited to one there I am confident of the great meal and service we will receive & we never get bored of that! couple have the best day. The Broadhaven Bay hotel is a very popular hotel in the area and as a local couple we have been to a lot of weddings there! But for our own wedding we were made feel very special and they made us feel that our wedding day was the most important wedding they ever hosted. From talking to other couples we have heard the same sentiment. The staff at the Broadhaven Bay hotel tailor their wedding packages to your own unique needs and this, in our eyes makes them the best wedding venue. David Tyrell is simply fantastic at his job and goes out of his way to ensure that your wedding day is the most unique day for you as a couple. We had quite a number of people travel to Belmullet for our wedding (some of them for the first time) and they could not get over the wonderful welcome and hospitality that greeted them at this hotel. In addition, the Broadhaven Bay hotel recognise that a couple's wedding day is as much about the families of the couple getting married. Parents and grandparents are treated like royalty- there's no easier way to describe it. My grandmother, upon arrival at the hotel, was provided with a chair with prime view of everybody before the meal which meant she could chat with all the guests. Also, she was treated to tea and sandwiches without having to ask for it. It is these small details that set this hotel apart from the rest. We as a couple really appreciated these finer details and the way our nearest and dearest were treated on the day. Thank you Eamon, Geraldine, David and all the staff for the most memorable wedding day - excellent food, excellent staff and the best wedding venue we have ever been in,both as guests& as hosts.

They treated of familys like VIPs set up sweet table, slide show, cake, baskets for toilets, our over night bags left in our room, golf trips etc the list is endless.. also my husband left a wedding card on the bar by accident and one of the waitress gave it to me, I inturn left it on the on the top table completely forgot about it and guess what was sitting in reception the next morning with a postit with my name on it,,the card!! never any doubt that we'd get married there, we have been to weddings there before and had countless dinners and nights out there, all perfect. Josephine, David, Geraldine and Keith were on hand for all of our questions, requests and last minute drop-offs from our initial meeting to the big day. They made lots of recommendations from band to videographer to allocating hotel rooms. We made plenty of changes to the seating plan and guestlist but the reception staff showed amazing patience and all of our planning was made easier with their help.

Every detail was perfect:
Two weeks before the wedding I saw flowers I loved in the lobby - they took photos and added them to our file so we'd have them for our own day.
We had a large top table - no problem!
Put all the little cousins at a kids' table - they loved it!
We wanted tall cocktail tables beside the bar for the band - sorted!
We asked for the photobooth and sweets table to be brought into the reception room - they were happy to cater to every detail for us.
Some guests had forgotten to RSVP and weren't on our seating plan - David got to every single one of them before dinner and made sure they knew where they were sitting - no stress for us!
We had dropped off special glasses for our toasts the week before, they were ready and waiting for us on the table - nothing was forgotten.
Josephine stood by us during the dinner and speeches in case we wanted for anything.
Plenty of great food, everything ran smoothly, it was a lovely, stress-free day.

Thanks for making our day perfect :-D We would highly recommend the Broadhaven Bay Hotel for anyone planning a wedding.

They provide a complete wedding package where other venues seek to charge additional prices for certain add ons.ie cars etc.

The food on the day was exceptional and praised by all our guests. Also the choice and range of their menu is unrivalled from our research prior to venue choice.

In summary the Broadhaven Bay is a wonderful venue with outstanding service and and an easy to deal with wedding planning team.

surprises and treats on the day. Our guests commented on how friendly, professional, warm and welcoming the staff were. Food and wine were excellent and guests complimented that they were never hungry from the moment they walked in. Rooms were superior and plenty of breakfast in relaxed surroundings the following day. Many guests have commented that they hope to return in the future for a holiday in the Broadhaven. date and thankfully we booked the Broadhaven Bay Hotel. When myself and Kieran got engaged we were looking at venues, and some were surprised that we were taking the trek to Belmullet when we live so close to Westport and Castlebar.We definitely made 100% the right decision for our venue.
Neither of us had been at a wedding at the Broadhaven but had heard great report's from other people that the hotel and staff are brilliant. Before booking the venue we met the manager David at the hotel, the friendliness, professionalism and enthusiasm that was shown to us on that day, gave us confidence that this was the venue for us. We wanted a hotel that was excellent, private, provide great food and service, could host a great party and very important that it was family friendly, the Broadhaven ticked all boxes. Over the course of the 2 year's David and all the staff have been amazing to deal with. Leading up to the wedding David was a great asset to us when it came to planning our whole day, not just the reception.
The night of the menu tasting, we were treated extremely well and myself and Kieran were sure we had picked the perfect venue. The food, drink and service were brilliant and that was just the trial run. The weeks leading up to the wedding, everything ran smoothly with huge help from David & Josephine and all the staff.
Moving on to the wedding day itself, every detail we (mostly Caroline) asked for, was taken care of! On the wedding day, Storm Frank decided to greet us, when arriving at the hotel it was windy to say the least! David welcomed us and it was so nice that all the guests were in the lobby area of the hotel when we entered. The venue looked amazing, the winter wonderland theme was so elegant and pretty. Guest's have been hugely complimentary of the appearance of the venue, and the great food and hospitality. As I (Caroline) work as a Dietitian, I wanted really good food and that is what we got, any guests with special dietary requirements were well catered for and many guests mentioned the excellent service they received from staff. The hospitality didn't end on the wedding day, the day after the wedding, guests were able to have a late check out and late breakfast.

We had a fantastic wedding day and enjoyed every second of it. If a couple want a wedding that is going to be homely, family friendly, with great food and service, and fantastic hospitality, then the Broadhaven is the place to go. We cannot thank everyone enough for all the happy memories we have, throughout the lead up to our wedding and on our wedding day!

something off the menu for our groomsman as he is an extremely plain eater and they didn't want him going hungry! To this day everyone still raves about the service they received at the Broadhaven, an absolute 5 star service was given to each and every guest! Not one person left the hotel with an empty stomach the next day regardless of the time they got up, the staff did not want anyone driving home until they were fed and watered for the journey!!! do it all again I wouldn't dream of having my big day anywhere else. Everything we wanted we got without any hesitation. Myself, our children and my bridal party stayed in the Hotel the night before the wedding and got ready there in the morning. All the staff looked after us so well and made it feel like a home from home for us. They enjoyed the day with us. The food was fantastic and the staff so efficient. sincere thank you to David and Josephine who assisted us through the planning stages of our wedding and for their help on the day itself. They could not have done more to assist us or make our day more perfect. Everything about the service on the day was of the highest standard and was complimented upon by many of our guests.

The food was amazing. No request was too much bother. The meal was wonderful, well served, piping hot and plentiful!!

The grounds of the hotel are spectacular with gorgeous gardens and amazing views, which lent themselves perfectly to our wedding photographs and video.

The attention to detail throughout the hotel on our wedding day was outstanding and the reception room looked magical with beautiful flowers, centrepieces, chair covers, table runners and lit up backdrop behind the top table. Also, the spacious foyer area allowed for us to have a cupcake and sweet stand for our guests throughout the day.

We would most definitely recommend the Broadhaven Bay for holding the reception for your big day. It will be difficult to beat it for value, hospitality, quality of service and peace of mind before and on your big day.

From the moment we had settled on this venue David, Josephine and all of the staff could not have been more hands on and cooperative. They exceeded all of our expectations ten fold in terms of their attention to detail, going the extra mile and just general professionalism which I don't think I have ever witnessed before or will again.

They are the hardest working team of people and totally committed to ensuring that your day is not only the most special of your lives but is a special day for all of your guests too which was evident by the response from ALL of our 350 guests as they truly had a magnificent experience and were so impressed with the homely atmosphere and how well they were treated by staff.

I have yet to attend a wedding or experience the quality any other hotel has to offer as for me personally ,other venues just pale in comparison.

Any requests I had for David & Josephine (there were plenty!) they obliged me on every one of them and then some!

On the day of wedding I was overwhelmed with how beautiful the hotel looked and all the extra touches they laid as a surprise!! Wow!

The drinks reception was laid out so elegantly and all the unusual appetizers we had asked for were there in abundance , tasted delicious and served so beautifully. The reception area was like stepping into another world , it was amazing! They added on so many extra touches we could not take it all in at once, they surpassed all of our expectations.

This hotel is one of the top wedding venues in the country and is fast becoming THE place to hold your big day for all of the reasons stated above but also because it is so reasonable and the standard of service you receive truly does not reflect the cost.

I would urge anyone getting married to seriously consider this venue as you will not be disappointed. They sincerely made our day a magical one and we will never forget them for it

Everything was layed out beautifully from greating us ,to the meal which was excellent and service top class. I would like to thank all the staff for such amazing day. I had lots of guests from England and they have nt seen service and hospitality like in broadhaven. Thankfully all our Guests got to hotel safely as the snow was a concern . Propritors and Management made sure that people who had nt planned to stay the night got a room due to weather. They organiesd everything to such fine detail i had no organistion to do at all in the hotel all we had to do was show up. They also did our wedding transport for us . Thanks David once again for getting us there safely as it was artic conditions. All i can anyone who is thinking about getting married the broadhaven is the place, you will not find better. confident everyone at the hotel was. Josephine, Dean and David could not have been more helpful and relaxed. We live in London and so we were not able to make many trips to the hotel in preparation, but this was not a problem because we had so much confidence in the hotel. They took the stress out of the preparation completely. Our guests were equally impressed with the hotel throughout their stay. The warmth of all of the staff, the fantastic quality of food (including breakfast, bar and restaurant), the facilities (including pool and beauty/hair salon) and the location in general. The food at our wedding was exceptionally good and this was commented on by many of our guests. The preparation of the reception room was unbelievable, in our video you can see our guests saying how lovely, beautiful and "wow" the room looked as they walked in. There was no stone unturned and nothing that was too much to ask of the staff, including the owners who played a part in our wedding, which only reflects again the personal touch that the Broadhaven Bay offers. Even after our wedding day, the staff were really helpful and friendly, always around and ensuring that we and our guests were looked after and that everything was ok. When our guests were leaving I found myself walking them to the door because I felt so at home at the hotel!!! If you are considering the Broadhaven Bay as a potential venue for your wedding, then look no further because this hotel will not dissappoint you. We are going back to Belmullet in January and I'm really looking forward to going to the Broadhaven Bay and to say hello to everyone that helped to make our amazing day so amazing.

Nothing was too much trouble- highlights included a champagne picnic at the beach, a birthday cake for my cousin's son on the next morning and breakfast for family members who had brought their camper van, free of charge!! At our after party the following night, the stories of the fantastic service received by the guests kept on coming- everyone was so amazed at their experience at the hotel. parties. We wanted a civil ceremony and as the Broadhaven is a registered venue, we were able to have our wedding ceremony at the hotel as well as our reception. David made the whole experience stress free and enjoyable. He and his team are clearly well organised and experienced in the business and this showed through at every stage of the day. There was always someone there to take care of every little detail on our special day. Our reception room was beautifully laid out, the food was superb, service on the day second to none. These guys thought of everything!
