We recently celebrated our wedding at Castle Oaks House Hotel, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, the venue had a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the beautiful surroundings made for the perfect backdrop for our big day.

was the exceptional staff. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. They were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire process—from the initial planning stages to the last song of the night. Our guests kept commenting on how amazing and professional the staff were, which made the day even more memorable.

The venue itself is stunning, with gorgeous event spaces and lovely outdoor areas that were perfect for photos. The food was also fantastic, and the service was top-notch. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our special day, and we are so grateful to the team at Castle Oaks House Hotel for making it all come together.

From our first visit to Castle Oaks to view the hotel and the warm welcome we received we knew this was the venue we would choose. Martina the wedding coordinator was just fantastic, always available to answer questions and very accommodating to us and she made everything we talked about come to life. Enough good things can't be said about the staff, they are simply amazing. Every time we went out to visit the hotel we were met with a cup of tea and someone was always on hand to offer our little boy some pictures to colour to keep him entertained. They couldn't have done any more for us. We will be forever grateful to everyone at Castle Oaks for giving us the most memorable day of our lives.

The Castle Oaks team were amazing to deal with when planning and executing our special day. All the wedding planning team went above and beyond in accommodating us and we loved every minute of it.

We had such an amazing wedding day! From the first conversation with Martina up to the wedding day, we had no issue with Castle Oaks.
The food, decorations and all the staff were perfect and I was completely stress-free throughout the whole bridal experience.

Castle Oaks is located within a stunning landscape, making it the perfect place for photos and Mrs RedHead, our photographer, did a stunning job, capturing all those special moments, including the infamous rock scene. We were very lucky with the weather and having all of our photos taken on the grounds meant we could join our guests for the reception outside with the fabulous Treble & Bass entertaining us.
After indulging in delicious canapés and Prosecco under the sun, we then moved inside for our meal. James Sexton (Hiya Entertainment) had us singing and dancing throughout the meal. The food was just to die for. James and the staff at Castle Oaks worked hand in hand to create a fun atmosphere which was important to us. After the meal, House Party kept us on the dance floor before Adam Sexton brought us into the early hours.

We were blessed with a sunny day, so we had our ceremony outside, and the setup arranged by the hotel was beautiful. The staff were amazing to deal with—so friendly and helpful. We had the pleasure of working with Martina, the wedding coordinator, who is truly fantastic at her job. The service provided was outstanding, and the food and drinks were plentiful. Our guests were very happy with the choices available.

The cost was very reasonable compared to other hotels, and you really get great value for money with what is offered. It’s a small hotel, making it an intimate venue. We had the entire hotel booked for our guests, so we had the place to ourselves.

I could not recommend this hotel enough for anyone considering booking it for their special day!

we imagined our day would look. So, the biggest and utmost thank you to Martina and the professional, friendly team.

Our guests were blown away by the venue from top to bottom—the drinks reception, the decor, the food, and the incredibly nice and friendly staff. They couldn’t do enough for us or our guests, especially Maggie and Jacqueline Corcoran. They were so attentive and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciate everything they did for us, especially helping to decorate the most beautiful venue in our eyes.

We had the best time on Saturday, July 20th. We honestly never imagined the day going as smoothly as it did, and that was thanks to the amazing efforts of Theresa and her team that night—ensuring meal times ran perfectly and being so attentive to us and our guests, making sure everyone had enough food and refreshments.

We want to thank Theresa and the staff who worked that night. The biggest thank you from us. Our guests have been raving about how amazing the venue, food, music, and overall ambience of the day were, and that is largely thanks to you and your team’s efforts. accommodate family member's room stays and little niggly things like that which would have been very stressful if not for their help.

Then the day came and wow, the place looked amazing. We got married in April and our guests are still raving about the food from the canapes, to the stunning main meal and then the delicious evening food, leaving all our guests with full bellies.

Martina and her staff were incredible for the little touches, such as not only having "no secco" available for my sister-in-law but also seeking her out to let her know it was there. Also, they had the ingredients available for my husband's favourite cocktail for his big day.

Special mention to Aaron who was an excellent bartender and more than one of my guests recognised not only his helpfulness but how he remembered orders quickly. Josephine was one of the loveliest waiters I’ve met, so warm and friendly. She made excellent recommendations and was just very good at her job.

The hotel itself was as beautiful as ever (even on a rainy day in April) and of course spotlessly clean. It was just a perfect day and Castle Oaks and their amazing grounds and staff played a huge part in that.

We had our wedding in the Castle Oaks House Hotel 19 August 2017. The day honestly could not have gone any better. It was absolutely fantastic.

the wedding and the day after. Everything ran so smoothly. All queries were dealt with professionally, efficiently and in a timely manner. It made our lives so much easier and we were able to enjoy the day. Secondly, we would like to thank Irene. She put us at ease and dealt with everything superbly.
Additionally, there are perfect opportunities to take lots of nice photos both on the grounds of the hotel and down by the river. There is also a lovely walk down by the river. Overall, all the staff in the Castle Oaks were a pleasure to deal with. The bedrooms are amazing, very spacious and comfortable. The food is also fantastic. Again, we would like to thank the Castle Oaks for everything.

happy we were on the day. The whole process of planning our big day, from the viewing and the tastings to the table planning and personal touches Liam suggested for our day we cannot recommend Castle Oaks Hotel enough. The whole day and evening was fun, relaxed and seamless. I would also like to thank Patrick who showed my grandmother and mother around on a visit to the hotel before the wedding. Thanks also to Irenee with the smooth running of the room allocations.
I would also like to especially mention Liam who was an amazing help leading up to and on the day. Thank you so much for all the tips and tricks along the way, especially for the personal touches, our guests loved the photos of us on the mantel. BTW the chicken salad was a definite winner on the day. We are still getting so many compliments on the reception and service so we just want to finish up by again saying thank you and that we will definitely be back! Can we do it all again?!

We were so well taken care of. Liam couldn't have done more. We had such a brilliant day! We're still getting compliments on the food. We loved that all of our guests could stay in the hotel and that the venue was exclusively ours for the evening. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Castle Oaks staff were incredibly pleasant to deal with and on the day pulled out all the stops. Key piece of advise is not to panic, the hotel will have everything under control and are very professional.

grateful to them for putting my mind at ease in that stressful time period, which really speaks to their experience and professionalism. The day itself was amazing - what a beautiful backdrop to get married in, no matter what time of year. With an open fire place, exquisite decor and luxurious carpets, our guests settled in for a mulled wine reception. The Castle Oaks catered easily to our civil ceremony before turning the room around for the meal, which was probably the best I have ever had at a wedding. Everyone complimented the quality of food and nobody could say they went hungry! I cannot recommend highly enough and look forward to visiting again!
