Nestled in 220 acres of mature landscape, the manor house is indeed the heart of this unique resort, having been restored and extended to offer perfectly styled accommodation, an award-winning Restaurant, a Spa and Leisure Centre, as well as an 18 hole inland links-style Golf course.

Castlemartyr Resort can cater for weddings of up to 200 in the Capel Suite.

The Capel Suite is unlike any other ballroom in Ireland…. With its floor to ceiling windows, giant chandeliers, mood lighting and magnificent drapes, the Suite is a magical setting for your wedding celebration.

Castlemartyr Resort is an HSE registered venue for Civil Ceremonies and is the perfect location to celebrate your Civil Partnership. Other smaller rooms are also available so that your celebration is tailor-made just for you.

staff and their service. From the moment we booked with Castlemartyr, we have been treated with the utmost respect and been accommodated at all times, even after two date changes due to Covid 19. Details were carefully considered and we were contacted any time if there was a query. Jackie has been amazing at getting back to us and ensuring it was such an easy process, especially when we do not live in Ireland. When we arrived ahead of the wedding, we were treated like royalty and that we were so special all throughout our stay. The whole wedding day was flawless and I would not change a thing, and that was a credit to all of the staff at Castlemartyr. Even the days after when we were at the hotel, with other weddings happening, we were still treated like we were the most important people, which made our time there even better. Every guest commented on how amazing the food was too, a lot even said it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Castlemartyr will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and we are already planning our next time there.

As a wedding photographer myself, it’s so important to me that my own wedding be a stand out event. Castlemartyr made my dreams come true. I felt so welcome and cared for as a bride and a guest. The rooms we booked were a huge hit among our guests and ourselves. The extra mile was given to us, even though our wedding was quite small. Everyone was so amazing and our photos came out beautifully thanks to the gorgeous property. We will be loyal customers for life! The memories we have of this romantic day and perfect hotel are literally priceless.

We wanted to take this opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation to all the resort staff who helped make our stay and wedding such a wonderful experience for us and for our wedding guests. In particular, we want to say thank you to Sakshi for all her help and advice in planning the ceremony and reception. On the day of the wedding, everything went well and the quality of the service and food etc. was first class. Sakshi worked with our wedding planner to ensure everything went smoothly. We, and all of our guests, including our wedding planner, were so impressed with the setting and service provided by Castlemartyr.

We also want to say a big thank you to Anetta who took such good care of us while staying in the Orchard Lodges. She really spoiled us with the level of service and attention to detail. Annetta was warm and friendly from the time we arrived and continued to check in with us the whole time we were there. It’s not often that one comes across a hotel staff member who is so responsive and welcoming. If you have a staff recognition program, we would like to nominate Anetta for being such a great representative for the hotel in providing a service that not only met but exceeded our expectations.

We were also impressed that staff we hadn’t dealt with recognised us and congratulated us on our wedding. Everyone we dealt with at Castlemartyr was so welcoming and helpful.

Thank you again for making our stay, and especially our wedding day, so memorable and special.

We look forward to returning to Castlemartyr Resort, which after our recent stay, is now an extra special place for us when we visit Ireland.
