perfection. Our wedding coordinator, Laura, was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect. She was always available to answer our questions and made the planning process so much easier.

The food was absolutely delicious and our guests couldn't stop talking about it and Michael made sure every moment ran smoothly throughout the night. The drinks were also fantastic and the bar staff were always on hand to make sure that everyone had what they needed. The staff especially made sure my dad, who has quite a few needs, felt comfortable throughout the whole day and that meant everything to us.

The venue itself is stunning and made for the perfect backdrop to our special day. The reception was beautiful and the room was even more amazing. The canapés, strawberries, biscuits and drinks at the reception were perfect and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The hotel rooms were also fantastic and our guests loved staying there.

Overall, we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Clayton Whites Hotel to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue. The staff, food, and venue were all absolutely amazing, and we will always cherish the memories of our special day at Clayton Whites Hotel.

From start to finish, Claytons were exceptional. We first arranged a meeting with Pauline and instantly loved her. We spent a year in total looking for the “right venue”. We had it narrowed down to three hotels. After meeting Pauline, she made our decision very easy.

to it, the hotel was very accommodating on any requests we had. No job was too big. The week of the wedding we popped into the hotel to drop off the last few things. Here, we met with the general manager,…… He was equally as polite as Pauline and very helpful.

On the day – we were running a bit late however the hotel handled it very well. The food was unbelievable, our guests are still complimenting it. There was loads of extra meat, potato and veg served after the mains which was a really nice touch. Everything I wanted displayed, was. Any requests I had was seen to. On the day the staff were excellent, and I couldn’t fault any of them.

Claytons overall were a pleasure to deal with. They made my planning as easy as they could have, they were very accommodating and made our day extra special. I would 100% recommend having your wedding in Claytons. I know my family and friends would too after their experience.

arrived, we were treated like royalty. Every girl dreams of being a princess for a day! Music on our arrival was perfect.
The courtyard is gorgeous and was really a factor in choosing the venue - a lovely area to mingle.
The meal was outstanding and drew comments from all our guests - the service quick and top class.
The room itself was perfect for the large crowd and looked fabulous- no long delay in changing over for evening entertainment either!! Many of our guests hadn't been to Wexford or the Clayton before and were all delighted with the quality of the hotel facilities as well as the central location - though it has to be said the courtyard and reception areas are so spacious you would never know you were in the middle of town.

Stepping back a few months the idea of planning a wedding was daunting- Pauline made it totally stress-free.

We can't thank Pauline and the rest of the team enough for making our day so special- faultless!!

take a call and gave us so many great tips to a point where I feel I'd have been lost without them. Even though they deal with tons of bride's and grooms day in and day out I always felt like we were special, like we were important, all the staff were so genuinely thrilled for us and it was so lovely.

The run up to the day and the day itself went off without a hitch. We were married in the civil ceremony room which was beautifully decorated, it took my breath away how the room looked on the day. So much time and effort was clearly put into it.

The hotel supplied so much of the decor that we barely even needed to bring anything to add. You just have to show up on the day and they do the rest.

The food was to die for, every single one of my guests complimented the food, it's so important to have good food at a wedding and Clayton Whites did not disappoint.

I felt like royalty the moment I walked through the door the day before my wedding we couldn't have asked for a better day and I truly believe that is down to the hard work and dedication from all the staff at this hotel. I would highly recommend anyone to get married here it was the best day of my life.

check-ins with Pauline to put us at ease, and then we were in excellent hands with Billy and Michael on the day. They kept everything running like clockwork and even in the moments where they probably were getting impatient with us, the bride and groom, for yapping away to people and not coming back to the dinner table, they still ensured that we felt completely comfortable! They kept a nervous jittery bride relaxed with their calm but efficient manner! Everyone from the bar staff to waiting staff were very professional, the food was excellent and the decoration and venue presentation was also fabulous.

Being from Wexford, the bride had attended weddings and functions in lots of other local hotels over the years but never whites. So we had no other weddings to compare ours to, but our expectations and hopes of the wedding were high. It ended up being everything we'd hoped for and more. The day itself and the service we received from this beautiful hotel surpassed all of those expectations.

Also, our family were all looked after so well in the days before and after the wedding and the simple extra details and attention went a long way. We would highly recommend this hotel as a perfect choice for your special day.

The meal itself was divine and I couldn't fault any part of it, my guests are still raving about how tasty everything was!
I only had one disaster on the day, my cakemaker had an accident delivering my wedding cake and also my daughter's birthday cake and they were ruined, thankfully I was none the wiser on the day as the fantastic pastry chef repaired all damage and cakes looked fab which I am so grateful for, they really saved the day.
The management and staff overall were brilliant and the day was better than I could have ever imagined, we didn't stress once about anything and enjoyed every part of it, I would do it all over again if I could.
Waking up in the beautiful bridal suite and looking out at the stunning view over Wexford bridge was the perfect end to such a fabulous day.

vendors for us. She was super friendly and very approachable, making the planning process relaxed and easy. She thought of everything. Michael was great too and met us at our tasting and the chef met us to see if we were happy with our food choices beforehand. The staff were really friendly. The hotel is new and modern with a newly refurbished bridal suite with a great view which we loved. There's a beautiful outdoor quad where arrival drinks are when the weather is good. The food was absolutely flawless on the day as the hotel has its own banqueting kitchen and the food is not reheated. We had a large wedding with 280 guests and the food was produced really quickly so our guests weren't waiting. There was a great choice of decor included in the package too. The hotel provided a fairylight backdrop, chair covers and sashes, coloured uplighting and we chose the candleabras and globe vases as our centrepieces. The hotel has its own candy cart and glassware, we just had to provide the sweets and later in the night Pauline organised for the cart to be used as a Tayto sandwich stand which our guests loved. We wouldn't have thought of it. We were delighted with the deal we got and the service we received. We couldn't fault it and we had a great day and night on our big day. Nothing was too big or too small a request and we'd recommend this venue to anyone.

receiving so we changed to Clayton Whites and we are so happy we did. From the time of booking to the day itself the hotel and their staff could not do enough for us. My bridal party stayed the night before the wedding and we felt like absolute royalty. We used the amazing spa and had a beautiful meal and it was such a lovely relaxed day and night and made the lead up even nicer. The day of the wedding went so smoothly and Pauline was so helpful even organising a bunch of flowers that I had forgotten to get. Every time I turned around their was a staff member checking if we needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble. We had 260 people sit down for our meal and the service was so good. All of our guests commented on how fast they got their food and how beautiful the food was..everybody was offered second and thirds aswel. I have not one complaint about the hotel. We were made to feel so special there and as if our wedding was the most important thing to happen in the hotel. The day before we met the lovely Michael who was also able to put our minds at ease with our pre-wedding jitters. We just had our wedding last month in Clayton Whites Hotel and I could not recommend it highly enough as a venue. The location, food, accommodation and most of all the staff were all fantastic. Pauline and Michael made organising our day easy and stress free.

When we decided after several visits some arranged and some not we decided that Whites was the venue for us. We were assigned a wedding planner Pauline who was our point of contact and helped us any way possible with the preparations for the big day as we were not from the area.

We stayed in the hotel the night before the wedding where Pauline met us again to run through the final preparations making sure we were satisfied with the running order of the day, She like Gary really did go above and beyond.
At the reception the food was outstanding, The large generous portions the service and the non stop pouring of wine kept our guests happy with a number commented about this.

We decided to make a weekend of it and had the BBQ the following evening. The BBQ was a great idea witch allowed us to relax and wind down from the wedding day but still have the wedding buzz.

Myself and Laura would be delighted to recommend Claytons Whites hotel to any couple interested in choosing them as there venue, they really are the all rounder.

the reception to pick up a wedding brochure and the manager on duty sat down with us, he took details of everything we wanted on the day, we had our own suggestions for menu options and he organised for us to come back later that week at a time that suited us to meet Jenny the wedding planner, and also Sean the chef. When we met them Jenny had obviously done her research and read those notes because it felt like she knew us already and picked up seamlessly from where the manager had left off. From that point I knew we had found the perfect venue. We were made to feel so important and such valued customers from the offset, and we could see it wasn't just "another" function to them.
We later dealt with Pauline who was always helpful, always smiling, nothing was ever a problem, no matter how many emails I sent her querying this and querying that. As I travel a lot for work and work long hours because of this Pauline always ensured to meet at a time that suited me even if that meant outside the usual 9 to 5. To me Pauline made me feel like I was her sister or her friend, she shared all the excitement of the build up and she was there on the day to ensure that our arrival to the reception was perfect.
Of course like any big event there were a few hiccups along the way but they were solved quickly and courteously by Michael, Pauline and the team, and they continued to remind us that the day was about us and that what we wanted was of utmost importance.
We have had so much positive feedback regarding the food and I would have no problem in recommending this hotel for a wedding reception, my only regret now is that mine is all over, but I'm sure I'll keep in touch with Pauline

We had a few changes the couple weeks before to table plans and numbers and they had absolutely no problem with this and helped us sort it out. We also had some vegans and vegetarians coming to our wedding and they were very well looked after on the day. With one vegan even ordering the same meal for breakfast the next day. They made us feel very special when we arrived on the big day and everything was perfect.

It has been almost 7 months hence now so memory is short on details but the warm glow of that special day continues to be felt. Every aspect of the day from the tastefully decked out ceremony room with superb views of Wexford town and the harbour to the dining room layout and professional service …

throughout ensured a carefree and joyful experience for all who attended.

Special touches like drinks in the ceremony room, brownies and strawberries in our room afterwards and the cordoned off area in the lounge where we could relax and sing after the meal were greatly appreciated. We also loved the flexibility with menu choices and the quality of the food, its presentation and the subtle and efficient service.

Most significant was our meeting with our event coordinator prior to the big day. Not only were our queries answered and our fears allayed but our vision was expanded and we truly felt that we were in good hands. So it turned out. Perhaps the most useful comment I could make is that whatever was planned was delivered. Our particular needs may have been simple but they received the same level of care and attention as if they were presidential commands. This is what made our special day truly special. Thank you Whites!
