nothing would be a problem and yes, on this you over delivered. The set up of the room and Megan you were so right about the arch. It was perfect, which I think helped provide the perfect ceremony. From this to the garden, the man above played his role and gave us great weather but that aside the garden set up for the drink’s reception was perfect. Our guests were enjoying it so much I don’t think that they wanted to come in from it. The canopies were excellent and plentiful & many guest commented on this by saying “they were out of this world”

Everyone is still talking and raving about the food and the manner in which you managed to serve every single meal hot and perfect to such a large crowd was a credit to your service staff. Thank you so much for looking after Tom in his room, I think he hasn’t eaten since, as he got so much. Thank you for the special treat of bringing the children to get an ice cream, they were delighted. It is all of these little extras you do that we don’t want to go unnoticed. And of course, the famous Headfort Arms seconds, it was a big talking point on Sunday and Theresa was there to keep an eye on everything. I’m sorry Olivia but so many thought she was the real boss including myself the night before when I said “Hello Mrs Duff” which she corrected me on!!

We hope everyone behaved themselves and were respectful to your staff. They are all excellent and we would really like to acknowledge this. They were kept busy, especially the bar staff. I know we went a bit over on the wine and thank you for being so generous to us on this. Our band have said that in all the venues they play they have never ever experienced such hospitality and helpfulness from staff and they have asked us to pass on their gratitude. We hope that our guests now do their bit and pay it forward by bringing return business to your fabulous hotel. I know of one who had already booked in for later in the year before leaving. Also thank you for your lovely gesture today when we popped in for lunch & to Caroline & Sharon for the lovely chat. To each and every one of you and your staff we thank you once again and the Headfort Arms Hotel will always be a special place for us. Many many thanks again to you all.

they could to make all the changes easy and nothing was too much for them. When Jo left Megan took over as our wedding planner and she was outstanding. Any time I needed something she was there to help. Our band cancelled on us and Edel and Megan done everything they could to get a new band (which were AMAZING). Everyone at the wedding was so well looked after and the food was excellent.
I honestly couldn’t recommend the hotel enough from start to finish they were so helpful and welcoming and everything was perfect. So from me and Scott thank you all so much.

pleasure to deal with. Both regularly checked in with me to ensure everything was running smoothly and according to plan. Between the two of them they organised everything for us so it was completely stress free. I had trouble trying to find a makeup artist and hairdresser as I didn't have a bridal party. Megan arranged this for me and also for both of them to come to the hotel on the day of the wedding. She was also amazing on the day of the wedding too and nothing was too much trouble for her. She sent me a lovely text message on the morning of the ceremony and she also calmed my nerves which set in just before the ceremony. She is extremely professional and has a lovely bubbly personality. She was on hand from early on in the day to very late that evening. I was shocked to see her in early again the next morning and helping to serve breakfast. You can clearly see how hard she works and she is an absolute credit to the hotel. The hotel is extremely lucky to have her and all the other amazing staff. We couldn't fault any of them.
The ceremony was also held in the hotel and the room was so beautifully decorated. We had hoped to have our wedding ceremony and reception in the beautiful gardens of the hotel but unfortunately the weather let us down. The effort that went into making the room so perfect made up for the disappointment of the typical unpredictable Irish weather! We also managed to get a few professional photographs taken in the lovely gardens in between the rain.
The service and food were just outstanding. I had been told that it was a great hotel for a wedding venue and the food was fabulous which I can definitely vouch for.

From the beginning, they were a pleasure to deal with. Our original date was in July 2020 and due to Covid we had to postpone twice and both times the girls were so helpful in arranging our new dates. Our wedding coordinator was Megan, who was so helpful and professional at all times. As our date got closer, some issues arose and nothing was a problem for Megan, she came up with different ideas to still make our day as special as possible. When we arrived at The Headfort on the day of our wedding both Olivia and Megan were there to greet us and we were made feel so special. We had our photos taken in the beautiful Headfort garden and the Kenlis suite looked amazing. The food was excellent, as always, and the staff on the day were so friendly and helpful. If it's quality food and service you are looking for, at a beautifully decorated venue with a homely feel, we highly recommend The Headfort Arms Hotel.

truly felt at the Headfort Arms and does not disappear, even after the wedding is over. We got the pleasure of experiencing two wedding coordinators, as with Covid restrictions we had a small wedding and then a bigger celebration on our 1st anniversary and both were a pleasure to work with. Edel is like a fairy godmother who looks after everything effortlessly, nothing is too big or too small. Her attention to detail makes you truly feel at ease. Megan is so genuinely happy and excited for you as a couple to have the best day of your life, she puts all that passion into creating a lovely feeling for the day and makes sure each and every one of our guests are well looked after.

Both coordinators pulled out all the stops to make the day perfect for us and looked after all our needs on a personal basis. They cater for your packages so it is uniquely yours and are like a friend throughout the process.In a time that was harder than most, with new challenges every week, the entire staff, including the Duff family & Megan, kept us up to date through all the stages to reassure us and offer alternative ways to make our day special.

The hotel looked amazing on both occasions and really felt personalized to us. We were treated like royalty for the entire time we were there, as were our guests. The food is 5 stars and all locally sourced from the Boyne Valley You can see that their passion for quality produce really shines through in their food, which was outstanding for all dietary requirements, including vegetarian and vegan. There were lovely surprises throughout the day from the hotel, that shows how much they value every guest, and that you are not just one of many.

wedding planner Megan! Megan was my sidekick and helped me with everything from start to finish, she was just incredible and went above and beyond for us.

Getting married during covid was not easy, first, we had to cut our numbers a few days before and then we had a lot of people that couldn’t attend our big day including some of our suppliers. When we came out of our ceremony we were told our band had also just cancelled on us but before we even had time to panic Megan and the team had already organised another band which were absolutely amazing!!
I cannot thank Megan enough for all she did for us, everything we needed or wanted was never a problem. She is a credit to the Headfort.

The staff were so helpful and so friendly, not just to us but to all of our guests on the day aswell.

sure all our guests had a room, she is also amazing. The set-up of the ceremony was absolutely fantastic, the service from the waitress and bar staff were top class. We still can’t believe we are nearly 3 months married. We would 100 percent get married again in the Headfort Arms Hotel with the same wedding coordinator and staff. We cannot find a single fault off them.

Megan is such a credit to the Headfort team and we definitely will call in for lunch to have the chats with her. We had the best wedding day because of her.

trying to move suppliers etc but Edel in the Headfort Arms made transitioning to new dates seamless for us and went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Edel was going on maternity leave close to our date so she touched base with us beforehand and ensured us we would be well looked after in her absence, which we were. The amazing Megan took over and from the moment we met her, we knew we could relax in the run-up to the big day as she was so tuned into our plans for the day and knew what our vision was. She made the planning so enjoyable for us and nothing was too big of an ask. We could feel her genuine excitement to be a part of our day also which made it even more special.

The day itself was perfect from start to finish. Luckily we got amazing weather, the garden was dressed beautifully, the prosecco was flowing and the canapes went down a treat. The atmosphere was electric and the team couldn’t do enough for us. The venue itself is truly beautiful and the gardens are out of this world.

Moving onto the dinner, our guests were raving about the food and couldn’t believe the taste and quality as were expecting the usual wedding food which can be basic at best. On the day itself, Megan was by our sides exactly what we needed but never intrusive. She went above and beyond and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. It was the little details like a text message on the morning of the wedding (and from Edel too while off on maternity leave, just so nice). The level of care that you just don’t expect these days and I was so emotional in a good way because of this.

We had a two day celebration and had a BBQ with a DJ on the second day and again Megan and all the staff at the adjoining Keltic bar went above and beyond for us. The food was beautiful and our guests were raving about this too.

The whole weekend had such a personable feel to it, all of the staff treated us and our guests like family and it didn’t go unnoticed. The hotel itself is beautiful and oozing with the atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great wedding venue. The attention and level of care are amazing and you won’t regret it. My husband and I are already looking forward to visiting on our first anniversary

wedding they had ever had. We got married the day the country came to a stand still with blizzards of snow and with storm Emma hammering the country. We knew we would not get through the country roads to get to our church so the the hotel quickly stepped in to arrange our beautiful ceremony with a stunning backdrop of snow. All the staff went above and beyond to get to work by any means necessary, even though the country was told to stay at home and stay indoors. The wedding coordinators Edel and Joanne, kept me calm and relaxed all day as we waited to see if our guests would make it to us. They made decisions behind the scenes to save us worrying, it felt like they scooped us up and landed us in our fairytale wedding because even though the day started with us losing our church wedding, hairdresser, makeup artist, church singer, some of our guests and our wedding band, we ended up having the best day of our lives, one hell of a party and a day that our guests still talk about every time we meet them. I know one thing for sure, if we had booked our wedding elsewhere we would not have gotten married on 2nd March 2018 because it would have been too much trouble. The Headfort Arms cared too much to let that day beat us and because of them we have the most magical, outstanding, impeccable and loving memories of our wedding day.

We met Edel our wedding coordinator a couple of months later, she was just amazing. The week of the wedding we met Edel to drop off all themed stuff and she help Invision were to put everything. I left that to Edel because I could see she had a vision. The night before the wedding Edel sent me pictures and a video of the room done up. It was exactly what we wanted and more there was tears of happiness. Edels attention to detail and vision I could not fault. Anything we asked nothing was too much and also Edel threw in some extras.
The day of the wedding was just magical and more then we could have asked for. We really felt like royalty. We were looked after by Jo and Olivia for the day. Everybody was so impressed by the service and the food. Alot of people said that they felt very relaxed in the atmosphere of the headfort arms even when eating their meal it wasn't rushed.
Our wedding at the headfort arms was truly amazing we will never forget the hospitality and kindness that was shown to us every time we called into the headfort arms. The headfort arms is more then a hotel because its family run it's a very warm homely feel to it and that's how we felt. If we could do it all again we would and we would choose the headfort arms everytime. I could write more but I'm running out of letters!

Our wedding co-coordinator Edel was so helpful every step of the way, advising us on different elements and things we never thought of. We went with the package deal which was unbelievable, Edel organised the suppliers and it took a huge stress off.
All our guests had a brilliant day and raved about the amazing food. The menu was so flexible for all guests, and we were so confident in the food which was a huge stress off our minds.
The venue was perfect with the lovely big garden out the back, which allowed us to have our photographs taken there which saved so much time and we could greet our guests for longer which was great.
I can't say it enough, the amazing day we had, from the food, the venue, suppliers and most of all the friendly and very obliging staff. If i was to do it all again I wouldn't look anywhere else. This hotel is top class and the food is top quality and I will be a regular customer to the restaurant.

a look aswell as both sets of parents straight away it was the one for me , from the moment we got there we were treated so well from each and every staff they were so polite and welcoming . Going through the packages Edel , the wedding coordinator really helped us to pick our package and tweak what needed to be done , she was beyond helpful through out the build up , my mother became ill and it was very stressful time , and I received so much help from the staff , they really gave 110% to help me with everything . I decided I wanted to do my own top table design which was no problem I sent a picture of how I liked it and left the stuff there the night before when I arrived everything was placed out correctly. The day went perfect for us and was amazing , the hotel gave 110% to make the day so fantastic between the food & service of the food it was amazing !! Every single person had complimented how amazing the venue was I’m so happy we choose there ! We went back for a night stay and a meal for our anniversary and my parents came to join we were amazed at how staff could still remember us and everything and how they were beyond welcoming again , a lot of family members have commented on how it’s the best venue they had ever been at ! I owe a massive thank you for everything they done I cannot credit them enough it’s 5 star rating for me !

If I could do it all again I would and without a doubt I picked the best hotel in Meath. Every year we return to the hotel for our anniversary and it never lets us down. We're greeted with a warm welcome at reception each time. In fact the hotel staff are some of the nicest staff we've come across on our travels and they always make us feel at home; in special Edel, our wedding coordinator, who made our whole experience feel very unique and special for us. Headfort. Throughout the process I felt like Edel was our personal wedding planner nothing was 2 much trouble & her advice was second to none. The planning of the wedding was made so much easier and i actually didn't find it half as stressful as I thought I would and I know this is down to the help from the headford. I actually felt like I had my very own wedding planner. Edel went out on maternity leave and Joanne took over. Joanne was so down to earth, friendly and so helpful. I could email or whatsapp any time over any query and the responses were so fast. The wedding day was like how I always imagined it would be. I felt so special. Dave my husband and all our family and friends said it was absolute amazing. Myself and Dave felt really looked after. All our guests were praising the food and the amount of food they got!!! They thought is was gorgeous and they had a super day from start to finish. I highly recommend the headford to anyone planning a wedding. You cant go wrong. I cant imagine having a wedding in a better place!

really mattered to her, almost more than it mattered to us!! You truly feel the meaning and worth of the idea of a 'family run' hotel!! She was beautiful inside and out and we along with other family members feel like we have a life long friend in Joanne!! The food on the wedding day - WOW!!! So much and so so so delicious. Everyone was talking about it and still 2 almost 2 years on!! The venue was perfect, clean, nicely arranged and really pretty - especially the little garden outside. This Hotel is a hidden gem that can make you wedding dreams a reality!! Just perfect!! :)

Despite her being very busy, she still took the time to e-mail me the day before the wedding to make sure everything was in place and to ask if there was anything else she could help with!
The hotel itself was a mirror of Joanne's personality. Incredibly warm, friendly, professional and accommodating. Guests were struck by the friendliness of the staff and the food was amazing. This particular wedding is still talked about amongst family and friends and for good reason. It was so much fun, chiefly due to the relaxed atmosphere and ultra helpful staff at the Headfort Arms. was delicious and made it difficult to choose as they were all so good. Compliments to the chef! I had my make up done in the Hotel's own "Spa Rooms" I was delighted with how the girls did my make up they were a pleasure to work with and were great at helping with calming the nerves. Joanne and the team were an absolute pleasure to work with, they all made the day run so smoothly and their attention to detail is outstanding. The team went above and beyond for us from running cables to have a sporting event shown to the guests during the reception and conjuring up a buttonhole for a surprise member of the wedding party at the last minute. The reception team were so accommodating & took great care of all our guests. The bar staff and porters were also brilliant, there was no waiting around and they were so pleasant to all of our guests. The team that waited on us during dinner were excellent, everybody had a smile on their face and no request was too much for them. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony in the garden, all our guests commented that it was the most beautiful ceremony and setting that they ever had been to. We were presented with two beautiful engraved crystal champagne glasses after our ceremony while the amazing bar staff and waiting staff took excellent care of us all during the outdoor drinks reception. The dinner was amazing, all of our guests complimented the food and also the food that was put on for us the following day. The rest of our evening was unforgettable, we couldn't recommend the Headfort Arms hotel enough for any bride and groom looking to enjoy a stress-free day in beautiful surroundings being looked after by such amazing people.

2 years in advance and from that moment Edel and the team were always emailing back and fort to help guide us through everything we needed to know and gave us useful contacts to help make our day an amazing one. When our special day arrived Edel and team were on hand every step of the way, the venue looked amazing much better than I ever could of imagined and they have the most amazing garden for the photo's also, the food was amazing so much so my friends and family are still talking about it especially the fish and chips in cones ( the evening snack)its so simple but made a hugh difference

overall I would give the headfort hotel 5 out 5, from the package to the service we received not only for that one day but through out the whole process, the food was amazing and so are the staff so friendly and welcoming

unfortunately our 2 year old decided he was going to make a fuss right before we sat down to eat and i was panicking about things already being delayed due to one thing and another and was rushing to get in, they all kept me calm and told us not to worry everything was running on time everyone was ready and could wait, we forgot our son's wipes so they offered to buy some for us to keep us going, they really went the extra mile for us and to ensure we had a great day which we did. everyone has commented on how fantastic the food was and how friendly everyone was too i even had someone say they'd never been offered seconds at a wedding before!!

we can't thank everyone enough for how they treated us and made us feel like part of the family, it poured rain the whole day of our wedding but i didn't notice in the end after having such a wonderful stress free reception. thanks again to all the wonderful staff and especially edel and olivia.
