Here at The Hillgrove Hotel we can cater for intimate gatherings or more lavish affairs as each couples day is unique to them. Catering for numbers from 10 to 360, each of the hotel’s opulent banqueting suites are luxuriously decorated each with their own private bar and facilities. The elegant da'Vinci Suite and Rembrandt Suite offer a stunning classical look. The spectacular Van Gogh and Picasso Suite can cater for 360 guests with a modern and contempory style.

The Hillgrove Hotel Monaghan is fully licensed to host Civil Ceremonies. The Ceremonies are conducted in a Suite of your choice with various wedding themes available.

We had such a fabulous time for our wedding on the 4th September, I seriously can not recommend this hotel enough! We originally booked our wedding for May and had to reschedule to September due to COVID-19. The hotel and staff were beyond accommodating and helpful.

was absolutely amazing. Mary, Enda and the staff couldn't have done more to ensure that we had the best day ever, which we absolutely did! The wedding packages are fantastic value and the food and service was something else. The function room is just stunning, everyone commented on it. Special thanks to Breda and Sharon for their help in booking all the rooms, liaising with us and reassuring us throughout lockdown.

Mary - you were such a pleasure to deal with and we knew that our wedding would be in good hands from our first meeting. Thank you to yourself and Enda for not only ensuring our day ran smoothly but for really going above and beyond!

Although our wedding wasn't the day or date we originally planned, it was still every bit as magical. The Van Gogh suite is just stunning, and especially in the times we find ourselves in, its space and its recently renovated interior still creates the most gorgeous setting. It also has its own private reception area which was always on my must list - particularly suited to COVID times. The room, the hotel garden and the stunning Cathedral across the road mean you won't be short of amazing photo opportunities

Excellent food. Service highly recommended. This venue went above and beyond for our special day

I cannot recommend the Hillgrove hotel enough. They were a dream to work with on the lead up to our wedding especially when we had to postpone. Nothing was too much for them. The day itself was perfect. Mary pulled out all the stops and all our guests were so impressed. If we had to do it all over …

We recently had our wedding in the Hillgrove Hotel, which we had been planning for nearly 3 years. So when Covid happened, like many brides and grooms, myself and my husband started to get anxious about all that was going on. We originally had a guest list of 200 people and having to cut that down …

to 50 was really hard but Mary worked with us throughout. She reassured us continuously that we would have the most amazing day!

And, that is exactly what we had!

We honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. Mary and Enda, on the day, couldn't have done enough for us. They were brilliant and such lovely people. The service and food was first class. Our quests keep talking about how beautiful the food was. I never once felt like our wedding was small. We had our family and a handful of friends and I wouldn't change it for the world. ❤️
