The Lough Rea Hotel and Spa is one of the most highly recommended and well known wedding venues in Galway. Situated just outside the quaint town of Loughrea overlooking Loughrea Lake.

A warm welcome awaits you on arrival to the hotel. Guests can now enjoy the newest addition to the hotel, The Roof Top Garden Bar and sky lounge, which boasts panoramic views of Loughrea Lake and the Galway Country side. The Roof Top Garden is also the perfect place to have a family BBQ the day after your wedding while you relax and unwind on your first day together as a married couple.

The De Dannan Suite is the hotels beautiful ballroom with its own bar. This newly refurbished room boasts Murano glass chandeliers, luxurious velvet drapery, and interchangeable lighting to suit the theme of our wedding. Banqueting tables are dressed in crisp white linen and chiavari chairs.

I can assure you that Nicole, Damien, Aoife and all the staff of Loughrea Hotel made sure that our long wish list for our wedding was met. Each and every one of them met us upon request, listen attentively to what we wanted and ensured to help us unfold the wedding of our dreams. Not once were we told that any request was too much, instead we were asked exactly what we wanted, how we invisiond it and we were constantly contacted in the planning process. Our wedding was a dream come true for us but the memorable day and night was and still is spoken about by our friends and family who attended. The food was cooked, presented and tasted exactly to the high standard we requested. The decor was second to none, our magical winter theme was carried throughout the hotel and a vision we will always cherish and remember. The staff of Loughrea Hotel are the best in the business and know exactly how to create a dream wedding suited to each couple. There was not one stone left unturned and there wasn't one thing we could fault! We sat over 260 guests but this didn't cause any issues in relation to standard,timing or temperature or food served to each table. I myself can admit I was very particular with numerous requests and details I desired for our big day and still almost a year on I can say that Loughrea Hotel & Spa did not disappoint!
