was imbued with professionalism, yet their lovely personal approach put us and our guests at ease. Stephen guided us masterfully through the more tense moments of the day and made sure we felt relaxed. He also gave great attention to our elderly relatives. The ceremony was unforgettable. The food was outstanding! Every guest mentioned how much they enjoyed it and how blown away they were by its excellence. The bar staff had a lot on their hands with the level of cocktails being ordered but they took it all in their stride and made sure people had a night to remember! We would do it all over again and not change a thing. We loved it all!!

From taking care of our guests before we arrived, for having the foresight to allow a space for us to have a few minutes to ourselves before greeting the guests, to making sure everyone was well looked after at all times. Mark was incredibly patient and accommodating with last minute changes leading up to the day and Stephen co-ordinated everything beautifully on the day itself. Everything went off without a single hitch (at least that we knew of!), which is nothing short of a miracle when it comes to weddings. All in all, it was such a relief to know that the staff at Fitzwilliam knew precisely what they were doing and we didn't have to worry about anything but enjoying our special day. Mark made the organisation of the reception so easy and Stephen and all of the staff were amazing on the day of the reception itself. nothing was too much trouble. it made a huge difference to be confident that Stephen and his staff were running the show in the background while we were mixing with our guests.
The food was exceptional - we had so many compliments - several of our guests said the turbot was the best they ever had.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending 25 Fitzwilliam Place to have a wedding reception (or indeed any other type of event, corporate or social). The staff were totally professional and made everything so easy.
I hope that we will celebrate our first anniversary at Suesey street - covid permitting.

St in early January 2018 to get a feel for the venue for our wedding and from day one we were made feel so special and fell in love with the place. We were introduced to Isabel our events co-ordinator and she basically handled everything for us apart from our own personalised imprint on the wedding. Over the months she kept in touch making sure we were happy with the arrangements as we worked together to bring our special day to reality. We felt at ease with Suesey St's professionalism and care towards their clients and knew this was going to be a special venue for a special day. We attended a pre wedding taster of a variety of delicious dishes and the most amazing selection of wines. The staff during the tester sitting were very attentive and each was specialised in their own field in particular John the general manager, besides his professional approach has a wicked sense of humour and Nicolas the assistant restaurant manager was so knowledgeable in his field and extremely attentive. On the day itself, not only were we taken away by how amazing our wedding venue looked but all 58 of our guests were raving about the ambiance, the food, how comfortable and personal the place felt. Each and every member of staff were professional to the last and the whole evening from start to finish was a complete success. This would not have been possible without the staff of Suesey St. We cannot thank John, Isabel, Nicolas, Alexis and especially Richard and his team enough for making our day truly special.
