Honestly it's hard to put into words how amazing this venue was. It was the very first venue we viewed and I knew the second we walked in it was it. Our first coordinator helped us with all our initial questions and was prompt on replying to all questions and setting us on our countdown journey. …

Claire started and with only a few months to go stepped up in realising our dream day. We wanted a relaxed day, sipping cocktails on the deck and enjoying food, well that's exactly what we got. From the moment we walked in it was perfect, the ceremony setting exactly how I imaging it. The reception was exactly the same the fairy tale dream. The food was absolutely perfect and honestly still spoken about when reminiscing. Every single server, manager all staff were so helpful in making sure everything was done right and that everything was the way we wanted. If I could do it over. there isn't anything I would change, I would highly recommend the Radisson Athlone as a wedding venue.

could have imagined, from the service, the food, the room itself was all just amazing. They staff were just so hands on so helpful that day it really just was smooth sailing. We had a kids table and anytime I looked down there was always a staff member over with them checking seeing if all was OK with them making sure they had enough food juice just playing with them it was just super. Also our kids stayed that night with us and their room in the hotel was amazing and when we asked for them to be near us it was never an issue it was just super. We still have guests say to us about the service of food we had any amount and it was just amazing . The Barr staff had their work cut out for them let me tell ya but they kept all our guests well watered (hehe). To the management team & staff no matter what I asked or looked for it was never an issue, even the day before going down to bring down our stuff going into the venue room and looking at them all working away to make our day so special. They came overseeing did we like it, they were just brilliant. I couldn't fault the guys at the Radisson and I would highly highly recommend it for a venue to any couple looking to celebrate their day with the Radisson Blu Athlone.

manager Claire, is amazing and was so helpful the entire way through and was a pleasure to work with very quick to respond. The price is very affordable, but the location and view seems like it should be worth a lot more. The hotel and staff there went out of their way to meet our needs, and they are on top of everything. Just wonderful in every way. The photo opportunities are plentiful to get amazing shots with a lot of different backgrounds. All and all, my husband and I were very happy with this venue and we recommend it to all of our engaged friends. We couldn’t be happier with how everything went. All our expectations were met also our guests had great time.
