What can we say, from the minute we booked our wedding right up until the wedding day, Jayni and the hotel were absolutely fantastic. They could not have done any more than they did for us. Jayni was an angel to deal with nothing was ever too much trouble for her and any request we had she went …

above and beyond to complete it.
In the build-up to the wedding, the staff were very nice and helpful to deal with. Any of our guests that phoned them for room bookings or had special booking requests, were well taken care of and all requests were looked after. Our guests were well taken care of and full of praise.
On our wedding day, everything was perfect. From the ceremony to the food to the set-up the team did for us, the staff were amazing and they were on hand with everything. The weather on our wedding day was incredible and we were able to have an outdoor ceremony, the set-up was absolutely amazing and more than we could ever ask for.
The food was delicious everyone kept saying how lovely the food was and how unbelievable the whole wedding was. Jayni surprised us with extra Disney signs which were divine and a really nice touch to our wedding.
We can’t thank Jayni enough for all her hard work and dedication and the team for all the work they did to make our day special. We would highly recommend this hotel as they made our day perfect and special to us.

Back in Oct 2021, we started looking for our dream venue to get married …

in and that's when we met the wonderful Joanne. She made us feel like we were the only people in the hotel. The staff and Joanne really went above and beyond for us! We came back a few weeks later to book our dream wedding as they had left such a good impression on us that we kept comparing every venue to them. Throughout the whole experience of the wedding planning, the staff have been so helpful and amazing through it all.

A few months out to our wedding we met the wonderful Jayni, she was one of a kind who would do everything she possibly could to make our dream wedding day come true! She made us feel so relaxed and calm about the whole event and we knew our wedding was in good hands with her! She held onto her promise, we had an amazing day from start to finish and she was there to help out with any problem big or small if they occurred. Every meeting we had with Jayni was always a dream, we would leave even more relaxed as we knew she had everything under control. We are just gutted we didn't get to spend more time with her planning our big day.

Our wedding day was on 14th June 2024. Everyone spoke highly of the food, the service and the hotel. We cannot fault one thing about our Wedding at the Radisson and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for their dream venue this is the place, the grounds are amazing for the photos, the food is out of this world, the staff are very friendly and the wedding team are truly one of the best.

The outdoor ceremony was a great shout by Jayni and our guests said they felt like they were transported to a foreign country for the ceremony and we felt the same.
The food was outstanding and we could not fault a single thing about it. The attention to detail that Jayni has is incredible. From the decor to the little things like matching menus fonts and themes up to our table plan and wedding invitations. When we were viewing venues for our big day, we thought it would be a difficult decision until we went to the Radisson Blu Hotel. The minute we stepped foot in the door, we knew this was it for us. added some personal touches to our menus without us asking. They were so thoughtful and put us at ease throughout the planning process.

The ballroom is magnificent, lovely and spacious and the ambience is incomparable. Due to the size of the ballroom, we didn't have to worry about tables moving for the entertainment and our band were able to set up the morning of the wedding so we could kick off the festivities as soon as dinner was finished. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests still rave about it. The service from all staff on the night was excellent and we felt like royalty all day.

The drinks reception was gorgeous and we were lucky enough to have a sunny day, so our guests enjoyed sitting outside in the sun, listening to the very talented jazz band provided by the Radisson and having drinks in the outside bar. Ditchley House was a fabulous alternative to those wishing to stay indoors and the kids were even provided with a separate playroom with toys, games and puzzles which we know they loved.

I wish we could go back and do it all again, it was the most wonderful day and we have to thank the Radisson so much for all the time, effort and thoughtfulness put into our special day.

The food was sublime the atmosphere was fabulous made even better by Zoe , Ruth and the rest of the staff.
The following day we had a small gathering of 27, it was like a continuation of our wedding. Once again the staff, the food, the care that our guests were given.
The wedding suite is luxurious , spacious and very private.

warm and friendly personality. She couldn't have been more helpful and listened attentively to all of our questions and requests. Our meal tasting was an experience made so special for us by the most amazing staff!
Zoe catered for us by arranging zoom meetings when we couldn't make it to the hotel and always ensured we left each meeting calm and comfortable. She made the entire experience of planning our wedding so easy which for me was so important as the process of planning a wedding is a big undertaking. Zoe is an absolute lady, extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. We felt like she was our friend by the time our wedding came around.

The day of our wedding blew us away! We felt like royalty from the moment we arrived in our wedding car. We knew that the service was exceptional, but when all of our guests commented on the kindness and professionalism from all staff, and are still speaking so highly about everything, from the accommodation, to the food, to the amazing attention to detail shown by staff at the Radisson Blu, it makes us so proud and happy to know that the overall experience from both ourselves, our families and all of our guests, was truly incredible.

Where to begin on how fabulous the Radisson Blu Hotel Little Island were to us.

Upon our first meeting at the hotel, Zoe and the staff were just so friendly, welcoming and so accommodating with our wedding ideas and plans. Nothing was a big issue.

Ruth, Julia and all other staff members were on our wedding day. Our day would not have been the same if it wasn't for the hotel staff, we will never get over the kindness. We were never without anything always made sure our guests had enough. Every detail was accommodated for and I was big into personalised pieces for guests upon arrival/check in and on each table setting but Ruth reassured me it would be no hassle. When I walked in and saw the room set up, it was unbelievable. The food was just amazing our guests are still on about it today, the midnight snacks and tayto sandwiches were a big hit also.

We cannot recommend the Radisson Blu Hotel Little Island enough to couples getting married. The team are just the best at what they do. The location, decor, friendly staff, food, atmosphere around the hotel, the list goes on. We booked during lockdown and we originally booked it on the back of being guests at another wedding previously because the day was just fabulous from start to finish but our own wedding day outdone our expectations and more. It was just the best day.

We have gotten texts from guests to say they have never been at a better wedding and I truly put that down to the staff in the hotel, they set such a good vibe on our wedding day and everyone just had a ball.

It was the best day of our lives and we are forever grateful to Zoe, Ruth, Julia and all at the Radisson Blu Hotel Little Island.

Unfortunately a few months before the wedding, Joanne told us she got a new position in the Radisson so someone else was going to be taking over. I was a bit apprehensive as Joanne was really on the ball but it turned out Zoe the new coordinator was just as good, knew exactly what she was doing, so helpful again. The food tasting was one of the most enjoyable aspects of planning the wedding. We already knew the food was nice but we were blown away by the different options and it made it difficult to settle on a final menu! Not to mention the lovely wine!

Joanne was very calm when it came to last minute government restrictions imposed on our wedding and last minute guest drop-outs due to Covid. We appreciated how she never put us under any pressure and was so understanding when it came to these issues - this really put us at ease.

The day itself went off without a hitch. The food was gorgeous - everybody was raving about it. Joanne constantly checked in with us and other members of the bridal party. On more than one occasion she noted we were "ahead of schedule" - this didn't happen by accident, it was purely due to Joanne's hard work all day.

We opted to take all of our professional photos at the venue as it is gorgeous and it also saved time on the day - the gardens, Ditchley House and the ballroom all looked great. On Joanne's advice, we chose black seat coverings with gold bows at the meal (given it was NYE) and the room looked amazing on the day!

Joanne co-ordinated all of the other suppliers on the day which ensured everything ran smoothly. Our wedding cake was set up beautifully in the ballroom and in line with the NYE theme.

Overall, having our wedding at the Radisson was the best decision and we cannot wait to visit again.

We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel to any couple - in Joanne's capable hands, you are guaranteed that it will be the best day of your life! Thanks for everything - you are an absolute credit to the hotel! xox

make us feel like we were "just another wedding", or a cash cow the way some other hotels did. Instead, we consistently felt that she was genuinely interested in us having the best possible day. And we did!

The food was absolutely outstanding. Our guests are still taking about it! Not only were the portions of the main mean very generous, but the food we arranged for both the drinks reception and later in the evening was very high quality. Everything was fresh and delicious. They also catered for all dietary restrictions any guests had with no issues, and with proper food. Their menu options are hugely varied, and I couldn't see how there wouldn't be something for everyone on there.

Dori and Dora and the rest of the team there on the day were absolute pros. They run the day like a well oiled machine, and again, make you feel like you are the only wedding happening in the world. In fact, every staff member we met was nicer than the last!

The options for customising the room for your reception also make it feel like your day is your day, not the hotels idea of your day.

Joanne was in constant communication with us in the run up to our wedding, and was a brilliant communicator. She told us exactly what they needed from us, and by when. She is absolutely amazing at her job, and the hotel is lucky to have her.

Overall, one of the best decisions we made was to book Radisson Blu. We can't recommend it enough!

The grounds are perfect for photos, and being in the Radisson is a holiday in itself as it is nice and secluded. The breakfast was also a highlight for guests, particularly the children's buffet area. The kids were also whisked away to the children's club on the night of the wedding, which was a bonus. We can't thank Joanne and the team enough for making our wedding weekend so memorable.

She helped me find a new date, rescheduled all the bookings, and even helped me locate a few new suppliers. On the reception date, it was perfect from start to finish!

We had a blessing in the hotel, and the room set up was stunning. We then went onto the reception. We had a scorcher of a day, and were lucky to enjoy the outside reception area, a drinks reception, that seemed endless (no complaints from anyone) and nibbles, that were so good.
The main hall was set up to perfection, and the food from starters to dessert was amazing. Everyone complimented the chef on a great dinner!
I can honestly say thIs hotel is amazing, and if you haven’t picked your venue yet please go meet the lovely Joanne to see it for yourself.

rebook a new date, making an unfortunate situation as easy as possible for us. In the build up to the wedding, Joanne keep in constant contact with us. All of the staff were really obliging and helpful throughout the process, in what was no doubt a difficult time for everyone involved.
On the day of the wedding, all the staff at the hotel were excellent and professional from start to finish. From the finger food upon arrival, the wedding meal and the late night snacks, the food was fantastic. It arrived promptly, which was important to us. Joanne and Dori's attention to detail was second to none. They had our day planned out minute by minute behind the scenes, while at the same time creating a lovely relaxed environment for our guests.

Joanne is a true credit to Radisson Blu. I think she was the initial reason we decided to stay with Radisson over other hotels. Then she introduced us to our function manager, Dori. What a cool and calm character. From helping with wedding tasting to the big day and making sure everything went super smoothly. She is fantastic.

Then the food. Even today we met with a couple who we invited, and they are still raving about the food. It was out of this world. Every plate was consistent with absolutely no complaints at all.

Even looking back on the wedding video, Joanne and Dori were all over it with fixing my dress and all. It is things like that you'd forget until you see it back on video, just how much they did for us.

All of our guests expressed how much they enjoyed the day and the food. People were raving about how nice the food was. Some even said how nice it was "for a wedding", which only reminded us of one of the reasons we chose Radisson Blu, the food! Thanks to Gabi!

I remember hearing horror stories throughout Covid about how some places treated couples, but I have nothing but positive things to say. Every restriction was adhered to for the good of everyone, regardless of what other hotels were doing, and that is just admirable!

I had a lovely experience getting ready in the hotel that morning to arriving back to a magical reception with gorgeous food and drinks served into garden bar accompanied by the talented jazz band. We were guided through the day by Dori and her team looking after all the guests. The food was absolutely amazing, everybody left with very positive compliments to the chef Gabi and crew behind the scenes. The dining room had a lovely ambience with all the elegant candelabras and cherry blossom decorations. The room was so nicely laid out with tables designed to our setting. We also had our 2nd day in the hotel. We enjoyed a lovely barbecue lunch and drinks. We really embraced it as a chance to catch up with all the guests again the following day. Nothing was a bother to her. The Radisson are so lucky to have her.
On our wedding day, she checked on us constantly to make sure everything was good and this just made everything stress free.
We were thinking of Ditchley House for ceremony and meal but because of covid restrictions, Joanne and Dori recommended the function room and this was the best call. We're so happy we trusted them. The room looked magical and better than what we could have imagined.

buying a house the same year! Joanne our wedding planner put me at ease from start to finish. There was no question too silly nor there was nothing I asked that she said no to or they couldn't do it. Joanne was so precise in getting back to me straight away with any query I had or worry I had she made disappear. Dori was absolutely amazing to us in helping us sort out our ballroom,seating arrangements and the running of everything on our day. She took the stress out of our table plan and made it work for us the way we wanted. It was such a relief as we had a big number and felt overwhelmed when it came to our table plan but she was outstanding alongside Joanne with this and made our day be stressfree and flawless on the day. Presemek was our right hand man on the day- and by that I mean litterly our right hand man. From the time we arrived at the hotel to the time we got into bed he was my our sides making sure we were absolutely perfect. The service he provided not only to us but to all of our friends and family was second to none. He was outstanding in every way and made us feel like we were royalty! I honestly cannot say enough about these 3 people and the staff at the hotel. I would hands down recommend this hotel to any couple who are looking for a venue for their wedding. I have been to many weddings as a guest and i nor our friends and family have ever tasted food like theirs, the service from start to finish I have never seen anywhere else nor has our friends and family. We celebrated our Wedding Day in July and from the moment we booked our wedding with Joanne, Shane and the team at the Radisson Blu Hotel team we knew we were in the best hands.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, tucked away down a tree lined lane but just a short drive from our Church and Cork …

City. What sold the venue for us was Ditchley House and that there is just 1 wedding per day so all the focus is on you and your guests.
Ditchley House had a beautiful red carpet entrance where the staff waited for our arrival with Champagne. All our guests were able to enjoy the drinks reception on the amazing croquet lawn. We have beautiful pictures both outside and inside Ditchley, it is ideal if you want to make the most of your time on the day and have your pictures taken there to maximise time with your guests.
The Great Island ballroom is modern and out of this world, it really had the WOW factor when we entered the room to the applause of all our guests. Included were so many extras that finished off the decor such as cherry blossoms and the lighting.
The food is gorgeous, all our guests are still commenting on it to this day and the service was spot on.
We were blown away with all the staff from our initial point of contact, Joanne our Wedding Co-ordinator is such a professional and so approachable with all our queries, she put us at ease from our first meeting and right through to the day.
Dori, Niamh, Bart, Przemek and all the team were just amazing on the day itself and everything flowed so well.
I would recommend the Radisson Blu Cork to anyone thinking of getting married, friends of mine have actually booked it for their own big day after attending ours which I think just says it all.

and queries we had over the 18 months. She bent over backwards to accommodate meetings with us both working shift.
Throughout the whole time she never once pushed us for information (even when we missed deadlines!), she had suggestions and ideas that were amazing and thought of so many little details that I would have completely missed! She is the most excited and cheerful person I have even met and made planning our wedding so easy and enjoyable.

If Joanne was on a much needed break, we dealt with Edel. Edel was also amazing at her job and is a credit to the Radisson team, her knowledge and calm & friendly demeanour meant she was a joy to work with.

On the day of our wedding, the whole team were fantastic. The day flowed so well and you could tell it was from careful planning. Everyone had a smile on their faces and no ask was too great. All my guests complimented on how amazing they all were. A huge special thanks to Seamus who looked after us at the top table, you could not meet a nicer man who is so dedicated to ensuring we had a great day.

The food at both the drinks reception and the meal was fabulous. The guests are still raving about it. The bridal suite is so lovely, we did not want to leave. All of who stayed said they had the best nights sleep!

I hope I have not missed anything out now but to all the staff at the Radisson, thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for giving us the best day of our lives xxx

Joanne and Ciara who we were dealing with were so easy going in the lead up to the day, that it made our planning so much easier. They made great suggestions when we were not sure about certain things. Shane and Pierre on the day were brilliant. From the moment we stepped out of the car they had us laughing, great banter and kept us smiling. Some guests had requested something from the staff at the hotel on the day, they said it was done with no complaints at all. The food was delicious, everyone seemed to be well fed and everyone's desserts were lovely and warm. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We found the Radisson staff helpful at all times, flexible in responding to an extra person showing up on the day to being willing to change the wedding from a planned indoor civil wedding ceremony to an outdoor civil wedding ceremony when the weather proved suitable.

especially if you're lucky enough to get the weather to set up outdoors- the outdoor setup in the garden facing the old house really was a step up and worth the extra fee.The reception being out there worked out great as well, with people able to retire indoors or to the shelter of the parasols if the sun was too much.
The food was spectacular. I cannot recommend this enough - everyone we've spoken to feels like the food was among the best or just the best food they've had at any wedding they've been to. They were also willing to listen to our requests about minor changes to the food (very minor changes, as we felt like the chef did know best). They also had a list of dietary requirements that they were able to meet and no-one was left unhappy. The potato dauphinoise was, without a doubt, the most popular side at the wedding. I could have a meal of just that. The staff were a pleasure to deal with as well. In particular Joanne, the wedding coordinator who helped make sure we kept on track with getting things ready (and was okay with us getting some things a bit last minute...) and Séamus who took care of us for the night, and the wait staff who made sure everyone got their meal in good time and kept the wine glasses flowing.
The BBQ the next day was perfect as well - and they were flexible about what time we could have it at. Having enough rooms for everyone who wanted to stay was also a huge plus, as it meant anyone who desired a room was able to get one, which is a really nice extra at a wedding.

Really couldn't recommend it more for someone planning their wedding.

both of us were sold!! We are so glad we picked the Radisson as our experience on our wedding day was amazing. There is not one thing I could fault. Everywhere looked amazing, all them little touches you add make the place look magical. Every staff member was so friendly and very accommodating not only to us and the bridal party but to every single guest. Every one mentioned how friendly the staff were and we received nothing but compliments about the fantastic service they received from when they were checking in, to the service they got at dinner time right down to when they were checking out. The food was gorgeous and plenty of it as well, we have nothing but all good compliments from ourselves and our guests. We would highly recommend the Radisson to all future couples out there looking for a venue that gives five-star treatment to all with fantastic food and service. straight away I knew we were going to book our wedding here. We had six months to organise ourselves and I can honestly say I did not get stressed at all. Ciara basically said all I needed to do was to turn up on the day !!!! We chose our food after a food tasting that felt like a VIP experience with Dori . We chose lamb and fish and we were blown away with the quality of our dishes. We both enjoy our food. We chose to buy our own wine and this was no problem.
We booked into the hotel the night before the wedding with our 3 kids. I had a massage and felt so relaxed. The kids felt like they were on their holidays watching movies and ordering room service. The morning of the wedding the kids went swimming with their dad (the groom) !! as the girls went to Youghal to get ready. The weather was awful on the day but it made no difference at all as the staff at the Radisson were out with their umbrellas to welcome and help every guest to the pre reception. We had cocktails and scones with a jazz band that were amazing!!!! Then the evening reception began. We has two oval top tables which worked so well. The room looked beautiful. We did not have a wedding cake instead we had a sweet cart! Our waiter was Brian who was fabulous. The staff introduced themselves to each individual table they were serving which made it so personal. The kids were runing around and the staff were so nice to them. The wine was flowing and the food was the best I have ever had at any wedding. The experience could not have been better. We felt it was 5 star quality. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We had our church booked but the minute Emma showed me the civil ceremony room, My husband said we'll there goes the church. He was right it was breath taking, just like a fairy tale. It was so romantic with all the candles, lighting and the personal feel to it. We booked our reception with the radisson blu the following day. Than a couple of months later ciara took over as our wedding Co ordinator. At first I was so nervous as I was one of the most nervous brides I think you would of ever met. Ciara arrange a meeting and after sitting down with ciara for two minutes we just loved her. Ciara was on top of everything. Our wedding menu tasting was amazing and the radisson even made us feel special at this. My father and brother in law are both chefs so I was a bit nervous about them being critical about the food but they thought it was amazing. I would email and get a reply straight away. Ciara would be letting me know what I had to do or get. She was amazing. Than the day came and ciara and the team were waiting for me when I arrived. Helping me out if the car, fixing my veil and dress. Everyone commented on the quality and quantity of the food. Most people said they’ve been to a few other weddings in local Cork Hotels and have come away hungry from the meal. Not so at the Radisson. It was amazing. They ‘prosecco’ reception was also another big hit! People were absolutely thrilled with that. And the function room is fabulous. I would recommend ye to anyone who asked with glowing comments.

When we were getting married we wanted a central location that had a bit of character, a large function room so people wouldn't be squashed, enough space to not have to move people's tables after dinner, a stage setup so that our band could get going straight away, excellent food, plenty of …

bedrooms, friendly, helpful and easy to deal with people and, of course, we wanted it at a good price. Needless to say we thought such a place didn't exist. So we were very surprised when we went to talk to the team in the Radisson Cork to find that they actually delivered all of this plus a few extras. I can't express enough what a pleasure it was to deal with this hotel. From our negotiations on costs and setups to menu tastings, everyone was helpful and accommodating.

We were very particular about the food and asked for a second tasting. The chef listened to our feedback and made effort to ensure we were happy. Our seconf experience was spot on and on the day itself everyone raved about the food.

Prior to the day our coordinator went through all our details and made us feel very confident that all would go well on the day.

The day/night before myself and some friends went to decorate. Again the staff were so helpful and really accommodated us with our cake/wine/decoration deliveries. Everything was on hand and nothing was too much trouble.

On the day itself the staff were super. We felt that we were well taken care of but that also our guests were looked after. Service on the day was great, food was hot and swift. This was particularly challenging given the large crowd. So got so many compliments on the drinks reception, the location, the staff, the food. All in all the entire team from housekeeping to wedding planners were superb. I would highly recommend this hotel as a choice for a large or small wedding. They are exceptional.

We recently got married on the 3rd of October in the hotel. From day one when we first sat down just to enquire about the hotel we were offered great help and advice in a professional yet friendly manor as to how to approach or day which made it all the easier for us.

Leading up to the big day …

the wedding co-ordinator Edita was in contact regularly making sure that we had everything in place, co-ordinating the guest room lists, organising our taster evening and running through the itinerary for the day to make sure all was in order.

On the big day despite the weather being bad the hotel was setup and looking great on our arrival. The old Ditchley house is a great setting for photograph and for arrival. The guests arrived at the hotel through Ditchley house and were greeted by a champagne reception, jazz band and the main reception area decked out for our special day.

The wedding party were greeted at the door by Pierre and Edyta, who throughout the day and into the evening really helped in making for us our occasion a brilliant day. They were both on hand for the entire day to ensure that everything went as planned. Pierre in particular had a great personality and created a great atmosphere at the top table with his professional yet good humoured approach.

The food in particular was delicious from starter to desert, nearly everyone we met afterwards was talking about the quality of the meal, and of course the hotel ensured the wine flowed freely as we requested.

Into the evening and the day continued as well as it had gone up until then. Even with a big crowd there was always enough bar persons present and there was never a long wait at the bar.

In summary I couldn't fault the hotel both in the build up to the big day and on the day. The setting is great and the service matched the setting, the staff in there efforts made the day easy for us at a time when you have so much other planning to do.

The radisson really delivered and we decide to have both our wedding ceremony and our wedding reception there too.

The wedding organiser Amy is sincere, warm and professional. Her follow up work was excellent, anytime we asked a question and she didn't have an immediate answer she followed up with an email within hours.
She guided us through the planning process and invited us to view wedding and civil ceremonies early in the day when everything was setup.

The tasting the food exceed our expectations and we were waited on by the legendary Pierre (aka the loveable French man). He provided us with advice during the tasting and he was also present on our wedding day.

On the run up to the wedding Amy had comprehensive checklists and answered all those last minute questions.

On the morning of the wedding I walked around the 3 rooms for the ceremony, drinks reception and the wedding reception. Everything was as we requested.

Our day went like clockwork and we spend our day having fun and socialising with our guests.

The format of the day was civil wedding ceremony in pre-reception area, drinks reception in ditchley house(including jazz trio provided by hotel), wedding reception and afters in the main room(including candy cart provided by hotel). A late bar was provided in the pre-reception drinks area.

The following day we had a BBQ for lunch for all our guests, again everything was of a high standard.

Based on the our experienced we would highly recommend the radisson blu for your wedding day.

Where do I start with a review of the Radisson Blu for our wedding? We got married on December 20th 2013 and quite simply the hotel could not have done more for us. The planning and prep work was thorough and stress free and when it came to the day the hotel surpassed all expectations.

dealing with the reception were great. Beers were flowing and the staff ensured that guests' glasses were topped up with purse co at all times. The meal was amazing. Each course was served to perfection. The food was cooked to order (steaks to each guest's preference), came out in a timely manner and everyone was raving about the meal afterwards. Pierre the maître D was fantastic. He not only took exceptional care of the top table but also ensure that each table had enough wine. Some guests asked for food that wasn't on the menu and the hotel came up trumps and served what was asked for - very impressive given the kitchen was busy getting 200 meals out.

Other than that we need to get something from a pharmacy during the day for my father and the front desk staff stepped up to the plate. They rang around pharmacies and then arranged a taxi to pick up what we needed and all done with maximum amount of discretion so that I wasn't even aware of this until the next day.

Those were the highlights but the accommodation and decor was fab (particularly due to Christmas season). But above all the hotel staff were just second to none. Each member we came across was better than the previous one and just couldn't do enough for us and out guests.

I can't recommend the Radisson Blu littleisland highly enough. Book your wedding here and you will be guaranteed a day you won't forget.

we would host our drinks reception. The planning process was so easy with the team at the Radisson - nothing was too much trouble and they brought a wealth of experience, knowledge and good advice to what could have been a very daunting experience for us both!
Complimentary menu tasting, complimentary gym membership ( he used!) and spa vouchers ( I used!) all added to excitement leading up the day and were events in their own right in such beautiful surroundings.
The lead up to the wedding was a pleasure with the Radisson team confirming numbers and making last minute changes, at our request, without any hesitation. The day itself was absolutely faultless and a dream come true. From Pierre meeting us at the bottom of the red carpet with champagne to the beautiful photos we got on the huge winding staircase in the charming Ditchley house, it was amazing. The drinks reception on the lawn was fantastic with the pop-up bar doing a roaring trade! The background music during the meal was great with guests commenting on the lovely atmosphere in the room. The meal and menu choice were 5*, with the execution on the night by the team superb- food was served in a timely manner and without fault. All the 'extras' - bathroom baskets, guest book, mid meal entertainment, favours etc- were all dealt with with such professionalism and without issue. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and we felt very well looked after and special. ( The outdoor hot tub in the honeymoon suite along with the champagne breakfast helped the next day too!)
The Radisson Blu in Little Island really was a fantastic venue- it has everything! The contradiction of old and new in the hotel works as a great backdrop and so there is something for everyone! Ditchley house with the amazing interiors, high ceilings and ornate decor contrasts with the huge ball room with modern retro LED 'catwalk' in the Residents bar- great photos taken here!
We would highly recommend the Radisson Blu Little Island for anyone looking for a great venue, great food, fantastic value for money and above all else, a great team who take all the stress out of the planning of your wedding day and see to every little detail - and will fill in anything you at have forgotten with their checklists! this transition was seemless. Cliona was very professional but approachable and friendly at the same time. this was very important to us. She gave us some really great tips that we would have never thought of ourselves. These really added to our day. When looking at the packages the hotel had on offer, we saw they were competitive. We wanted to tailor one of the packages to suit our needs and this was done with no questions asked.

We had several meetings in the hotel and it was clear to us that the staff were taking as much pride our special day as we were. Their attention to detail was impeccable. From the menu tasting to the day after the wedding, everything we wanted was provided for in abundance.

Now to the day itself. The venue was spotlessly clean, the candles were lit , the lawns were cut , the carpets were clean and the floors were polished. The hotel provided an open air reception area for guests with a wonderful jazz band and a mobile bar. Guests are still commenting on such a beautiful area and the atmosphere it created.

From there we along with the quests were invited into the main reception room. This was decorated to our spec. We were delighted with how glamorous it looked on the day. We felt food was very important and that the guests received a fantastic meal. This was definitely achieved. Compliments to the chef and to the waiting staff on the day. Special mention to Bart and Jose who attended to the top table so well.

The hotel is a fantastic wedding venue , but where it excels is it's staff . There were so many of our guests commented on how friendly the staff were it really helped to put an extra special touch on the day for us.

In all honesty all of our expectations were met and exceeded. From the moment we enquired let alone booked we were given the Raddison event co-ordination teams undivided attention, Cliona, Amy and Emma were there at our beck and call. Always on hand to answer whatever new query of the day I had. We had concerns when we were choosing our venue as we were having a small intimate family wedding with 40 guests, Cliona addressed these concerns instantly and had some wonderful ideas and was able to advise us if we were unsure on anything.
Both on the day and prior to the event Cliona and the rest of the events team were so facilitating and helpful. The Chef was so open for any suggestions and willing to personalise the menu to cater for our vegan guests and did they deliver on the day!! I have never been to a wedding where so many, if not all of the guests were raving about the exceptional food and service.
Our champagne and cocktails on arrival and canapes to the spectacular evening food served by the best waiting staff i have ever come across it would be unfair to even limit their qualities to that both Pierre and Hose were so attentive and provided hours of entertainment. only ever needed to pick up the phone to Sinead and be reassured it was brilliant. On the day of the wedding Pierre was our waiter he was outstanding, a total gentleman. We couldn't have imagined somewhere better then the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Little Island to host our celebration. We were very proud to have chosen somewhere our guests felt was so special yet relaxed.

We knew the Radisson was for us from the first day. We were warmly welcomed by Caroline who …

took the time to show us the hotel and answer our questions. The presentation of our options was clear and uncomplicated. This was refreshing considering how complicated organising a wedding can be! As all couples do, we wanted to make sure we were getting the best deal we could. Financial strain and a numbers game are part of every wedding. We won some and we lost some but overall we were extremely satisfied with what we had agreed.

A major factor in helping us decide to choose the Radisson was the function room. It was set up for a wedding later that day. We were wowed and excited to see how elegant the decor was and more importantly impressed to learn that this decor came included as standard.

As time went on decisions needed to be made. Communication between us, Caroline and other staff members was smooth and efficient.

We booked our menu tasting and last minute decided we would also stay the night. We were given a beautiful room and the personalised menu's were a lovely touch.

During the final few days suppliers we had independently booked reassured us they had great success dealing with the hotel in the past. We therefore did not need to liaise between them.

The day itself went off without a hitch. The drinks reception in Ditchley House, the music and use of the garden really set the tone. The meal was absolutely beautiful and the staff were a credit to the hotel.

I couldn't submit this without giving a special mention to Pierre, the French gent who looked after us so well. We still speak fondly of him and every couple should be so lucky to be looked after by him on their special day.

On the day itself, the sun shone so our guests took advantage of the lawn area to the side of the room where the drinks reception was held, while still being able to enjoy the jazz band that played indoors. We could not fault the meal or the staff serving our guests. The reception room is set up in such a way that there are no tables on the dancefloor so once the meal was over our band started straight away.
The honeymoon suite was large and airy with a decked balcony and hottube. Beautiful breakfast including champers was delivered to our door without us having to ask. only downside to it was we didn't get to spend enough time in there to enjoy it fully!!
I would highly recommend the Radisson as a venue for your wedding reception. if you received half of the amount of care and attention we did then you still wouldn't be able to fault them!!

On the wedding day , from the first step we had a very elegant waiter Piere- with his soft french accent which reminded me of romantic french movies. Even a little attention was paid to all the ladies which was so fantastic! In the ladies room there was a FREE make-up beautician, for make ups/touch ups!!! All the ladies were impressed about it ;-) From the first day we saw the hotel restaurant and till now, we are so happy that we choose this hotel! We chose the Radisson in Little Island because not only was it close to home, more importantly it's food was phenomenal. The food was such an important aspect for us and the hotel delivered beyond what we had expected. Three years on guests are still talking about the food.

not make a day and The Radisson made sure that every other aspect met the high standard they had set on the menu. The champagne reception was held in the house part of the hotel and the guests were greeted with a glass and a smile. The jazz band entertained the guests while the photographer made me feel like Maureen O Hara on the sweeping staircase.
Service throughout the day was impeccable. I never once had to ask for anything, it was almost as if the staff were two steps ahead of us all day. They were so attentive to disabled guests that we had without highlighting their special needs. Their subtlety was fabulous and made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed.
In the lead up to the day, Colette and Sinead were fantastic. Helpful with all kinds of advice and tips and they always made me feel as if I was the most important person in the hotel at any moment. I was never made feel like a bridezilla or that any of my questions were ridiculus - even though I know some of them were.
The bridal suite is also fabulous and the hottub on the balcony was a lovely treat on the sunny morning after.
In summary The Radisson was the perfect place for our wedding and we had the most relaxed, pleasureable and amazing day ever and alot of that was down to them.

The food could not have been presented better and again all our guests have commented on how good it was. The food on the day was consistently very good and the staff ensured everyone was fully satisfied.

We could not say a bad word about this perfect and importantly affordable venue. The little gestures, fantastic food and the staff making everyone feel special ensured a memorable occasion for our guests and us.

The Radisson Blu provided us with the best day imaginable, from the first moment we walking into view the hotel the staff gave us their commitment and time, to promote the hotel, the surroundings and what they could offer us on the day. Not only were they professional but also very friendly and …

approachable. We had viewed other hotels but were only shown the reception area and party hall but Radisson Blu really made us feel welcome and that they really wanted to be part of our day. Once we booked with them, they took care of everything, nothing was too big or small for them and they were always willing to take a phone call from us regardless of the query. This really made us feel at ease and that everything from the reception point of the day was well under control.

In the run up to the wedding, we were able to take advantage of the gym and spa treatments they had offered us in the hotel. They also let us take our time with the table plan and menu choices we wanted to make, as they have such a wide variety to choose from. We enjoyed a lovely menu tasting evening in the Radisson so we could sample as much as possible, a few weeks before the day itself.

The option to have three great reception areas available to you is a great choice to have, not many hotels can offer this. We opted for the old house reception area and they put a marque tent in the garden, the flowers we lovely and grass was well cut, they really look after the small details, which makes all the difference. The detail on the tables and the variety of finger food for the guests arriving was amazing. It was such a great experience to have our guests arriving to a old style house with great gardens and surroundings and for them to step into a state of the art, modern hotel for the eveing reception just by going through a door and down a few steps.

With the layout of the main room, they were very helpful and gave us great advice but also took onboard what we wanted ourselves. Between us they helped make the day we had wished for come true. Our guest really were in awh when they walked through the doors.

The staff on the day really made you feel welcome and that the day is all about you, we had our own staff at the top table and they really did go above and beyond for us, there was no request refused from any of our guests. The food at the dinner is still spoken about today as the nicest they have ever had at a wedding. The fact that the bar is located in a different area to the main room is also a big bonus as you don't have the busy shuffling noise that comes with ordering drinks and exchanging money, and just general banter.

Once the meal was over, the room was opened up so the bar became part of it. There was plenty room on the dance floor, without the need to remove any tables due to the great table plan they helped us with, there was no need to disrupt any guest with moving tables and chairs and it allowed the band the start nearly straight away.

The honeymoon suite was incredible, the detail again shown here was superb and there was the added bonus of a heated outdoor Jacuzzi. It was a great feeling being able to step into this after the long day, one of the most memorable times of the day.

The following day, the staff we just as helpful as they were throughout the whole process, there was no pressure on us leaving the hotel by a certain time and they made sure that we were happy with how the day went. To think that they do this on a daily basis is quite remarkable.

I have already recommended others to go to the Radisson Blu, Little Island, and I will continue to do so, it really is the only hotel to think about when choosing a wedding reception. The wedding team is so well structured and professional, they really do take huge pressure off you when it comes to planning the rest of the day.

I am already looking forward to going back there for our first year anniversary.

The reception room was out of this world and we loved the fact that the tables didn't need to be moved for when the band started which happens in most other hotels. At the drinks reception on arrival the complimentary champagne was flowing freely and everybody commented on it.. I personally have never come across staff which were so obliging in all my life. It was like there was a member of staff assigned to myself and my wife to cater to all our needs.. My mother in law, who is a junior minister, and has seen a lot of hotels still comments on how efficient and friendly the staff were.. The food was divine but I think that's a well known fact. I'm not going to name the other hotel we got a quote off but the radisson was seven and a half thousand cheaper at the time and gave us a lot more complimentary stuff.. Including a free stay there and dinner for our 1 year anniversary. In the main room they have movable partition walls so they can cater for big and small weddings.. The atmosphere when the band started was electric and stayed that way for the whole night but to sum up I think what made it for us was the staff.. They really made us feel like royalty and they made our special day the most memorable of our lives and we cannot thank them enough for that...

In the weeks leading up to our wedding we had a beautiful tasting in the hotel where they made it such a special night for us with OUR Wedding menus printed out for us to make us feel like it was the actual day. On the day before the wedding and the day of i think it was our wedding planner and the hotel staff that kept everything calm - no matter what we asked about or asked for their help with they were always helpful and asked us what timings we wanted for each section ( pictures-drinks reception-music-meal-etc etc ) never felt like we had to fit into their schedule they always worked around our day.
All of our guests spoke so highly of the food and the service and how nice everyone was to them , including the next morning when shoes and flowers and room keys were lost , the hotel staff were still there helping out. The hotel itself included a lot of extra decor on the day ( eg the entrance for the bride and groom has lovley trees and plants and the same with the ditchley house section of the hotel it is decorated with such class ) and the food is spectacular and not rushed in any way unlike other wedding venues ive been to. The gardens are perfect for a nice summers evening to be getting pictures or just for your guests to sit and chat in. I couldnt speak highly enough of this hotel and our day we had there. Looking forward to returning for our year anniversary :)

After looking into several other hotels in the east cork area we decided on the Radisson Blu hotel in Little Island.

service level was brilliant - We couldnt find any fault with it. The following morning we met with our wedding co ordinator, Caroline who gave us a tour of the wedding venue and Ditchley house where we would have our drinks reception. From this inital meeting we knew were in safe, competent hands!!
For the next 12 months any requests we had for the hotel were never an issue and Caroline always made time to met with us and discuss any queries we had. Throughout the whole planning experience we always felt like we were getting a personal, professional, one on one service. Everything from organising rooms for guests, planning menus and wine options, drink receptions were all dealt with brilliantly. The experience the Raddison Blu have in planning weddings helped us organise everything!! The Radisson thought of everything - Little touches we hadnt even considered, it was amazing!!
We had many guests staying in the hotel the night before and everyone enjoyed the laid back atmosphere (So i was told as it was night before wedding i wasnt there!!)
On the actual wedding day truly this is where the hotel came into its own once we arrived there was absolutely nothing we had to think about or consider - The whole thing ran so smoothly, there were no issues, the hotel took care of absolutely everything. The pre dinner drinks reception with the bar and music was lovely and relaxing, we got lovely pictures in the gardens and the reception room was decorated beautifully.
We could not praise the Radisson enough for the attention and fantastic service they provided to us on our wedding day. The food was just fantastic, the attention to detail is the key to their success. For example we were having the speeches before the meal and they asked how long did we estimate the speeches may be because as they explained 5 or 10 minutes in the kitchen getting hot food out makes a hell of difference and it shows because all of our guests raved about the quality of food served to them - This is a hotel that does amazing food!!
The following night we organised the bar b q food option for about 35 of our guests, again the hotel came into its own. They had sectioned off an area for us in the bar and the food was brilliant, plenty of it and presented beautifully - Again we cannot over emphasise how good the Radisson is for food!!!
The next day when checking out they had what was left of the wedding cake all wrapped up for us, flowers all tidied up and ready for us to take away - We really felt that the service we got in the Radisson was worth every penny!!
We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel - unfortunately this paragraph does not allow us to go into more detail into what this hotel did for us to make sure our day was memorable and amazing. We would urge anyone looking into wedding venues in the cork area to seriously consider this hotel - They do a fantastic job and you will not be disappointed!!
