put in contact with Joanne. I can’t speak highly enough of Joanne, she took care of all the room bookings for our wedding guests. It was great to have one person to contact about the room bookings and on a number of occasions I had plenty of contact with Joanne, she was so friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I had guests calling me to tell me how lovely Joanne was. Some guests were making the most of our celebration and staying an extra few days, also we had guests arriving from abroad, everyone was taken care of with absolute professionalism and the comfort of the rooms is still being talked about by our guests. With a couple of months to go we were introduced to Eve our wedding coordinator. Eve walked us through all the fine details to the perfect wedding decor, tastings and everything else. We could not have even imagined the work that Eve put into making our day so special. Eve was always just an email or phone call away, no request was too much. On the morning of the wedding, it was Eve and her team that kept everything so very calm. From the team decorating the room to the bar staff, every single person was so very kind to us and our guests. The venue was perfect for us. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. I can’t recommend the Rochestown Park Hotel enough. “We think of everything” they say and we can certainly second that. The Hotel Venue, the Accommodation, the Grounds and Service was incredible.

We had our wedding at the Rochestown Park Hotel on December 18th 2022. From the first moment we walked in and met Eva we knew this was the place to have our wedding. Eva is so friendly and down to earth. She took the time to go through all our options and offer suggestions on what would work best …

for us. The communication throughout the year in the run up to our day was excellent, so reassuring. Any time we met her we were also offered a complementary lunch in Suttons bar which was unnecessary but made us feel special.

Colm took over as our wedding co-ordinator in the few weeks coming up to the day. He is such a pleasure to deal with. Again, easy to talk to and nothing was ever an issue. He is meticulous with detail and ensured he captured everything we were hoping for on the day and even let me steal one of his Christmas trees to use to hang our table plan! We had a cocktail reception as part of our package and I asked if it would be possible to do mulled wine as it was Christmas time and it was no problem at all. Honestly I cannot stress it enough when I say nothing is an issue for these guys.

We got married in the Kiltegan room. We had viewed the room a number of times in the run up to the day and it’s a marvellous room but my God when I walked in there with my Dad to walk up the aisle it honestly took my breath away. One of the guests commented that “it was like a winter wonderland”.

The staff are amazing. They were everywhere on the day. The service was exceptional, and the food was fabulous. Everyone is still talking about how great the food was and the amount of it they got. We have had so many comments about how generous we were and that is down to the hotel.

I would advise anyone considering having a wedding here not to think twice. For what the hotel can offer in terms of service, quality of food and a genuine desire to exceed expectations, you will not find better.

the day itself was so far from stressful! Every email or call we made was always followed up so quickly and we never had to worry about the small things or the big!

To the day itself.. we were blessed with the weather and lucky enough to have the ceremony outdoors in the hotels stunning gardens. It was everything and more we could have imagined. From the drinks reception to the meal every guest agreed this was the best wedding they had been to! The food was plentiful, roasting hot and so tasty! Also have to mention the fantastic bar and waiting staff who provided such efficient service and ensured everything was done to our time plan before the music began! The drinks were constantly flowing and there was such a good atmosphere in the room, special thanks to Mary the most amazing waitress who had the guests laughing all night, she is a real credit to the hotel!

All in all we really did have the best day imaginable and this was all made possible thanks to the staff and venue at Rochestown Park Hotel. Eva and Shiby are perfectionists at their jobs and made us both feel our day was as special to them as it was to us!!

We can both safely say that our decision to have our wedding reception at Rochestown made it the special day it was. Right from the start the planning of the day, the accommodating of our wishes and requests, and the food tasting made us feel very welcome and that we had made the right decision. …

This was all handled superbly, and Nino was a credit in the way he handled everything and made us feel like everything was being taken care of.

On the day it was great to see everything going to plan and the running of the event going like clock-work, we didn’t have a single stress all day and were able to enjoy every moment.

The quality of the food was also very impressive, the breakfast and the facilities top-notch, and we didn’t have a single complaint from any of the guests. In fact a few said it was the best wedding they’d been to!

So overall it was a perfect day and we look back on it fondly, and will for years to come! So thank you so much from the both of us, everyone on the day did the team and the hotel proud, and we would definitely recommend you as a venue. Unfortunately we’ll only be having one wedding day!

We would like to sincerely thank Colm for all his hard work in planning and coordinating our day. Rachel for her reassuring pep talk before we were introduced into the dining room. The military style of the waiters and waitresses and the bar staff were all polite and tended to all our guest needs even some guests with dietary requirements were delighted with the service.

Any of the guests that had booked rooms for our wedding were delighted with the room they received and at the wedding rate that they were provided with which included breakfast. Nearer the date we were assigned Sean who would be taking care of us all on our big day. A great manager that went above and beyond for us and was so helpful to our wedding party.
We had our wedding on March 16th the day before St.Patrick's day. I could not fault one thing about the whole weekend.

The food was amazing! Beautiful canapes and home made treats not to mention the outstanding meal at the reception. The breakfast facilities are the best and the full Irish is excellent.
The venue was warm and comfortable and brilliantly laid out. The staff are so friendly and were key to making our special day amazing. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and have amazing showers in the en-suites.We spent 2 nights in the presidential room which is like an apartment with a home cinema. A must see!

The water suite is brilliant and free to all hotel guests.
I must say hat's off to Rochestown Park Hotel for everything they did for us and if you are considering getting married definitely go visit this hotel. You will not be disappointed. Our guests tell us it was the best wedding they were ever at and that is mainly due to our venue and their 5 star service.

The morning of the wedding itself it was so stress free and having breakfast in the bridal suite was a real treat.
Thank you Sean for calling to the room and taking the last few bits. He was so relaxed which made everyone else so relaxed. The weather was the only thing we couldn’t control but it didn’t dampen our spirits.

Everything was perfect, we just felt the day flowed so seamlessly and we got so many compliments about the food and also the service in the function room. We saw how Sean conducted everything during the meal.

them, it was their first time in Cork (or Ireland!) and from their feedback I don't think it will be their last! They all stayed at the hotel for a few nights and all said how lovely everything was - the food, the staff, the leisure facilities and the proximity to Douglas were the main highlights.

Our wedding was managed by Colm, who was very helpful and made sure everything went as planned on the day. As we are currently living in Scotland, much of the organising was done via email or phone calls, with the odd visit to the hotel when we were in Cork.

As has been the case every time we've visited the hotel, the food on the wedding day was fantastic and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The hotel were very accommodating in meeting our requests for the menu (coeliac/vegetarians) and even let us make some changes to the standard offerings to put our own stamp on things, which was a nice touch. There was also a BBQ arranged for the day after the wedding in the outdoor area at Sutton's, and again the food was lovely and everyone enjoyed getting together again in a less formal atmosphere.

The presidential suite is a nice touch for the bride and groom, with plenty of space for guests to come and visit and relax the day after. Overall, everything about the wedding day/weekend was fantastic, and this was helped hugely by the helpfulness of everyone at the hotel. All of the staff we dealt with were wonderful, polite and a credit to the hotel. Hopefully some of the wedding guests will return in the future, but I know for a fact that we will definitely be back the next time we visit the family in Cork!

Thank you so so much for everything yourself and Sean did for us. The day was perfect and everyone praised everything! The food was divine and the room layout perfect. Pass onto your manager that everyone is brilliant and overly accommodating if anything! All the staff were excellent too.

The staff in the hotel were fantastic especially our wedding co coordinator Elaine Cronin. We had been at 2 weddings in the hotel previous to our own and loved the food there.
