We are delighted you are considering the Sligo Park Hotel to celebrate your special day with family and friends. With over Fifty Years of Experience, the management team will make every effort to shape your ideas into the reception you have always dreamed of.

The Sligo Park Suite has been designed with you in mind, with its floor to ceiling windows allowing natural light to flood into the airy, spacious room. The suite is designed to cater for up to 220 guests and together with the skills of our experienced chefs, creates the perfect setting for your special day. For a smaller, more intimate wedding reception, the Mespil suite caters comfortably for up to 80 guests.

The Sligo Park Hotel has designed three unique wedding packages, namely, Classic, Elegant and Romantic. Our wedding packages include items such as chivari chairs, a sumptuous five course meal with wine, arrival and evening reception for all guests aswell as a number of complimentary bedrooms. Additional extras such as sweet cart and postbox are offered complimentary.

We aim to make the planning process as effortless as possible for today’s busy wedding couples.

The Sligo Park appreciate that each wedding is unique. If a couple would like a bespoke package for their wedding, the hotel would be delighted to assist.

We had our Wedding in the Sligo Park Hotel on October 5th 2018.

Our experience from the very beginning was first class, Margaret our wedding planner, was so pleasant and nothing was ever a problem. We got everything we asked for included in our package at an exceptional rate.

tasting night was fantastic, we were treated so well and there would have been enough food and wine for 2 extra people! We got the opportunity to speak to the supervisor and the chef on the night and our waitresses were all so friendly and helpful.

The day of the wedding was amazing. We had absolutely no concerns as we knew Margaret would have everything in order. It was also lovely to see her on the day as she greeted us on arrival to the hotel.
The environment was perfect and everybody was impressed with the gorgeous new interior design.
The meal was fantastic and the food was plentiful, we had great comments from our guests.

I would highly recommend the Sligo Park for any couple getting married in the future.

From the very moment we made contact with Margaret Finnegan in the Sligo Park we knew we were in good hands. We only booked our wedding reception 7 months before our wedding, for most people that would be stressful but we are fairly chilled out, that said Margaret made it all so easy.
We wanted …

something simple, personal and small (about 100 guests) for our special day and also that we could do all in the hotel but not in the same room. Margaret seemed to understand exactly and listened to our ideas and gave us her opinion from her years of experience in the job.
We were able to work out a package that suited us and our guests. All emails and calls were responded to and we always felt confident and at no stage were we stressed.
The menu tasting was fantastic and helped so much. The day before the wedding we dressed our ceremony room and the ballroom and were looked after so well by the staff. Everything went to plan and both rooms looked amazing.
On the morning of the wedding I dropped my dress and other bits up to the hotel and all staff were so kind ( I was getting dressed in the hotel) Margaret was by my side that afternoon till the moment I went in the door to our ceremony.
Everything went to plan, all staff were amazing throughout the day and night and we all had a fantastic day. The food from start to finish was amazing, all guests needs were met including the gluten free, vegan pizza that night. What can we say but thank you so much for the attention to detail.
We can and do highly recommend the Sligo Park Hotel and Margaret, she is the most amazing caring and attentive events organiser we have met.
We only wish we could have stayed the following night as the bridal suite was so beautiful, we were flying away early so it wasn't possible.

Thank you so much for all your help in making our big day a great success! Our reception was amazing - everyone was commenting on the beautiful venue, the staff, the delicious food! We couldn't fault anything, it was perfect!
