process. From the first day I met her she made everything so easy. We live in England but I’m from Cork originally. I was initially daunted by the idea of arranging a wedding from across the water but I need not have worried. Marcella was always on the end of a call/text/email for whatever I needed, but to be honest everything was so well taken care of there wasn’t much organising to do!
On the wedding day itself Liz was on hand for anything we needed, she was great, such fun and couldn’t do enough for us. All the rest of the team were outstanding from reception to bar staff and everyone in between.

We were blessed with glorious weather and the lawn out the front of the house with the drinks reception and live music was heavenly!

Springfort Hall is well known for it’s great food and it was simply fabulous. We are still getting compliments. A lot of our English guests were amazed by how you can feed that many people, that much food, to such a high standard!

Springfort Hall played such a central roll in making it the best day of our lives and we can’t thank them enough.

Springfort Hall in February and were blown away by the room, so much so, that we had our wedding day booked by the time we left! We would highly recommend going to their wedding fairs to see the fabulous set-up and to sample the delicious food ;-) Marcella, the wedding coordinator and Paul, the Manager were lovely and extremely accommodating from the beginning. At no point did we feel like we had to bargain with them and they helped us with anything we asked for!
On the day of the wedding, everything was set up beautifully and just how we had asked for. We have to mention Liz in particular as she was so welcoming and made sure that everything was perfect! We had already known that Springfort Hall is renowned for their food but it was lovely to hear how much our guests enjoyed it....we're still getting compliments! Guests who hadn't been to Springfort before also loved the countryside setting. The venue also has a great dancefloor...great for both the dancers and for those who prefer to sit and watch!
We would like to sincerely thank the staff at Springfort Hall for helping to make our wedding the best day of our lives and would definitely recommend it as a wedding venue! We only hope that we'll be attending again as guests at another wedding. We might be biased, but, it's by far the best wedding venue that we've been to!

You and your staff went above and beyond to give David and I the best wedding day possible. Nothing we suggested or asked for was too much trouble, from the blaas, to the fussball table, to my dad’s favourite wine. We were able to put so many personal touches to the wedding, which made the day so memorable and meaningful. Thank you so much for decorating the venue so beautifully. Everything was perfect, from the table plan, to the shot glass arrangement, to our little trolls arranged on the tables.
The food was out of this world, and so many guests commented on how great it was. We also really appreciate you allowing us to serve some craft beers at the welcome reception and the limoncello after dinner.

Superb service from start to finish.

From the time we booked to the day afterwards Paul and his staff were incredibly helpful, with Paul happy to take enquiries at any time.

The food was superb and part of the deal was an opportunity to do a tasting of the menu several weeks before the event …

in which we got to try several meals for free.

The room itself is large, bright, comfortable and depending on the size of your wedding able to accommodate an awful lot of guests. We had 132 guests at our wedding.

The venue itself is large picturesque and beautiful with two bars, lots of parking, and even in the event of dreadful weather impacting on your photographs Springfort hall itself is a wonderful setting for the backdrop of any wedding photos.

The event went smoothly and promptly with everything happening punctually, but there was also flexibility so if the wedding party was late that the food would be delayed accordingly.

Their ability to accommodate last second guests was also most appreciated.

I cannot recommend Springfort hall enough.

Our impression changed, driving up the lane to the house we were welcomed by beautiful gardens and a gorgeous White House.

We found on speaking to Paul the options available to be very impressive. One thing that was really important to us was to have a really great food menu and that’s what we got. Guests to this day comment on how good the food was. Secondly, being based in Sydney we need a wedding coordinator who regardless of distance was accessible and helpful. Marcella, throughly is a gem. Regardless of what we asked she was there to help and we really felt she was there to make our life’s easier and she did. She is a warm, throughly genuine person and we really felt she wanted the best outcome for our day.

As far as wedding venues go I would highly recommend Springfort Hall and would be happy to it all again there with them.

My wife and I got marred here on 20th October. We won't have changed a thing from the day, in spite of the weather being borderline storm, it was an amazing day.
This was largely down to the help from all the team at Springfort Hall. From our initial meeting with Marcella we instantly knew that …

this was the venue for us. The easy, accommodating attitude from the first meeting to the last made the whole planning process stress free.
We came with some requests to change from the traditional approach in some respects and Springfort Hall were only too happy to accommodate us. From Chef Victor, coming up with some gorgeous alternatives to Marcella, Paul and Liz allowing us to set up various props etc. and running the day exactly as we had wanted.
Even though the day was wet and windy, we got a short window to get some photos outside and the grounds are such that the photos we got were as good as though we had gone to any scenic spot in the area. Also the beautiful rooms in the house enabled some lovely photo opportunities, hence this is the perfect venue regardless of the weather.

From the minute you enter Springfort Hall, the relaxed atmosphere helps everyone to enjoy their time there and to top it all off the food is second to none. From the canapes, to the main meal to breakfast the next morning. Not a hint of a complaint only compliments from everyone.

I would highly recommend this venue to anyone, to go have a look and meet the team there as they will help you deliver whatever kind of wedding your looking for!!

Springfort Hall I knew it was a done deal. Organising a wedding can be stressful with all the decisions you need to make and suppliers you need to deal with (and don't even get me started on DIY bits & pieces!!!) that you need a venue that you don't need to worry about. Marcella & Paul are experts at weddings and you know once you meet them that they can handle anything. They are so calm and couldn't be more obliging that I knew that I could trust them to deliver on the day. It goes without saying they are professional and great at their job, every phone call and email was answered, no request was ever an issue and i felt as if our wedding day was important to them, i know ours was probably 1 of 100 weddings for them this year but it never came across that way. It's more than the service and venue with Springfort Hall, there is a friendly, family, relaxing atmosphere on your special day that you can't put a price on. The food is fantastic and for an Irish wedding you know that this is what all your guests will talk about. God help you if the Irish Daddy doesn't get enough to eat, the beef is chewy, or Aunty Bridy nearly fainted because they were so late bringing out the dinner. A bad wedding meal experience will always be talked about at future gatherings! Well our guests did talk about the food but because it was simply delicious. You can tell that the head chef and his team are very proud of what they serve as the quality of produce they pick and their passion is easy to see. Springfort hall has the most romantic setting with fabulous gardens which allowed us take our photos on site. The staff were exceptional - friendly, sincere and appreciative. The food which my guests are still raving about was superb and the service was first class.

The team made our wedding stress free and gave us much needed advice along the way and guided us and calmed me down on many an occasion during the lead up.

A wedding is very special for every couple and I am so glad we chose the team In Springfort Hall to be part of it.

The function room and house looked beautiful on the day - thankfully the weather allowed us to have our drinks reception outside and enjoy the lovely lawn and beautiful setting of the hotel. I was very apprehensive about organising a wedding from the UK because I felt that it would be completely out of my control. Marcella …

put up with me contacting her by email and telephone, often several times a day and changing my mind regarding seating and table decorations right up to the end of the planning process. Marcella was a great source of local knowledge and was able to steer me in the right direction when I started to panic at the last minute.

The day itself could not have gone better… we even had some Irish sunshine in the afternoon. Although the team were there to guide us through the day, they were not intrusive and I always seemed to have a full glass in my hand. We received excellent feedback from our guests regarding the food at the reception and the evening buffet. We also put on extra food at 3am when the band stopped for all the those that had the munchies. This was a last minute decision but the catering team were able to come up with exactly what we needed without any fuss.

The following day we had a BBQ in the afternoon. Again the food was great and it was lovely to be in a more relaxed setting with our friends and family. Special thanks must go to the bar staff in putting up with some very drunken revellers.

I would whole heartedly recommend this venue for your wedding or special occasion. The house and grounds are lovely, but it's the friendly staff who make it a truly wonderful experience.

start to finish. It was clear to us that we were in the capable hands of a very professional team, and had no worries about the venue.
We sampled an extensive tasting menu and a large selection of wines, and all were excellent. The most difficult aspect of the food in Springfort Hall is narrowing down a menu, as everything was excellent. The food on the day of the wedding itself was at the same excellent standard as the tasting menu, and the service was professional, timely and cheerful.
The venue is beautiful at any time of the year. The front lawn is pristine, and the guests congregated there in the sunshine, but there are plenty of interesting spaces inside the house for guests to meet and chat, if the weather is uncooperative.
Many of our guests remarked on how much they enjoyed the food and the ambiance of Springfort Hall. The staff were relentlessly helpful and friendly throughout a late night, and into the early hours of the following morning. Their relaxed, professional manner helped everyone to feel at home and enjoy the event.
Our guests tell us that they enjoyed our Wedding at Springfort Hall, as did we, and we would highly recommend them as a great venue at any time of the year.

back, so that was a great sign for me! I'd never been to a wedding there so I was just so pleased to hear such good reviews before I booked.

They certainly did not disappoint on the day! All my little requests were answered, all my little bits and pieces were laid out perfectly, everything was spot on!

The food was incredible!! If you choose Springfort Hall you must have the beef on your menu, melt in the mouth... people are still talking about the food, it was that good!
Staff, again, faultless... a special mention must go to Michelle who looked after us all day, till the wee hours with a smile on her face and glowsticks in her hair! She really was such a gem, even down to keeping back some of the flip flops I had provided to make sure myself and the bridesmaids had some when we needed them. That attention to detail and personal touch is hard to find.
On another note, as a backdrop for photography, it is simply stunning. Our photos are wonderful and that is due in no small part to the location and backdrop that Springfort Hall provides.
All in all, there is nothing I can fault about Springfort Hall and all the team there. Our day was perfection and Springfort Hall was a huge part of that. I'd do it all again tomorrow and wouldn't hesistate to book the exact same venue!

(many) questions in a timely matter -- even Skyping with us to do a tour of the place as we were unable to fly home to view it before booking!
During the wedding, the Springfort team were always two steps ahead and so many of our guests gushed to us afterwards about how great everything was: the venue, the service, the timing and mostly THE FOOD! I even had some people tell me that it wasn't only the best wedding meal they've ever had, but also possibly one of the best meals EVER!
Also, I had brought many of my own decorations and my own vision for the décor, and Springfort executed it perfectly for me; the ceremony room and reception room looked stunning. Paul, Marcella, Liz and all of the staff are an amazing team. They didn't miss a single detail and there's no request too big for them.
Finally, you can't picture a more perfect venue than Springfort. The charm and the coziness of an 800 year old country house on beautiful gardens can't be beat.

I got married here to my beautiful wife Claire in October and can only say that the staff, food and management of Springfort Hall blew us away in terms of just how good a venue could be.

From day one booking our wedding with Paul looking after us we knew we were in good hands. He …

accommodated everything we were looking for as we had a humanist ceremony in Springfort Hall and no request was refused with every little detail catered for.

The menu tasting for the big day went really well, we were treated like royalty and we came away feeling great about choosing Springfort Hall as our wedding venue as the food was simply delicious.

The quality and amount of choice we had on our menu was 1 of 3 reasons we picked it, the other two being that they could host the ceremony and the third being the laid back country house feel that we were looking for.

Our guests raved about the Featherblade Beef and the Monkfish and I have to say I agree having tasted them all at the tasting. Everyone was served promptly with the staff and management constantly ensuring everyone was okay for everything.

We ate there the following day for lunch and later that night with 10 of our guests who stayed again and they cornered a room off for us and again that menu was just as good with one of our guests saying the Panna Cotta was one of the best he's had. The service never once dipped from the excellent standard we experienced from when we walked in the door.

A special mention has to go to Liz, the wedding coordinator on the day itself. No task was too big and no detail was too small. She ensured everything went smoothly and really impressed us as the night before when we were setting up some of our items in the corridor the glass in our picture frame guest book cracked. My wife to be started to panic but Liz smiled and said "don't worry at all, consider it sorted". She personally wrapped it up and took it to be fixed and had new glass put into it by the following morning. An amazing woman who made the day seem effortless.

That's an example of the service you can expect from Springfort Hall. They are an outstanding venue and whether you're planning a visit for lunch, dinner, to stay the night or book your wedding you will not be disappointed.

level of professionalism and friendliness that each staff member brought to bear on our stay at the hotel.

From the day that Fiona and I first met Paul Walsh, we knew that we were in good hands. He has the harried demeanour of every small business owner that I've ever met but he also has the tenacity, down to earth warmth, humour, can-do attitude and openness of every successful person that I've known. We wanted some very particular things for our reception. Paul listened to each request in turn and replied "No problem, we can do that" time and again.

On the day before the wedding Marcella and Liz sat down with us to go through any last minute details etc. They were both professional and great craic at the same time.

On the day itself, Liz was looking after things. She must have been in the army or something, everything ran like clockwork. Her team was organised and not intrusive but got all the work done without breaking a sweat.

The food at Springfort Hall is one of the main attractions. Every single guest that I spoke with afterwards mentioned the food (particularly the feather-blade of beef) as their highlight of the day (I thought I was looking smashing myself but there you go...). The staff also listened carefully to all our guests regarding their dietary needs (nut allergies, vegetarians, coeliacs, etc).

The venue was set up for our civil ceremony and then changed to dining whilst we had our drinks reception in the bar and changed again after dinner for the band and some (bad) dancing. All of this was performed quickly and smoothly - again, directed by Liz.

I don't have much else to say except, I cannot recommend Springfort Hall highly enough.

never said "No" and really took my ideas on plans on board (looking back even the ridiculous ones) . From our initial consultation to the day after the wedding it was absolutely seamless, really effortless & easy which I think all brides can appreciate.

The night before and on the day Paul and Liz were on hand and available all morning for everything and anything I needed, we were weather dependant as we wanted to get married outdoors and they made this process an easy decision to make & very straight forward. I cannot fault their ability to make the day so calming, the day went off perfectly and was absolutely amazing. I think everyone that has visited can agree the house itself is spectacular and had so much character and nooks and crannies to fall in love with. The garden in the front really made it for us and having an outdoor ceremony and then the drinks reception out there as well. But even if we didn't have weather the indoors its just beautiful.

Springfort Hall is known for the food, we had an amazing tasting before the wedding and the have some amazing vegetarian and vegan options to suit everyone. The service on the day was impeccable, I honestly couldn't fault it. Also I have to mention the service we received the morning of the wedding was fantastic - I didn't realise how important it would be to have a relaxing morning and the staff working made it that way, nothing was an issue, they could not have been more helpful and accommodating.

Myself and my husband could not recommend Springfort Hall enough, if you want something different then a hotel, it is definitely worth a visit but make sure you have lunch whilst you are there!

They made all our family who were travelling from near and far so welcome on the Friday night, served us up a gorgeous meal and helped us have a family celebration. We were staying for two nights in the hotel.
The morning of the wedding, everything was perfect, the staff were so helpful and obliging ensuing I was to be kept calm and not needing to stress about anything. from 7.00 am till late on the 3rd of Sept everything was perfect. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the food that was served from the entrees to the finger food late in the night.

brilliant from the first day we met her to the day of our wedding on August 11th 2016. Marcella was on holidays the week of our wedding but made it her business to be there on our day to ensure everything was how we had planned. I planned the wedding from overseas and he made everything run so smoothly. Any special request was never a bother, and he made sure to mention things I hadn't even thought of. It makes it private and intimate and you don't have to worry about disturbing anyone else when the party is still going strong at 4 or 5am. We had hoped to have our ceremony on the lawns but the weather just wasn’t on our side and the day before we met with Paul & Marcella and agreed to have our ceremony indoors. We were initially disappointed as we had dreamed of an outdoor wedding but when we saw how beautifully the room had been decorated we were overjoyed.

Having the drinks reception on the lawn created a great atmosphere, everyone enjoyed the sun and Prosecco! We decided to take our photos on the grounds which turned out to be a great idea as we didn’t feel miles away from the excitement. For us the meal was always a crucial part of the wedding and we are overjoyed that so many of our guests complimented it on the day and many times since! This is definitely a major selling point for any couple as you don’t want your guests to be dissatisfied.

We had great night but what really made our weekend was our decision to stay on the second day and have our afters at the Hotel. Everyone casually got up in the morning, had a lovely breakfast then relaxed until the band kicked things off in the afternoon. We had a buffet lunch in the dining room and once again the food was fantastic, the staff really couldn’t have been more helpful, they really were exceptional, very personable and always had a smile. That night we had Karaoke, not your typical choice but it was great fun and catered for everyone to join in and have a laugh.

It’s been 3 months since we got married and we still have friends that comment on how fantastic a weekend it was. We have and will continue to highly recommend Springfort Hall. Thanks to all there for helping to make it the best weekend of our lives!!

have our own wedding here. We met up with management January last year with a list of questions but we didn't even have to look at the list as they had answered everything first, so professional. What we loved most was is it was so easy , one set price including the drinks reception with food, the meal, wine, candelabras, chair covers, evening food and food in the residents bar with absolutely no hidden extras. We asked for little extras and as we were having a big wedding we were told yes to everything again so stress free and easy. We felt really appreciated by the staff and they are so focused on making the wedding couple feel relaxed and not ripped off like some other hotels who add on money for corkage and so on. We had a gorgeous sunny day so paul and the staff had our drinks reception outside including canapés and cocktails. It was the best feeling driving in seeing all our friends and family outside enjoying themselves, everyone is still commenting on how delicious the food was and friends are trying to cook beef like the way it's cooked in springfort hall, but it's their signiture beef so I doubt it can be copied. We also had a bar extension and it was after 5 am leaving the residents bar so their was plenty of sing songs and great fun.I don't think we could handle spending so much time and money and be told go to bed at 2 or 3 like some other venues. I could write for hours about how great everything about the staff, food and hotel is but just call them and you will see for yourselves. I would get married all over again just to experience the charm of springfort hall.

Springfort Hall brought our Christmassy wedding vision to life! The staff at Springfort Hall were very accommodating and patient and helped put our nerves at ease in the busy week before the wedding. We live overseas and we only arrived home a week before the wedding. The food was delicious (best beef any of our guests have ever had at any wedding), the staff were extremely helpful, and the venue itself is magical. Once we visited Springfort back in 2014, we knew that we had to have our wedding there - no other wedding venue came even close. The menu options are very varied and everything tastes great - it was difficult to choose from such a large number of great dishes. We had a number of very specific requests on the day and Paul and Liz ensured that everything we wanted went off without an issue. We got some great photographs on the day because of the beautiful surroundings. Marcella on reception helped out with the accommodation for all of our guests and they all found her very pleasant and easy to deal with.

Overall, I cannot recommend Springfort Hall enough - I only wish we could experience the whole day there again!

June 2014 I will admit I did not even look at another hotel I had been at a wedding there 3 years prior to mine and the day after we got engaged we agreed Springfort hall is where we will go. I met the staff and booked our date the following week. After this I literally did not have to worry about anything everything I could want and more was just arranged for me by Paul and the team. I had been to the hotel on numerous occasions throughout the year with friends and family to show them the grounds and taste the amazing food and I have to say it is not like walking into a hotel, it was like walking into a relatives house every time it is so comfortable warming and friendly. I cannot think about the place without smiling.
Also my wedding day itself we had 250 people and from the minute my guests arrived they were raving about how nice the whole event was, and what's more people are still talking about how good the food was. A couple of my guests have been back to stay in the hotel since. It was the most amazing experience and it would have not been the same if it wasn't in Springfort Hall, I knew from the start Paul and the team are experts and just arranged everything to suit what I wanted. I didn't have to ask for extras as they were just given. I cannot recommend this place more to anyone it is just perfect, it is also something different for guests as you total privacy and exclusivity.

The meal was flawless. The majority of our guests had the 12 hour featherblade beef and it was so tender you wouldn't even need a knife to cut it.

The room, bathrooms and smoking area are all together which means all the crowd are kept together during the wedding. I feel this is important as I have been at some hotels where at 11.30 the room is practically empty!

During the wedding day, the staff were so helpful and friendly with a can-do attitude. We had a string trio playing classical music for our cocktail reception which was amazing. While we were sitting eating we felt we wanted some music playing. We asked the waitress who immediately put on a playlist which really added to the party ambiance during the meal. Nothing was a problem.

So many guests commented it was the best wedding/best party they were ever at which really made me smile! I would highly recommend Springfort Hall to anybody getting married.

One guest was breastfeeding her baby in her bedroom during the starter and without being asked, staff automatically delivered her starter to her room so that she didn't miss out on the amazing food. Kieran O'Donovan, Banqueting Manager as he was extremely helpful, he ran through all the options and helped us tailor our wedding to our budget. The process was made easy and straight forward not often words you associate with planning a wedding!!

The food and wine tasting was so much fun exploring all the options not to mention the food was mouth watering. My husband who is a chef was delighted with the food quality and was excited to choose some items that were not on the menu. On the day all of the guest complemented the food - the Braised Feather Blade of Prime Hereford Beef was a massive hit. The grounds are beautiful for photos and allowed us more time with the guests. The accommodation and the staff are helpful friendly and make you feel at home.

warm welcome and reception while our photos were taken. During the meal there were some dietary needs that were met without hassle or delay. the time between meals was timed brilliantly. there was ample amount of food and any request was sorted in the best was possible.
After the meal I found out that one of our guests had a request to a staff member for one or two more strawberry's for her child for desert, this was not only met but when the staff member returned she had a bowl of strawberry's cut to bite size for the child.

looking for and they helped me every step of the way from hiring Chavari chairs, lace tablecloths, cream jugs with wild flowers to displaying the 3 car loads of decor I had gathered myself throughout the venue!! They were simply amazing!! When I walked into the Ballroom, I was amazed to see that it turned out even better than I expected due to their fine eye for detail.

The food was also amazing and everyone raved about the meal they presented all day long. The Featherblade Beef and Seabass would melt in your mouth. I have always said I'd have Bacon and Cabbage at my wedding (as I'd eat it seven days a week!!) and this was also no issue and boy did it live up to my expectations, just fabulous!!!

Paul and Ciaran kept everything moving very smoothly on the day so as we didn't lose out on time with our guests and our guests were also very impressed with the outdoor drinks reception and Canapes offered to them on arrival (thank God we got a fine day!!).

I also must praise all of their staff as each any everyone of them were very accommodating and some of the night staff actually dropped a few of our guests off to surrounding B&B's that they had booked into.

Once again, thank you Paul, Ciaran and all of your staff for a fantastic day from beginning to end and there's no doubt I'll be seeing you both again to sample your amazing bar food on alot of weekends!!

Its not hard to define what makes Springfort Hall so special - the staff and management. From our first visit to Springfort Hall we were impressed, the hotel and grounds are beautiful and the perfect setting for a wedding but Springfort Hall has so much more to offer.

planning our wedding remotely was challenging but I never once worried about the hotel, the team at Springfort Hall know what they are doing and they completely put me at ease.
A couple's wedding day is one of the most important days in their lives so I would not recommend a venue lightly but my husband and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Springfort Hall - we definitely were 100% satisfied with every aspect of Springfort Hall for our wedding in Autumn 2014.

It is difficult to summarise the key points but I'll try....

Kieran O' Donovan - Kieran looked after us from our first visit to our wedding day, nothing was a problem for Kieran, he is amazing at his job. Ask his advice on anything and he'll give you a straight answer. I miss calling him with lists to discuss now that my wedding is over!

All of the Staff and Management: my guests went out of their way to compliment the staff to me, they are all so professional and friendly. Anytime I called with a random question or request who ever answered the phone was so helpful, you do not get that everywhere. I had a few tears saying goodbye to the staff the morning after my wedding, that's how nice they are, they genuinely want all couples and guests to have a great experience. It is a family business and the benefit shows - it is truly well run.

Food: 10/10 no question - if in doubt eat there once and you will never worry about your wedding meal.

Venue: visit there once and you'll love it, when we were wedding planning we made up excuses to visit there, we unnecessarily stayed over night once. It's a beautiful country house and I look forward to going there again when we're home for Christmas.

go into everything but here are a few of the reoccurring highlights
1) The food, the food is second to none and is the best wedding food you will get anywhere
2) The venue, as it is a small hotel we pretty had the hotel to ourselves for the day something that you would pay a small fortune for anywhere else.
3) The friendly staff, so many of our guests could not get over how nice the staff were and how discreetly and efficiently they handled any requests small or big. Springfort Halls finest asset is their wonderful staff.
For us in particular having looked at a number of other venues, it was Springforts (and in particular Kieran's) response to any requests we had, the answer was always Yes no problem. Other venues will try fob you off with "well this is the way we do it", whereas Kieran always came back with "Yes that's no problem."
From start to finish Kieran and his team at Springfort Hall were fantastic and made planning our wedding easy and stress free.

In all of our dealings with Kieran and the hotel in the run up to the wedding we felt very confident that everything was under control and in safe hands. Weddings are a large part of the business at Springfort Hall and it is very obvious to see why it is such a popular venue. If you book your wedding reception here you can be assured of the most professional attention before, during and after your wedding.

All of our guests loved the country house feel to the place, the function room and of course the food. 6 months later we are still getting rave reports from our guests about the fantastic meal. The quality of the food (especially the beef!) and the level of service throughout the day were absolutely faultless. Mrs Walsh was present in the function room throughout the meal, visiting each table to ensure everyone was happy. The personal attention was commented on by several of our guests.

Kieran was excellent in his attention to detail. When it came to organising rooms for guests, babysitters for children, helping to accommodate a children’s entertainer and various other specifics he only needed to be asked once and we knew it would be done. We enjoyed music and singing in the residents bar with many of our guests until the wee hours with no fuss and excellent friendly service from the bar staff.

We have no hesitation in giving Springfort Hall 5 stars!

The staff
This hotel is not your run of the mill wedding venue. Kieran went out of his way to help us with every detail. He met us on his day off and he gave us everything we needed.
The owner of the hotel went around to every table and checked if everything was okay. The day after the wedding lots of people left stuff behind in their rooms and all were contacted immediately to inform them. The level of detail and care was unreal.

Value for money
The value that we received was mind blowing. It was much cheaper than other hotels that were nowhere near as nice.

Overall
This hotel is outstanding. You will be treated like royalty and want for nothing. It was the best day of our lives and this was in no small part down to kieran and his staff.

We will be regular visitors any time that we are around to get the feather blade beef. It is unreal.

We couldn't thank all the staff enough for making our day so wonderful.

In short. If you're thinking of having your wedding here... stop wasting time and do it.

The wine was flowing and the food was absolutely superb, my guests are still raving about the 12 hour feather blade of beef - comes highly recommended!! The bar for the reception room is located centrally in the room so the crowd is never separated.....which I've experienced at other hotels and isn't ideal. They have a beautiful smoking area for those guests that smoke. There is also a smaller area just outside the main reception room where guests can have a bit of quiet time if needed.........I placed my wedding wish tree out here also, it's a very big area so perfect for large table plans etc. The banquet manager was very easy to deal with, anything I asked for was done no questions asked. We booked our wedding for June 2014 and then met with Kiernan, who we can only describe as a gentleman. His professionalism, wiliness to help make our day special and stress free attitude ensured that all our encounters with Springfort Hall were positive, encouraging and enjoyable.

We were very lucky that the sun shone out on our wedding day, we enabled us to have our drinks reception on the beautiful lawn. We happily availed of this picturesque setting for our wedding photos also. The Banqueting Hall was simple breathtaking. As our guests were being seated and orders being taken in this elegant setting, Damien and I were advised by a member of staff to take a seat on the lawn, have a drink and just take a little time for ourselves. This little bit of advice sums up Springfort Hall for us – “Caring and remembering the small things that make an amazing day magical”. The meal was a delectable treat for the taste buds, with many of our guests still commenting on how amazing the food was. One of our guests stated that “The meal was like no other meal I've had at a wedding. It was very high standard restaurant quality”.

Springfort Hall isn't your average, run of the mill hotel. You feel as if you have the place to yourself. The owners, management and staff go above and beyond and exceed your every expectation. Your Wedding Day will always be a very special day, but a Springfort Hall Wedding Day will be exquisite.

As I am not originally from Ireland, I stayed in Springfort Hall (along with my sister) from the Wednesday before the wedding, with my family joining us from England on the Friday - come the day of the wedding we felt so at home that we were running around the hotel in our pj's and slippers, without a bat of an eyelid from any of the hotel staff!

Marcella and her staff on reception were wonderful to work with, and made the process of booking for travelling guest really easy!

We had an amazing day, and if we could do it all over again...we would definitely not think twice about where our reception would be!

ceiling, hanging drapery and cute courtyard were beautiful. They hotel were more than accommodating to make our wedding day our dream come through. Over the next year and a half each time we visited the hotel, we were welcomed with open arms. When we had our food tasting, it was a really enjoyable evening. The food was AMAZING and plenty of choice for each course.
At our last meeting with Paul, all details were recorded and we were assured that all would go to plan on the day . . . which it did!
From the moment we arrived it ran so smoothly. The food on arrival was really tasty and everyone complimented the sparkling wine. The bell was rung and the guests moved to the dining area. Kieran was our liaison on the day and as we waited to go in he was nothing but attentive and explained to us what would happen next. The rest of the night flowed without the hitch. As expected the guests were raving about the food and the service. The table names, plan and sweet table were exactly as we had asked. The stage was all ready for the band and extra sides were there for people who liked them (even though the portions were large). During the meal Mrs Walsh continued to come around to see if everybody was enjoying themselves which was a lovely touch. Everything was planned to perfection by the staff they were so professional and very well organised. Paul and Kieran could not have done enough for us in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, nothing was too big or too small a detail and they could not have been more pleasant or professional, their advise was always so welcome and correct!
The day itself was perfect. Springfort Hall was magnificent, the doors thrown open to welcome our guests with the style, elegance and grace that we had become accustomed to on our pre-wedding visits. The staff were immaculate and highly professional, the flowers so fresh, the food mouth-watering. 7 weeks later and guests are still talking about Springfort Hall and what a beautiful and memorable venue it is.

Everything on the day went off without a hitch, and Paul, Kieran and the rest of staff were very flexible in dealing with last minute cancellations, table changes and every kind of food allergy you could think of among our guests. Service was quick with plenty of food to go around for anyone looking for seconds. We let Springfort take care of the room decor and the lighting, candleabras, colour scheme etc. all looked beautiful. When we started our search for a venue I wanted to find a place with real character. Our guest list of 180 meant many boutique venues …

were out of the question and marquee weddings seemed like a lot of work! Springfort was an answer to our prayers- it combined a great country house setting with all the ease of a hotel wedding.

We asked the team at Springfort to help us with many details at our wedding: they placed items in guest bedrooms, set up games on the lawn, allowed us to decorate the day before, did a great job setting up our sweet buffet and tables and facilitated all our entertainers (a band, circus troupe, fire performers and a magician!)- all this without ever blinking an eye! My then-fiance joked that the only response Paul knew was "No problem". Nothing was ever too much trouble, nothing we asked for was forgotten and no detail was overlooked.

Choosing the menu for our meal was an important decision for us- my husband and I both enjoy eating out and knew that we had friends of similar tastes- including a few chefs!- on our guest list. While we were eager to impress our foodie friends we also had to bear in mind that my family would have very traditional, plain tastes. We thought that finding a menu to keep both camps happy would be difficult but the quality of food at Springfort and the range of options available made it a very pleasant task. One guest said it was the best meal she had ever eaten at a wedding, another is invited to another wedding at Springfort next year and is already looking forward to her meal!

The service at Springfort is of the highest quality while at the same time being friendly, personal and unpretentious. The wedding packages are superb value. The quality of the food and included extras meant it was certainly the most well-spent money from our wedding budget.

Paul first day and he gave us a tour of the entire hotel - bar, restaurant, function room, bedrooms & bridal suite. His friendly manner and genuine need to accommodate us were what made us want to book the hotel.

From there we were dealing with Kieran, who I cannot fault. He went through absolutely everything with us. From the meal to what colour decor we wanted on the tables.

We went for our menu tasting a couple of weeks before the the big day and hardest thing about it was trying to eliminate what NOT to have on the menu. Every course was spectacular. I have been to many weddings all over the county and country and I can safely that Springfort Hall had the BEST food I have had at a wedding to date. If anyone reading this is booking in Springfort, I would recommend the feather-blade beef on the menu!!

The day itself was superb. Every single member of staff made everybody feel so welcome and and ensured everyone was taken care of.

During the course of the day and following weeks I asked the majority of our guests had they enjoyed the day and everybody felt the need to mention the hotel & staff as being so courteous and professional.

I would strongly recommend Springfort Hall as a wedding venue to engaged couples shopping around now. You won't find better.

We dealt with Paul initially, Gina in the lead up, and Kieran on the day. All were fantastic.. Particularly Kieran on the day of the wedding who ensured everything went perfectly to plan. A friend did our wedding dvd so we saw all the footage in which I saw his extra touches. He was absolutely A1. All staff on the day were friendly and helpful.

Springfort have an amazing chef with guests commenting it was the best wedding meal that they had ever had. The duck starter and the beef were particular favorites, as were the wines. They also catered very well for some guests specific dietary requirements.

The reception room is perfect; the beautiful decor, the size and layout, the bar and the large dancefloor.

The bridal suite is everything a bridal suite should be!

Overall, it was the perfect wedding venue. One guest summed it up when they said it was 'the closest thing to heaven'. We couldn't agree more and love going back there. Couldn't recommend it highly enough to couples looking for a very special wedding venue. Thanks again to everyone at Springfort!

We got married in March 2013 and we couldn't have been happier with our choice to go to Springfort Hall for our Wedding Reception. It met and exceeded all of our expectations on the day.

atmosphere for you and your guests from the moment you walk through the front door. The staff did everything possible to make us and our guests feel welcome and the meal was superb on the day. The featherblade of beef in particular was a huge hit with our guests!
The function room looked stunning on the night and dancefloor and bar are well positioned to keep people dancing the night away.
The staff on duty were as friendly and helpful at 4 o clock in the morning as they were at 4 o clock in the afternoon.
We dealt with Paul and Keiran in the run up to our big day and their experience and expertise in timing the order of events and menu planning was invaluable.
We looked at a lot of venues in Cork before making our choice but none of them offerred us the same quality or value for money as Springfort Hall.
We are so glad that we chose Springfort Hall for the most important day of our lives.

We could not have been happier with how our big day out at Springfort Hall back in September.
We were so lucky with the great weather, and this was made even better by being able to have our drinks reception outside Springfort Hall, with the outside gardens looking fab, our string quartet playing …

music on the lawn, everyone sipping champagne and taking in the splendid surroundings (great for photos).
We were thrilled with the quality of the food served also, and it was great to have a choice of 3 starters and 3 main courses (the slow cooked hereford beef was to die for).
All of the details which are crucial for an enjoyable wedding in Ireland were covered superbly by Springfort Hall (attention to detail, plenty of wine served during meal, high quality food, late residents bar extension, great layout for band and DJ, and finally the luxury of the honeymoon suite).
I would certainly recommend Springfort Hall to others ..."a right hidden gem" is how a number of my friends referred to it

strange telephone conversations and one or two even stranger requests and took it all on board. Nothing was too much trouble and nothing was impossible. There was even a little drama with a certain wedding dress and chocolate sauce, which was sorted without any fuss (and without any of the wedding guests seeing :-)). The food....what can I say? Every course was spectacular and I am still hearing comments from my guests about how good it was. The bridal suite was nothing short of elegant. The four poster bed added a little extra something to the night. I can't say we saw much of it, however, as we partied well into the early morning (even seeing daylight). Of course, this was all shown to us prior to making our booking. The pre-wedding consultations were a god send and I really enjoyed our little chats. I was in a very lucky position, in that I live quite close to Springfort Hall so I was able to touch base with Paul or Kieran very often, which reduced a lot of the stress. The attention to detail was evident throughout the whole day. I loved the way my colour scheme was visible throughout the venue. The personalised menus were adorable too. I was very grateful to Kieran and Paul for their many wonderful suggestions, most of which I would not have even thought about. I loved every part of our day and this was in no small part to the fantastic help we received from Paul, Kieran and all the staff at Springfort Hall. I couldn't recommend this place strongly enough. Springfort Hall should not be overlooked as an amazing reception venue.

everything is amazing. Kieran, Paul and all the staff were fantastic to deal with. Their attention to detail is amazing and nothing is too big or small. On the day the venue just looked amazing it outshone my expectations. The staff were brilliant just made us feel so relaxed. The food is mouth watering. With a winter wedding we were subjected to taken our photos inside, there was so much scope and we now have amazing photos as a result. I can't recommend Springfort Hall enough. It's tranquility and ambiance is just indescribable. When you book Springfort Hall for any occasion you know too won't be disappointed.

We had our wedding here in August of 2011. Springfort Hall is fabulous country house venue. The house itself has undergone improvements over the last few years, and is in excellent condition. The garden and surrounding wooded grounds are beautiful.

professional people and showed us hospitality on our visits prior to the wedding. We had about 200 people at the wedding and our requests were always accommodated for. The canapes at the drinks reception were excellent and were enjoyed on the lawn in front of the house with the music singer performed in the background.

The wedding meal was amazing and they catered for all dietary requirements. Many of the guests who live abroad wrote letters to us complimenting the venue for the exceptional food quality. Even the range of food provided for the afters was excellent.

As its a family run venue, it is clear that the Walsh family add their personal touch truly which makes all of their events a family affair & you feel like a part of their extended family long after you have left. As a result, we have made regular visits to Springfort Hall to continue the amazing memories that we will treasure for a lifetime.

We were married in Springfort Hall in April of this year.
On the days coming up to the wedding Paul, Kieran and the staff were wonderful and helpful and so kind.
They took a lot of the stress involved in wedding preparation off of our shoulders.

ceremony in the banqueting hall and afterwards went for photographs on the beautiful grounds and then to the nearby Doneraile Park, as the guests enjoyed champagne and canapés.
When we arrived back at the hotel, the room was ready and beautifully decorated for the meal.
There were more than 100 people attending and every person we spoke to raved about the food and service as the staff were wonderfully friendly, prompt and professional.
Everyone had a fantastic time, the bridal suite was absolutely beautiful.
The next morning the breakfast was fantastic and we left with happy memories and happy guests!
7 months later there are still people raving about the day.
We would recommend the hotel to anyone planning their wedding.

They were very accommodating with all aspects of the day, from every small detail to every large detail. On the day itself, Kieran and Paul were waiting hand on foot for our every need. We were always told that our Wedding Day would be the most special day of our lives, Kieran, Paul and all the staff at Springfort Hall certainly made this come through for us. staff to be very helpful in the lead up to the wedding which made arranging everything from the UK much easier. The venue is stunning and the grounds are beautiful, with some lovely opportunities for wedding pictures.

Last but by no means least, the food was out of this world and worthy of a special mention. We had a huge amount of very positive feedback on the quality of the food, which was one of the key things that we wanted to get right on the day and we think it surpassed our expectations...which had already been set very high from our lovely pre-wedding tasting experience. It is a huge credit to Springfort Hall that they can produce such top-class food for such events.

It was an absolutely fantastic day - everybody says that but for us it was one of the best days of our lives (second to our daughter being …

born). We wanted a lot of specific things for our day at the reception and the staff at Springfort Hall made all of those things happen seamlessly. From setting up a sweet table, last minute seating swaps (on the day) and dealing with "helpful" relatives and in-laws - the staff there have seen it all and more importantly handle it all without batting an eyelid or bothering us on the day itself. I had a lot of meetings with the staff beforehand so that they knew exactly what we wanted for our day - each meeting was a pleasure and they were extemely helpful and knowledgeable. Many of my guests had said beforehand that they were looking forward to the food on the day as it has a great reputation for the quality of food served there and it did not disappoint. We received so many compliments afterwards on the food from our guests - many saying that they had never been at a wedding where the food was so good. All of the staff were lovely throughout the day (even into the early hours of the morning :-)). We had a mix of country, city and international guests and they were all equally impressed with the decor, food, service and location. If we were planning to repeart our wedding celebration again - we would definitely have it again at Springfort Hall!

The service we received from the staff in Springfort hall was exquisite. From the moment the guests arrived they were treated impeccably and made to feel so special. My husband and I were welcomed warmly and the red carpet was ready and waiting for us.
The meal on the day was simply mouth watering and a significant number of guests commented that it was the best wedding meal they ever ate. On the day an extra starter and main course were also added to the menu without being requested and I felt this gave our guests the best possible choices.
Paul, Kieran and all staff members were extremely professional and courteous to deal with and on the lead up to the wedding I was contacted on a number of occasions to ensure everything on my end was running smoothly and asking could the hotel be of assistance in any way. No request was too big or small.
My wedding day went so smoothly because of the wonderful people we met in Springfort Hall and I will be forever grateful to them all. If I had to do it all over again I would not change a single detail. We received five star treatment in what should be in my opinion a five star hotel!

The setting is fantastic - a vintage countryside hotel surrounded by beautiful lawns, magnificent trees, and stables. The hotel has a classic & modern feel to it.

We held our pre-reception outside, our guests singing & dancing on the lawn to a wonderful singer called Ronnie Costley. Stepping in to the hotel we were met by staff presenting us with sparkling wine, who talked us through the entrance.

When we arrived in the reception hall the decoration was magnificent. The food was incredibly good - how many hotels servce steak at a wedding?

The marital suite is like a one bedroom apartment it is so big. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne when we (eventually) made it upstairs.

All in all, Springfort Hall made a special day into one with many treasures and a lot of happy memories.

We weren't bad ourselves, mind!

Our wedding day in Springfort Hall was fantastic. It couldn't have been better. All our expectations were met. Even the big man supplied the weather.
The event was special for a number of reasons.
1. Springfort is an excellent venue and the function room is spacious, well …

decorated and intimate at the same time. It was excellent and a really good size dance area.
2. The food was superb. The price was good but the quality of the food made it worthwhile.
3. Many of our guests stayed there the following day and were made to feel completely welcome by the hotel. Facilitated whatever we needed.
4. The staff were excellent before, during and after. We received excellent support and service from all the staff throughout.
5. The tasting, the details about timing of each part of the day and the efforts that were put into getting the reception room ready was excellent.
6. The weather was excellent and if you are lucky to have great weather, having the initial reception in the garden works brilliantly. It helped to make everyone really relaxed and get the event off on the right foot.

The 22nd of March was the coldest, wildest, wettest day of this year but that didn't stop us from having an amazing wedding day. Springfort Hall was ideal for this type of day with the blazing open fire ready to greet our wind-swept guests. The country-house style, comfort and setting appealed to us …

from the beginning. Paul and Kieran were so helpful, it was reassuring to know they were there to meet our every need no matter how big or small. The atmosphere was so relaxed and cosy at the drinks reception that people hardly wanted to move into the banquet hall for dinner. As for the dinner, people are still raving about the feather-blade beef which Paul had recommended to us. We knew the meal would be something to remember as we had enjoyed our complimentary tasting session so much! People don't often rave about food at weddings but the food at Springfort Hall is unforgettable. Kieran was excellent throughout the evening making sure we were happy and looked after. The atmosphere throughout the entire day and night was so relaxed, this is exactly what we wanted and needed! With uncles and aunts happily sipping drinks by the fireside and everyone else going mental on the dance floor, we couldn't have been happier. All the staff, in particular at the residents' bar were fantastic. When we arrived back to our beautiful wedding suite at god only knows what hour of the morning, the candelabras were lit and there was champagne on ice, what more could we ask for??

From the moment you enter the drive to the hotel you experience the amazing grounds which we immediately fell in love with. The grounds are amazing for your professional photographs. This is a family run hotel and you experience the family feeling the minute you enter the door. We can't say enough about the staff they were absolutely outstanding and so helpful and so easy to deal with, especially Paul, Kieran and Mrs Walsh who took care of all our arrangements. The reception room is so beautifully decorated and is set up beautifully for the Civil Ceremony. We had some expectations of what the room would look like but the staff exceeded any expectations we had and again when it was set up for the reception. Beautiful stone work, great size dance floor and a good size bar with great staff.All our guests are still talking about the amazing food at the reception and will still be talking about it for years to comes. There was such a great choice from starters to main courses to deserts to choose from and they were all amazing. The service during the meal was very efficient and the timing between courses was perfect. The honeymoon suite was amazing. I would definitely have no hesitations in recommending Springfort Hall to anyone for their wedding. We honestly can not speak highly enough of the staff, they are amazing to deal with. We can not wait to go back and celebrate our 1st Anniversary :-)

that come along with a wedding. I felt like a family member during my stay here for the wedding and can't say enough how delightful, attentive, and caring each and every staff member was. The hotel and grounds are stunning and were the perfect setting for our wedding. The reception hall was beautiful and elegant and I couldn't have been happier with how it all turned out. We had a casino night during the wedding and the hotel was wonderful with getting them all set up and squared away while my husband and I were busy with all of the guests! All of my American family were blown away with such a beautiful venue and the sweet staff. We had our wedding reception in springfort hall on 5/1/13 and were delighted with every detail.
We choose springfort hall because we had been to 3 weddings there and the food was outstanding !!
another factor for us was privacy as we had our 3 children with us and didn't want them to be exposed to …

alot of strangers that weren't at the wedding. I had great piece of mind on the day and could relax and enjoy it. Kieran himself and all the staff couldn't have done any more for us , they were fantastic.
People are still talking about the meal on the day and how much they enjoyed it.
We have been back for sunday lunch since and the staff on that day were very nice too.
This was my ideal location old style with beautiful gardens and the privacy we wanted .

Springfort Hall Hotel was one of about 4 hotels that we choose to check out for our wedding. As it happened, it was the first one that we visited….and the only one!!!
My first view of the Hotel was when we swept around the bend in the driveway and I was already in love with the place from that …

moment. I hoped against hope that the hotel could offer us what we wanted for our wedding day as I just loved the ‘feel’ of the place. Beautiful green lawns, woodlands all around and this gorgeous house that ‘belonged’ in the middle of it all.
On that day, we had not made an appointment, we just thought we’d go over and have a look at the place. However, we were warmly greeted by the girl on reception who right away sent Samantha to talk with us. She was an absolute gem…answering all our questions and did so professionally but with humour (very important!!). We booked the hotel the following weekend.
The staff couldn’t do enough for us throughout the whole process. Unfortunately Samantha moved on to another job a few months before the wedding, but handed over to Kieran in Springfort Hall, who looked after us just as brilliantly as Samantha had. Thanks to Kieran & Paul, who were always at the end of the phone to answer my very important (& sometimes not so important!) questions and put my mind at rest.
And what a great evening we had when myself, my husband and 4 other guests went for our tasting a month before the wedding…we had a great evening and the food was only fabulous!! Again, the staff went out of their way to make the experience an enjoyable one for us all.
And so to the big day…we had our civil ceremony in Springfort Hall on 30th August…the ceremony room was just absolutely magical…I will never forget how special it felt walking in there and then being married in such a gorgeously decorated room…it helped create a comfortable yet intimate setting for us.
We then had our drinks reception out on the lawn where a string quartet were playing in the background, again the staff were great. We had our photographs taken outdoors (it was the first sunny day in weeks!) which was lovely. When we arrived in the function room for the reception I was gobsmacked at how fantastic the room looked. What had been a beautiful ceremony room just 2 hours earlier had been transformed into an absolutely lovely function room for the reception…the fairly lights twinkled all around (I love twinkle & sparkle!) the table settings were fab with candleabras & lilies on alternate tables as requested.
The meal was just fabulously scrumptious! People are still commenting on how lovely the food was. And through it all Kieran and Mrs. Walsh were on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly.
I cannot recomment Springfort Hall Hotel highly enough to any prospective brides & grooms who are considering which venue to choose…and I cannot thank Samantha, Kieran, Paul, Mrs. Walsh and all the staff for all of their hard work in making our day so so special for us and for their particular care and attention to what we wanted…and Kieran, for your great patience also!!
P.S. The double bed in the Bridal Suite is just GLORIOUSLYcomfortable…sinkability at its finest!!!

it was obvious they she would be there to help us in what every way she could to accomodate us up to the day. Mrs Walsh, her son Paul and their marketing manager Mags were fantastic, they were great to keep in contact with us and as a result their was no stress. A few weeks before the big day, we went for a tasting for our menu and we were blown away, my husband Keith who is a chef couldnt complement the food enough and we knew we had made the right decision. All our guests on the day commented on the food, some had 2 servicing which nearly equated to 2 dinners! :) The function room was nicely decorated and set up in the way I had requested. All in all, the staff couldnt do enough to help us, the hotel, the grounds and food are fantastic. We are so glad we booked our wedding here...they say it is the best day of your life, and due to Springfit hall...it was! Just want to say thanks again to the management & staff for a fantastic day!

The meal was beautiful especially the beef all the guests were raving about it. Kieran was there the minute we arrived to the early hours of the morning and always made sure we wanted for nothing. chatted about all the details over a cup of coffee by a gorgeous open fire in the front room. We were also introduced to Mags Corbett, who kept in contact with us throughout the planning stage and was always quick to answer any queries.
We had a menu tasting beforehand, which was really great and helped us to choose each course for the wedding dinner.
On our wedding day, Paul was there to greet us at the door with champagne. The reception room looked like something out of a fairy tale. The decor was so classy. The dinner was absolutely delicious. The service was top class. The staff were on hand all the time, making sure everyone was happy with everything.
Absolutely everything was perfect and we couldn't have been happier. We were made to feel so welcome and it made our day feel so special.

warm, friendly atmosphere. Their wedding packages are flexible and we were able to tailor ours to suit our particular needs. The house and grounds are beautiful and the function room is spacious, with lovely stone walls and romantic lighting. All through the planning, the staff at Springfort Hall were brilliant. They were efficient at returning emails and answering questions, nothing was a problem. On the day itself, we were blessed with gorgeous sunshine and having the drinks reception on the lawn with friends and family gathered round was definitely a highlight. As the gardens are so pretty, we took our photographs right there, which meant we were with our guests all day. The meal was fantastic, we had plenty of choices and many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food. We had spent so long searching for the perfect wedding venue, but as soon as we found Springfort Hall, the search was over! We enjoyed our day so much and everyone at Springfort Hall played a huge part in making it such a success.

The food tasting was amazing and the actual day was even more amazing. My friends and family said it was the best food they have ever tasted, If anyone asked for anything they made sure it happened. The staff are unbelievable and everyone couldn't stop talking about the place. I am so happy I got to celebrate my wedding at Springfort Hall - it will always be a place I will visit when over. Having been to other venues some good and some not so good this gave me a big lift and straight away i felt they would look after this most important day. They didn't let us down we had the best day and we couldn't have asked for,or gotten more help. Kieran and Paul looked after us from the minute we arrived, Kieran even arranging my train to look right when we were having photos of the cake taken. the wedding fairs etc never pushed the hotel on us, they never knocked other hotels when we spoke to them they let Springfort hall speak for itself which it did. If you never have been in the function room for a wedding then you are missing something. It is beautiful. Its the perfect size without being too big that everyone looks scattered but cozy enough that all can sit and chat without being cramped. They are always improving the room and fairy lights were added this year to make the room even better ( i didnt think they could improve anymore). when we chose our menu their were a few things we wanted but were not on the menu. Paul the manager spoke to the chef and asked us to come back another night for a sperate tasting related to the changes we wanted. He worked with the chef to give us the the perfect deserts. This to me showed that we were not just "another wedding". He genuinely wanted us to have the perfect day. It goes without saying the food here is amazing and the numerous reviews they get on food speak for itself ( the lemon posset is probably the best i have ever tasted) All the staff are very friendly and so accomodating and I dont think there was ever a single request not dealt with. Rooms are are amazing also. We found overall the hotel was the best for our day and its a biy cliche but they do make the day run alot easier for you becuse they genuinely want your wedding day to be amazing. I never once got the feelong it was just business. Its like the pride themselves in guest leaving with smiles. Sadly thats the hardest part the leaving!!!! booked our wedding that very day for the following year. Our first dealings were with Mrs. Walsh's son Paul, who we spoke to on several occasions discussing menu choices. He was brilliant. Our menu tasting went well, and we had narrowed down our choices to three starters, three main courses and three desserts for our guests to choose from. Paul was always at the end of the 'phone if we ever had any queries, which was great!
We met up with Paul a few weeks before the wedding to discuss timings for the day of the wedding. We went through everything, and we left the hotel feeling excited that everything was under control. My husband and his family stayed in the hotel the night before the wedding, and I had given them boxes of items that I wanted them to set up on the morning of the wedding- such as a sweet table, activity books for the children for during the meal, candles, photographs, table names, and lots more paraphernalia! It was all laid out perfectly, I was blown away when I saw everything! To say that they did a great job would be a huge understatement! We were so happy with everthing on the day, and so many of our guests commented on how lovely the meal was. Kieran who is the event manager was fantastic too. We were completely pleased with everything the whole staff did for us throughout the process, we have nothing but very fond memories from Springfort Hall.

We had an absolutely amazing day and this was in no small part due to the staff at Springfort Hall.
