The magnificent property is situated on its own 64 acre estate in Beaufort, Co. Kerry overlooking the iconic Gap of Dunloe, the River Laune and is a short drive from Killarney town. The Dunloe is a classic yet contemporary 5 star hotel set in beautiful gardens leading to the ruined keep of the old 12th century Dunloe castle whichs form an idyllic backdrop for an unforgettable day.

A red carpet awaits on arrival where guests are welcomed to The Upper Lounge for your wedding drinks reception which offers panoramic views of the surrounding parkland and beyond. When weather permits enjoy your drinks reception al fresco on the Outdoor Terrace or choose our rustic Thatch Cottage nestled within the 64 acre estate.

One of the most important aspects of any luxury wedding venue is the ballroom. Filled with natural daylight the elegant Park Suite is your private ballroom for the evening, intimate and classical. With private dining for up to 240 guests, it boasts its own bar, dance floor and outdoor terrace area exclusively for you and your wedding guests.

competent, knowledgeable and easy to work with. From the moment we booked to this day, the service we received was exceptional. In the months leading up to our big day, Jason, Niamh and Simon could not have been more helpful and accommodating, always prompt to respond to any queries. There was never any problem making the wedding planning experience really enjoyable and stress-free. We were always made feel so special and that our wedding was unique and important to them. Our wedding menu tasting in The Grill Restaurant was an outstanding experience and we definitely recommend staying the night and making the most of this fun experience. We loved staying at the hotel for the weekend of the wedding. Our family and friends were made feel so welcome and it truly was a home away from home. We enjoyed some pre-wedding drinks in The Bar the night before (The Dunloe Signature cocktail was a big hit!) and this really added to the excitement. Also, the view of the Gap of Dunloe from The Grill Restaurant each morning while having breakfast was breath-taking. Mark and I are both lost for words on how to describe the service on the wedding day but it completely exceeded all our expectations. The bridal suite was so beautiful and spacious and made for a really relaxed morning getting ready. From early morning to late that night, both Jason and Niamh checked in with us regularly throughout the day to make sure everything was going ok for us. They were there to wish us off to the cathedral and welcome us back for the celebrations. Everyone was blown away by the luxurious Upper Lounge with its spectacular views for the drinks reception. Our guests are still commenting on how beautiful the grounds and hotel looked and most importantly how amazing the food was. We cannot complement the chef and kitchen staff enough for the quality of food that was presented. All the staff are so genuine and courteous and went above and beyond at all times. We are so grateful that everything flowed smoothly and perfectly on time, undoubtedly down to all the hard work that went on behind the scenes. We could not have asked for a better wedding day and highly recommend The Dunloe Hotel and Gardens as a five star wedding venue. It will forever hold a special place in our hearts with fond memories to last a lifetime. Thank you to all the management and staff for making our dream wedding come true.

accommodation and room layout the Dunloe is second to none. On the wedding day itself, the service and presentation of the hotel, the reception and the dining room was impeccable. There was no stress organising our wedding as Jason and Niamh took care of everything. We had an elderly parent and grandparents with us who needed wheelchair assistance. On a few occasions throughout the evening Niamh was a huge help and went out of her way for them. The food and ambience at the reception and at the dinner itself was amazing, all our family and friends are still raving about it 3 weeks later. The wedding rate accommodation is very reasonable including breakfast (which was delicious). All of our friends and family are so excited to go back. If we could give this venue more then 5 stars for a wedding we would! Thanks so much again Jason, Niamh and all the staff.
