The Killarney Avenue Hotel

friends who had their wedding there, and the second was our email to the hotel resulted in a prompt reply from the General Manager Denis, via telephone. The personal touch was evident by all staff from start to finish.

The initial walk about by the G.M. with us, allowed us to get a feel for the hotel, and we were walked through our potential wedding day as it would happen on the day. We met staff along the way who were all very welcoming. We both fell in love with the character of the hotel - and the warm and friendly atmosphere throughout. It made choosing to have our wedding at the Killarney Avenue a very easy decision.

Both myself and my husband can actually say nothing was a problem for Denis, Neil, Eoin, Ela, Yvonne, Norman and the rest of the team. Not being from the area and travelling to Killarney for the wedding, we had nothing to worry about. All emails and calls were replied to promptly and made us very relaxed right up to our wedding day.

As for our wedding day!. We truly can say we had a special day celebrated with our family and friends in Killarney. Having a hotel who understood what we wanted and gave us such a wonderful reception without any hiccups ensured we all simply had a ball. For many weeks after our guests commented on the location, how lovely the hotel decor was, the welcoming staff who went to great lengths to ensure they all enjoyed the day, and finally and most importantly the food, which was plentiful and delicious.

We would highly recommend the Killarney Avenue hotel as a wedding venue to other couples.

that we all knew.
When I booked it with denis 2 years before we had sat down, booked the date and spoke about everything. Denis was so helpful, very friendly and made everything very easy. When I had a meeting to go in and decide on set up decorations and all that fun stuff, Nial met with us and he was just the best! We got everything sorted and listed! The following week we had gone in to have our menu tasting! The food was amazing!! My favorites were the creamy vegetable soup and the chicken vol au vents! The day of the wedding when I arrived the place looked gorgeous! I was so happy! It was better then I imagined and I couldn’t have done a better job myself!
All of our guests raved about how great the food was, how friendly all the staff was! And of course how beautiful everything looked. I didn’t have to worry about a thing that day/night!
At the end of everything and looking back I had the most amazing day/night! I would not have done it any different and the avenue completely blew my mind with how much they did and do for you when you have your wedding at their venue. The only thing I am sad about is that it is over now!
I am forever grateful to Denis, Nial, and everyone else at the avenue for making our day super special and one of the best parties we have had in a long time! We will definitely be back, and I look forward to planning my next party there!
