hotels wedding package which meant I didn't have much to do, only my dress and bridesmaids which made things a lot easier and less stressful for us. The food was delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Only thing we didn't have from the package was the photographer because we had our friends who are a couple do it.

However, we were later introduced to Ulick and later Alison and they were both amazing – they were fun to deal with and really helpful, always available for questions and emails. They were both there on the day of our wedding too, which was a big help to have familiar people around at all times. One thing I remember was how calming they were with my father, myself and bridal party as we prepared ourselves for walking down the aisle. We had been previously let down by another venue with regards postponing our day due to Covid reasons, and therefore our first encounter with Ulick from the hotel was during a very stressful and …

worrying period. However, from the moment we walked into the hotel on our first appointment, he was able to put us at ease so quickly and run through all the options available to us. We were put at such ease and impressed with the packages and options available that we really believe that the initial disappointment was ultimately a blessing in disguise. The grounds of the hotel, the ballroom set up for weddings, the bridal suite, everything was just perfect. All throughout the planning, Ulick and then Alison were available for every question and every call, and they both also contacted some of our suppliers to discuss timings and logistics together, which again was a great help for us as it took so much pressure off us. Everything was just so easy and they couldn't have been more helpful from start to finish. The day itself was amazing and we would do it all again in a heartbeat. All of our guests could mingle in the together in their own private area which was nicely set up, and they were all so impressed, as were we, with how everything was run on the day, how quick and professional the service was, and how fantastic the food was. The colours of the woodland on our day were gorgeous for our photos (thankfully the weather was sunny!) A big thank you also to Ana on the day and evening for looking after us so well and for making sure that we had everything we needed and that we were happy with how everything was going. cases spiked up at Christmas, we were panicking massively. However, Ulick spoke with us numerous times and reassured us that we had a final say on everything. Ultimately, we decided to postpone until September, and we are delighted we did (due to a relaxation on guest numbers by then). We found the staff in the hotel were very approachable at all times. Our wedding day was amazing. There was nothing but praise from our guests about the venue, food, service and the relaxed atmosphere. The service provided was so personal. We really felt like their only wedding couple of the year, and were treated as such (even though there were weddings either side of our date)! We jumped on the offer, and secured our dates immediately. We liaised our plans from the check in date to the decorations to the food, over email and it was the smoothest exchange of ideas and information we’ve had during the wedding preparations. One of the most important parts of our wedding day was the food, especially being from a different cultural background. Ulick and the team melted away our worries, and met all of our expectations by giving us the option of having a certified chef that can cater to our cultural dietary needs. In the weeks and days leading up to the wedding we were able to finalize all of the decisions very effectively. On the day of the wedding, I can not commend enough how Ulick and our event planner made the day a stress free day. If anything had gone wrong on that day, myself and my wIfe had no idea as they took care of it themselves. I can truly attest to them making the wedding fun and stress free for the couple. If I could get married again, I would choose The Lucan Spa Hotel over and over again. I would 150% recommend the hotel to anyone getting married. After we had booked it with the initial deposit, we had booked our meal. We were then introduced to Alison, who would be dealing with us and looking after us on our wedding day from that moment on. We instantly felt like family to everyone in the hotel, from this meal tasting to the hotel porters to the amazing bar staff and receptionist. The meal tasting was amazing, and from that moment on, we actually felt that we had gained a friend with Alison. She was amazing ( i can't say that enough). Alison would be responding to an email before I've even sent an email. She was that good.

My parents and I had checked in the day before the wedding, and all the staff were so accomodating, by asking if we needed help bringing stuff to the wedding room or my own room, which was so helpful. The morning of the wedding, as crazy as things can get, I actually met Alison on her way into her shift, where she stopped and checked to make sure everything was going okay and plan. Later on in the morning, she actually came up to the room to check in again & to let me know everything downstairs was going smoothly and that my husband had arrived. From the moment I had arrived downstairs for the ceremony, Alison was there to welcome me and to remind me to breathe & take every moment in. She was there right up until our DJ had arrived at half 7 couldn't have asked for a better woman to be there for us on the day. Alison was there the following morning, making sure we had our breakfast and even out went out of her way to get myself & hubby had our pint glasses of juices. Thank you xxxx

While Covid started out as a massive nightmare, the dedication of the staff at the hotel, in particular Ulick, was amazing and we really are grateful for the patience, advice, organisation and professionalism of the hotel as they guided us through the ever-changing scenarios and restrictions. On the day, we were limited to 25 guests. However, the hotel catered for our smaller numbers by creating an intimate set up that was just perfect. We were also able to keep our original package intact and the hotel were very kind to continue to include all the complimentary items originally agreed when our guest numbers were originally 100, even though we were only paying for 25 guests. The food, staff, services, rooms and grounds are all absolutely amazing. The Christmas decorations throughout simply created a magical, intimate atmosphere and we were delighted we went ahead with our wedding at this time. Being part of the many wedding groups and forums, I know many future brides and grooms retain a concern of proceeding with their day under current restrictions. However, once you have the support of a great venue like we did, we would fully recommend going ahead with your day! You won’t regret it!

"NO PANIC, we will have this and anything else you need sorted out".
Even to the stage of ringing me to tell me that they had a wheelchair ramp sorted out which never entered my mind. When it came to the day itself, myself and Gary and all our family were very well looked after. We had the most amazing day and it all went to plan from start to finish. We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Spa. I was planning the wedding from America, so I just wanted a place that I could trust to give us a nice day without me having to work out every fiddly little detail. The Spa really went above and beyond and even though I had very simple plans you …

would never guess as the decor and atmosphere and timing etc were so warm and complete. Claire was incredibly helpful in the whole process. Honestly, so far from being stressed out on the day, I felt like I was just another guest enjoying myself because everything was being taken care of around me.

We had many compliments from our guests about the dinner, the staff, and the venue. The room at the Spa is truly lovely and set off from the main body of the hotel so it feels properly private. Because I was so far away I had just let go of the idea of decorating, and I thought I might end up with kind of a blah room, but the Spa set everything up with all the little details and coordinating touches, you'd think I'd slaved over it for months. The dinner was generous and really delicious -- my husband and I were looking forward to it from the day of our sample dinner! We were able to take a big group picture in front of the hotel very easily, and the woodland area in the back looks stunning in our couple photos.

I would absolutely recommend the Spa to anyone. Claire and the staff are so accommodating and they really think of all the details to help you, so matter how many (or how few!) ideas you have you will have an absolutely gorgeous day.

We got married in the Lucan Spa Hotel in July of this year and it was honestly a magical day for us. We initially came to see the hotel at the end of 2017 and we met Claire (super awesome Sales Manager!) who walked us through everything they had to offer. She broke down the various packages for us …

and guided us through their process, all of which was impressively adaptable. We loved in particular the open air site they use for weddings, which was lovely even in the wintertime, and the ballroom with its phenomenal chandelier.

When we made the booking, Claire kept in touch with us over the intervening time and was able to answer any questions we had quickly and clearly. This very much helped to keep the stress level to a manageable state!

On the big weekend, we were very lucky with the weather (27c and sunny... in Ireland!) which meant the outside location was perfect. All the staff were very helpful and set up happened almost completely under our radar. Our florist and cake people were able to drop off without a hitch, and our DJ was very happy with the hotel as well!
The ceremony went perfectly, then on to the meal. The food was a cold buffet and was absolutely delicious. Portion size was great and everyone was well fed! The evening went until about 1.30 and the staff were nothing but great all night.

The long and short of it was that we had the happiest day of our lives (so far hopefully!) at the Lucan Spa Hotel and they helped make it that!

and removed the daunting feeling we both had when starting to plan our wedding day. The hotel is gorgeous, and we couldn’t get over how beautiful the wedding suite is.

We choose the hotel’s All Inclusive Package, as this featured a number of wedding suppliers attached. Its ease and price were obvious lures. However, as time went by and we met/dealt with each supplier, we realised that the best attraction of this package is the quality of the suppliers included. A huge thank you to Pat our photographer, Jackie our florist, Oisin and the boys from the Wise Guys, Karen our cake maker and Greg from Dublin Formal Wear. All provided an excellent service and helped a long way to making our day so special.

Our dealings with Claire and the hotel team leading up to our day was superb. Claire was efficient and helpful in all dealings, and helped with any question or query we had in such a speedy and caring manner. We also very much appreciated assistance from other members of staff during Claire’s days off, and a special mention to Ulich and Susan who helped on a (panicky!) occasion each in the same professional approach as Claire..

With such a backing and support during planning, we knew our day would be the best of our lives. We were not disappointed. From arrival to the hotel, Claire and the team could not have done any more for us. The staff were polite and efficient, continuing the trend of excellent service we had experienced from day one. Proof of our day was told in the stories the following morning, with our guests blown away by the food, service, staff and bedrooms.

We have and continue to recommend the hotel to anyone planning their own wedding day in the future.

visiting weddings fairs etc, we knew after viewing the hotel this was the venue for us. Firstly, the room is AMAZING! It is without doubt the most beautiful room we had ever seen for a wedding and on our day itself looked stunning. Secondly, the many people in the hotel that make it a special place. Our wedding coordinator Ulick was friendly, helpful and most of all listened to our ideas and plans and encouraged our ideas with suggestions to not only assist but supplement them (we felt other venues/hotel coordinators just rambled on the usual jargon on initial appointment). We celebrated our wedding at the hotel also, and the ceremony set up was beautiful. The food was gorgeous and plentiful. We were allowed to design up our own menu, with the added treat of snacks for the resident’s bar (which went down a treat with our guests!) Oh how I could not possibly ever explain how amazed we were with the service, the food, the little touches. I had played it down myself because i didnt realise that the hotel would go to such lengths to make it feel personal, pretty with candles and flowers, the food was hot, delicious and there was plenty of it with seconds to go around. Chefs were brilliant. Ash, a member of staff there that is just fantastic. He felt like an old family friend and was with us the entire day. He led us through the formalities, making us laugh, everyone knew his name and everyone is still talking about him. He was fantastic, an absolute credit to the hotel and he made our day memorable. The bar staff, reception staff, we noticed were smiling all day. It was great to see and unbelievably there was another wedding for the staff to cater the very next day. I wanted to try put into words that our wedding opened our eyes and alot of our guests too. No one expected such an affair, especially with our budget. I will be booking in for a night away because I know now what the Lucan Spa really is. Its a cracking spot with character and characters and we had the most amazing day. and a professional manner were such important factors for us both, our task at finding a venue we both loved become tedious to say the least, and we are glad we began planning our day two years in advance to allow us find that perfect venue. We were recommended the Lucan Spa Hotel by a work colleague of mine, and while hesitant at first (I had known the hotel from years ago at teenage discos!), we arranged a viewing appointment. We were pleasantly surprised at the ease of making an appointment, as many venues we had seen had restricted us to working hours or specific showcase days. We met Ulick on a weekend day, and despite the Boyne Suite not set for a wedding, he provided a detailed tour and spent as much time as we wanted discussing options to us on what he later admitted was his own day off. Peter and I found his level of detail, interest and willingness to supply or source our own (some very random, admittedly) ideas to be first class and we both left that day knowing we had found our venue. Needless to say at this point, the hotel is fabulous. My own memories of the hotel were blown away, and the new Boyne Suite is simply stunning. Because of the service and dedication supplied by Ulick and the staff we met throughout planning our wedding, we knew our day would be perfect and so it was. All details were discussed and planned for, and the little extras supplied went a long way and helped us out in our plans. The level of choice available to us certainly allowed us the day we dreamed of. From arriving to the hotel to leaving the next day (and beyond!), the service from all staff members was exemplary and we would really like to thank all for making our day so special and lovely.

and provided a professional and entertaining service in helping us plan our day down to the last detail. They are a credit to the hotel and assisted with all stages of planning, with much needed advice on all scenarios. The Boyne Suite wedding room is simply stunning. We have not, and have yet to see a more beautiful and grand banqueting area. The winter wedding setting of candles and tea lights seemed to add to the magic of the day. Our meal was served with tactical precision, and not one guest has failed to mention the quality of the food on the day to us. Seconds were even served to everyone, which went down well among everyone. Our band had everyone dancing throughout the night, and the Boyne Suite’s large dance floor was availed of greatly by all our guests. We all danced the night away, and enjoyed a brilliant sing song in the resident’s bar until the early hours in the morning. It was wonderful how all our guests stayed the night and we very much appreciated the brilliant room rate for our guests to make this happen. His mix of humour and professionalism put us at ease from the go and allowed us to enjoy the planning of our wedding (with regards venue anyway!) Another plus for the venue was the really great bedroom rates they offered for our guests, with prices nearly half of other venues we spoke to or that we have stayed in ourselves for weddings. The hotel even went to great lengths to assist Greg’s bestman for a surprise during the speeches, something we only discovered the morning after. Even when our main point of contact was not there, there was always someone there to help, which was a big help to me at certain points when having mild panic attacks!! The hotel itself is gorgeous and exactly something what we were looking for. The room is amazing and something to treasure. We had our ceremony outdoors in the small wooded area, and while I had sleepless nights over the weather leading up to the day, it was totally worth it as it was something special to us and looked amazing. All our guests loved this and it was definitely the one special and unique thing that we were delighted we went for. Nearly 3 months on and our guests are still talking about it. Everything else about the spa was brilliant. The food was gorgeous and plentiful. They even went around with extra portions which was a nice touch and definitely appreciated among our guests. The colour changing chandeliers set a perfect mood for the evening and we had a great night and everyone danced away with the dance floor full all night.

People always say that the two most important things with a wedding are the venue and band and after our day, I would definitely agree. We were delighted with the spa hotel as our venue and our band and we would have no hesitation in recommending the spa hotel to any engaged couple.

I have been asked to put in a review for The Lucan Spa Hotel on our wedding day, but I fear I may be here all night and run out of positive adjectives to use when describing the day. It all began when we headed out to the hotel for one of their showcases. To be brutally honest, I was not expecting …

much as I had known the hotel through the hazy days of the early 90s nightclub there (sorry guys!!). But my now wife Jean insisted on calling out as she had heard the place was done up. On arriving to the hotel, I think Jean was still pulling my hesitant body into the entrance. We were greeted by Ulick, who met us with a warm smile and brought us into their new room. Once he opened the doors, my jaw hit the floor (or at least felt like it did!). The darky days of the nightclub were indeed over. We were met by a STUNNING banqueting room, with huge chandeliers and lots of brightness. In that moment, Jean and I looked at each other and knew this was our wedding venue. Of course, we tried playing it cool with Ulick in an effort to get the best deal, but it was impossible to keep our obvious inclinations secret and we booked the hotel there and then. As we told our friends and family of our venue choice, we definitely got a few "Oh really?!" looks but we kept our counsel and could not wait for our day when everyone would see the new hotel interior. Over the next year, our dealings with Ulick and later Majella were effortless and as the day approached, we were both nervous and excited. On the day itself, after a tearful ceremony (not me, honest!!) we arrived at the hotel. We had told the hotel not too allow any of our guests a sneak peak of the main room before we had our photos taken. When everyone was called for dinner, the grand doors were opened to the room and the sound of gasps from our guests made us feel delighted (and smug!!). Jean and I were eventually called into the room and the memory of all our guests clapping us into the beautifully set room is one I will always cherish. Our meal was delicious and the staff service was exceptional. Nothing had to be asked for. The rest of the night was a mirage of smiles, laughter and brilliant dancing (ehem...). All our guests had nothing but the highest compliments on the day, and still to this day people bring up our wedding in wonderful remembrance. So to wrap up, thank you Lucan Spa for the greatest day ever and we continue to support and recommend your hotel to anyone we speak to! :-)

Upon entering the ballroom we were met by Ulick who's initial interest was what we wanted to achieve on the day and then proceeded to give us assurances that all our needs could and would be met. We were shown around the hotel in great detail in a manner I can only describe as humorous yet professional for someone so new to the role. It was not only the spectacular room but Ulicks attitude and genuine interest that left us in a position that we knew this was the place that we would have our wedding day.
Unlike every other detail,dealing with the finer points and of course our budgetary requirements the Spa was a hassle free situation. For other couples planning on getting married it is the utmost importance to find somewhere that can show the flexibility experienced by us not only from seating arrangements, food detail, wine details and every other aspect that you would worry about.
So after months of near stalker like emails to Ulick whom remained cheerful throughout somehow we come to the week of the wedding. Ulick rang throughout the week not only myself but our suppliers to ensure everything would be in place for our big day. Although not due to work Ulick promised he would be there on the day to which Sheila and myself were most grateful.
As we pulled up outside the hotel as husband and wife we were greeted by Ulick and Majella, our guests were already inside been looked after and didn't even notice us enter.

went to meet with them on a number of occasions to look at prices and to see if they would be willing to do things a little differently as we are both not from Ireland and wanted to incorporate some of our own cultures. Over the months before the wedding we must have gone to the hotel over 10 times. Looking at how we could do a few extra bits and for the menu tasting and to meet to finalize details. On every occasion the thing that stood out the most was the Friendliness, Kindness and amazing Customer Service by every staff member of the hotel. Customer Service is not always a priority in Ireland we have found. But in the Lucan Spa Hotel we watched the staff as they answered the phones and spoke to customers coming in and they extended this same customer service to every customer. The staff who look after the wedding bookings were all so helpful and worked together. If one wasn't there and the other was there they knew about our wedding and the details and this showed us that they were very professional and business like but with that personal touch that really helped at times when things were stressful. Besides the extra bits we wanted we didn't have to worry about anything else. They had the tables set up beautifully everything was organised and ready and i didn't have to think about anything to do with the reception for the wedding it was a huge weight of our shoulders. We trusted them and they delivered and amazing room on the day. The food was excellent and ALL our guests since the wedding have commented that the food and the Staff were outstanding. The chandeliers are amazing, and the way the room is separate from the rest of the hotel was a huge plus for us as it made for a great atmosphere throughout the night with all our guests. Another thing we were hugely delighted with was our dealings with the hotel. The staff there are second to none and really made the months leading up to our day a breeze. Guests still mention our day to us in conversation and comment on the beauty of the hotel. We are so glad we chose the hotel as our venue and we be delighted to do it all again.

Afterwards the guest helped themselves to tea/ coffee and scones while we got our photos taken. It was raining that day so the pictures were taken inside the hotel. The pictures were amazing. There are so many lovely parts to the hotel where we could take photos. The ballroom where we had our reception was gorgeous. I loved it. The only extra decorations we had were chair covers because the room is so beautiful it didn't need anything else. The wedding staff were so nice and professional. They tended to our every need. Our meal was amazing. All our guests complimented the food. We had a celiac and a vegetarian and the staff looked after them really well and they both were very pleased with their food. Our reception was so fun, we had an amazing night. We bumped into one of our guests last week, he couldn't praise the hotel and staff enough.
He said the everything flowed together and it was a great wedding. I agree with him 100%. The day flowed well and the staff are the reason for this. Thank you for helping make our day amazing.

everyone at reception, housekeeping, the bar staff etc were absolutely brilliant on the days leading up to our day and on the day itself.
We picked the hotel based on the beautiful ballroom but also on the reputation it has for good food. Our friends and family had a ball, and have not stopped talking about the quality of food, service and the stunning ballroom since. We got married in October, and the beautiful autumn surroundings in the woodland area allowed for a brilliant wedding album. The images our photographer took of our little boys playing among the leaves are our favourite pics from the album.
We have returned to the hotel on numerous occasions for lunch and the welcome we get from staff is absolutely brilliant. Obviously, I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel as a wedding venue to anyone. Our only regret is that we can’t do it all again!

appointment with Ulick to view the location, on arrival the staff were warm, friendly and inviting. From the moment I walked into The Boyne Suite - I knew this was the location for our special day! No other venue took my breathe away as this room did - Ulick did not have to 'sell' the venue to us - the room simply spoke for itself! I was going to be a princess we would have our fairytale Wedding Day here in this stunning room! Deposit Paid and Date booked on departure!
Claire, Ulick, Majella and the rest of the hotel staff took first class care of us from that day on to our big day. Countless 'bridezilla' phone calls and checks to ensure every little detail would fall into place did not seem to phase them - they were amazing. Their help, advice, experience and guidance contributed to ensure our day was nothing short of Magical. So many of our guests commented on the delicious food, dinner service and professionalism of the staff on the day. It was reassuring to know that not only did we have a magical day in our Bride and Groom bubble but to know that all of our guests had the same treatment was so satisfying, made our smiles and memories of the day even more enjoyable.
Quite simply, I would love to get married all over again and I wouldnt change a single thing! It was just PERFECT. From top to bottom, we had it all!!!

in the ballroom are truly breathtaking and really add the wow factor to the room.

From booking the Lucan Spa Hotel as our wedding venue to the actual day of the wedding, the staff at the hotel were second to none. I mainly dealt with Ulick and Majella who were an absolute pleasure to work with. I had plenty of questions along the way and always received a prompt response from either Ulick or Majella. They were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Their attention to detail and their willingness/eagerness to ensure every single detail is arranged exactly how you want is incredible.

The food on the day was amazing. All of the guests loved the food and there was plenty of it to go round. Majella even made sure the band were fed.

As already mentioned, the attention to detail is impeccable. The table menu’s, the table centrepieces, the table plan etc were all of a magnificent standard.

Overall I would consider the Lucan Spa Hotel an ideal venue for a wedding and would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a dream setting.

and I know everyone says this about their chosen wedding venue, but from day one, nothing was too much from the initial enquiry to the day itself. Our dealings with Ulick were brilliant, and his level of detailed knowledge and humour put myself and Eugene at ease straight away and heightened our excitment for the big day. We personally loved the way their packages were so flexible, and our little quirky requests we sourced and granted on the day. The day itself was a magical time. The ballroom is a stunning room, and all our guests had a look of amazement when they were called into it for the meal. The only thing I would change was the weather (it lashed most of the day!!) Our guests were brilliantly looked after. If there was one thing I would point out in particular, it was the high attention to the little things: they played our favourite song as we were announced into the room for dinner and I could not understand how the hotel knew it was “our” song (later Ulick told us we had mentioned it on our first meeting and he went out of his way to have it played at that time). They also looked after all our guests with sandwiches at the residents bar which was greatly appreciated and heightened the atmosphere at that stage of the night. I could not recommend the Lucan Spa Hotel highly enough, and I would like to thank Ulick, Majella and all the staff for a brilliant day (and night!!)

The day itself was an absolute dream. We still get compliments from our friends and family on what a great day it was. Everyone was bowled over by the ballroom when they first walked into it. The food and service was first class, and everyone appreciated greatly the staff going around with second helpings. We had a pink theme for the day, and the chandeliers were changed to a pink colour to make the night magical. first day we came to meet with Claire and Ulick and to picture the view of where we would have our special day, there was no dissapointment whatsoever. All the staff at the lucan spa hotel, at any time, where pleasant,helpful, gave plenty of advice, answered all questions and queries we had and they never let me down at any point. Most of all they were friendly and made us feel so welcome and happy.
The few months leading up to wedding i spent some time at the hotel, having lunch, looking around the hotel and of course, looking around the Boyne Suite, for my ideas for the wedding day. I was always allowed to come at any time to the hotel and the staff always made me feel welcome.
I was in contact all the time with the wedding coordinators and they always made sure to fill me in on any updates etc. They made lots of suggestions, to help me out and were very helpful in everything!
We had plenty of meetings in the weeks to our wedding. We were introduced to our wedding coordinator(Majella) for the day of our wedding and all the staff, which i would have a lot of praise for. They done a fantastic job. Our day finally arrived and i couldnt have asked for anything better, than what myself and my husband received. Our guests were treated with the most professional treatment anyone could ask for. We still to this day, are told how well they were treated. All of us for that matter!!
The food, the drink, the venue, the hotel, the rooms, everything. I cannot fault on one thing. More than enough food on offer. Our guests were well fed and didnt have to ask for anything extra or more. The package we received for our guests to stay over night was perfect and most guests did book a room to stay. Actually, i think the hotel booked out....i was more than happy for that, as i knew my guests were comfortable and happy. Throughout the whole day, i dont know how the staff done it, but before my eyes, everything was calm and happy and it was like i was floating through this well planned and coordinated day. The room was transformed for our evening guests to arrive. We had more than enough room for everyone. In total at the wedding, we had 170guests and we had plenty of room. Our evening guests wished they had of being to the full wedding, as they were told so much about how the day went perfect for everyone. Lucky enough (surprisingly) the sun came out for us that day. The lucan spa hotel has perfect picture spots for the wedding photos. Our photographers had lots to play with at the lucan spa hotel and the pictures are perfect and perfect memories of how beautiful our day was...
We actually stayed for a weekend and many of our friends and family also stayed with us to celebrate our wedding day. Majella, has the patience of a saint!!! Thank you so much for the whole weekend. Everything you done for us, was brilliant and we cannot thank you enough :)

a few changed, unique table setting and ceremony layout for the room! Nothing was any trouble!! In fact suggested a few things to make things easier for us - Very refreshing! The night before the wedding we had the rehearsal, all went so well even at that late stage my husband (groomzilla) had a few changes and again no trouble at all!! So the day of the wedding arrives: Weather was an amazing sunny summer like day, (I know the Hotel didn't have any control over that but as a result,) we had a champagne reception on the balcony fabulous scenery and pictures taken in the forest! Everything was under control and so well managed both Rob and I knew we could relax as the wonderful staff were so professional and could handle anything that was to happen! The Room: Exquisite, didn't warrant any further decorations perfect on its own. A simple flower centrepiece on each table elegantly added a little touch of our wedding colours! The Staff: Second to none on ALL levels!! Surpassed all expectations with a smile always to be seen! The Food: Glorious and again second to none!! We have gone back for dinner since the wedding at least 10 times!! (Any occasion or "just because" . . . we don't need a reason!) hours it was in the hotel and they have been extremely slow to address my complaint to them. I still haven't been told how it got there and I feel very let down. The dessert we had agreed on in advance was different to what appeared on the day (assiette of seasonal desserts included banoffi, which my bridesmaid couldn't eat as she is allergic). One of the main courses was not as described on the menu. Can be very slow to reply to emails/phone calls (weeks in some cases). The rooms themselves are in need of refurbishment, the bridal suite was nothing to write home about.
