Trident Hotel Kinsale

stayed in (and I've been in a lot of high-end hotels) Stay there even if you're not getting married!! They have two bridal suites available. Anyway, the hotel has recently been renovated and has a very luxurious comfortable feel to it.

I loved the variety of rooms in the venue. We had a civil ceremony so you are all day in the one venue but with the ceremony in one room looking out on the sea, drinks in another with a balcony and the reception in another room which also had a balcony, all with fab views looking out on the sea. All of which we had to ourselves. Couldn't wish for more!! And the residents' bar was perfect and cosy for our after party sing song. The food was gorgeous. When scouting out the venue we said nothing and ate in the bar first and were v impressed with the standard of food and service from the get-go. Their motto is you say yes and we do the rest. They completely live up to this. We got married within 6 months of engagement. We live in Dublin and arranged it with no hassle whatsoever. Loved dealing with Trish, Norma and Anthony. Such professional and friendly service. Flowers, decoration of the venue, table plan - all done for us. I feel I cheated in this wedding planning lark!!

All the hotel staff are so warm and friendly.

Even the local wildlife - played their part - with a local seal swimming around nearly every time we visited.

We got some great photos around the harbour at the hotel and went 10 minutes up the road to Charlesfort for the main shoot.

I have to give the place 10 out of 10. I really recommend you have a look for yourself.

room and the views were just gorgeous.
The whole hotel has recently been redecorated and all the rooms are spotlessly clean with elegant and modern decor. The bridal suite was absolutely stunning, with a huge balcony and stunning views over the harbour. The staff couldn’t have done more for us and thanks to them our day ran so smoothly and we were completely relaxed as they handled everything for us. Any emails we sent in the months leading up to the wedding, with our endless list of questions were answered by one of the managers Trish, Norma or Anthony, within a matter of hours, they were always so helpful and professional and we can’t thank them enough. The food, both for the wedding meal and for breakfast the next morning was delicious. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and cannot wait to return for a visit.

amazing job and we honestly can’t thank you all enough for everything, from the very first time we enquired about the wedding ye were there to answer all of our (endless) questions. We really did have the most amazing day of our lives and we are so pleased we chose the Trident, it couldn’t have been more perfect. All our guests are raving about the gorgeous ceremony room, the beautiful surroundings, the amazing bedrooms and of course the food! So once again, thank you all, you made our day absolutely perfect and we had the time of our lives.
