The Abbey Hotel and staff really made our wedding day so special. From day one, when we walked in the door we fell in love- not only with the venue but with the service, the food and the general atmosphere.

We lost count of the compliments our guests gave the hotel over our wedding weekend- …

mostly commenting on the service, but also the magnificent food and beautiful decor. Lisa, the wedding coordinator was magic from day one. Nothing was an issue. Herself and the team made all our dreams come true and gave us a day that we will never forget. Adrian, the manager made the whole experience so personal and treated us like family for the whole weekend.

We honestly cannot thank the Abbey enough and look forward to visiting again and again throughout our married life.

warmth and dedication of the entire team at the Abbey Hotel made us feel special every step of the way.

On our wedding day, Lisa and the team were simply outstanding. They attended to every detail, not only for us but for our entire family, making sure everything ran flawlessly and that everyone felt taken care of. Walking into our ceremony room was magical – the candlelit aisle and the beautiful details made it feel like something out of a dream.
The food was another highlight and a major reason we chose the Abbey for our special day. We had heard about their exceptional reputation, and they exceeded all expectations. Our family are serious foodies, and to hear them say it was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding meant the world to us.

Lisa became more than just our wedding coordinator; she felt like a friend, and we’ll miss all our planning chats. We can’t wait to return to the Abbey Hotel, perhaps even to renew our vows, as this place will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
