incredibly accommodating in the lead up to the wedding.
On the day of the wedding the entire staff were incredible. Upon arriving to the hotel, Catherine took us straight to the ballroom to allow us time to have some food and a glass of Prosecco before getting more photos done. She also allowed us time with the rest of the bridal party to have another drink and time to sit down before being introduced to the guests.
The service during the meal was so efficient and on the ball and we never had to ask for anything, everything was brought to us. Thomas and Emma were also exceptional and consulted us about the food and the band and when they were ready to get going.
We had the best day at the lakeside and our only complaint was that the day went too fast!

Myself and my husband Brian got married at The Lakeside Hotel in March this year. It was the most perfect and special day. The Lakeside Hotel is the most perfect location set on Lough Derg.

to the service we received. Our wedding coordinator Catherine was so helpful in the lead-up to our big day making everything stress-free and fulfilling any requests we had.

So many of our guests commented on how gorgeous the meal was and what an amazing day they had. This hotel has always been one of my favourite hotels but it will now hold a special place in my heart. I could not recommend this hotel for a wedding venue enough, they really go above and beyond for their wedding couple and I am so glad we chose to get married in The Lakeside Hotel. We couldn't have asked for any more off Catherine. From the very start when we went to the lakeside to view the function room etc Catherine made us feel so welcomed.
She went into so much detail on all aspects of how the day would unfold. When we booked our date in August of 2022 from then on …

Catherine always made contact with us.
We had meetings nearer to our date and they always went off so smoothly and Catherine's professionalism always made us come away from their knowing our day was going to go to plan.
We were so well looked after when we had our meal tasting and Catherine was onto us later that week to see how we got on. Any questions I had they were always answered and lots of reassurance too.
The week of our wedding was so busy and when we landed at the lakeside to drop off all our stuff on Friday, Catherine was there to go through it all with us and go through last minute details.
The day of the wedding I had messed up and forgot two names on the table plan Catherine was there to sort it out without us even having to worry. Catherine then handed us over to Neil once the speeches were complete and we were reassured by Catherine we were in good hands. Neil was always making sure all was ok for us and even the next morning I was asked did all went well when the party continued into the early hours. Front of house staff, general manager, waiters, bar staff, and Joe I think is his name bar manager? Were all very professional during our few days in the Lakeside.
My parents got married in the Lakeside 38 years ago. It was so lovely for Anthony and I to go back to Lakeside and celebrate our special day and make memories that will last a lifetime.
