The resort will play host to an array of wedding services and suppliers, all showcasing everything you might need to create the perfect wedding day. Consider all that’s on display as you browse through wedding dresses from Divine Gowns to men’s suits from Black Tie, through a selection of photographers including Brian Terry photography, music options such as the Orphius Trio, cakes by Cakes of Distinction, and even honeymoon options with Lee Travel. You can even consider the option of having a wedding planner do all the organising for you, with a selection on the day including The Mulberry Tree and Weddings by Franc.
By attending you will also have the opportunity to witness the Fota Island Hotel & Spa dressed for a wedding day. The hotel’s Smith Barry Suite will be set for 170 guests and the luxurious bedrooms and lodges along with a deluxe suite will all be available to view.
The resort also has the Golf Clubhouse which can host weddings as well as the hotel itself – and on the day of the fair, a luxury limo or vintage car will transport you to check it out. The Clubhouse exterior retains the original stonework while the luxurious interior is more like a top-class hotel than a conventional golf clubhouse, providing a stylish alternative setting for a wedding reception.
Food and Drink:
The talented team of chefs at Fota Island Resort’s Hotel and Clubhouse will provide canapés, starters, main courses and desserts for you to sample and they will also be available to discuss menu options for your wedding day. Wine tasting with the resident sommelier will also feature, providing inspiration for the perfect wine accompaniment to your first meal together as husband and wife.
