The Brigitte Bardot neckline on this wedding dress is just everything…
Fun-loving Roisin and Greg had a clear vision of what they wanted at their wedding. They chose Ballinacurra House in Co Cork as the perfect location to exchange vows. The uber-organised bride from Kildare and her handsome groom from London opted for a chilled humanist ceremony amidst the stunning grounds of the elegant country house with breath-taking views of the water as their backdrop.
The Delta String Quartet played Stand by Me as Roisin floated across the pristine lawn and into the arms of her beloved wearing a chic wedding dress by British designer Alan Hannah. Family and friends basked in the moment, under the clear blue July skies above.
The Cuban All-Stars set the tone of the drinks reception on the terrace before guests enjoyed Guinness and Pimms, as a nod to both cultures. Guests were then seated in the Garden Room for dinner and enjoyed a Chef’s Signature 4 Course Tasting Menu which gave those from abroad a flavour of the fresh local produce.
After dinner the Cuban Cocktail Bar was in full swing with signature drinks created in honor of the newlyweds; The Griffin Mojito, the Ashmore Espresso Martini and the Dark & Stormy Marriage which really added the fun-factor for guests who popped in and out of the photo booth to capture every moment as they partied into the early hours!
Day two of their celebrations at Ballinacurra was a more casual affair. Family and friends got a taste of Arundo, a traditional and lively Irish band, which gave the overseas guests a really authentic taste of Roisin’s heritage. They gathered on the patio for a late afternoon BBQ followed by more great entertainment. Summer wedding bliss!!
Huge thanks to Roisin and Greg and to Ballinacurra House for allowing us the pleasure of sharing these gorgeous moments from their special day.
