So, whether you are getting married in a traditional church ceremony, or you are having a humanist ceremony on the beach, you will definitely need some music!
Are you struggling to find the perfect arrangement for the big moment that you walk down the aisle? Are you finding it hard to locate the best background songs for throughout the ceremony? Hopefully we can help you today! We have picked some of our favourite music that we have heard at weddings or we plan to play at our own some day.
Everyone likes different music, but maybe these could get the ball rolling or you could even find out what you don’t want from our list.
Hopefully these help you on your musical wedding journey.
Faith Hill – There You’ll Be
This powerful song was featured in the Pearl Harbor movie. This would be a definite tear jerker to walk up the aisle to.
Donna Lewis – I Love You Always Forever
This is one of my favourite songs. Ever! I love how it starts so delicate and slow, but escalates into a fabulously powerful song.
Etta James – At Last
Defintely a classic tune for the wedding ceremony, but always remember, things are classic for a reason!
Coldplay – Magic
We really love this song from Coldplay’s new album ‘Ghost Stories’, it is a beautiful, upbeat love song. “Still I call it magic, When I’m next to you”
Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros – Home
Amazing alternative tune to walk up or down the aisle to. We think it would be perfect for leaving the ceremony as a married couple. Such a fun, feelgood song!
