Newlyweds Kelly and Patrick Howard never dreamed that former US President Bill Clinton would be a wedding crasher at their wedding last weekend when they thought about having their big day at The Castlemartyr Resort.
But Mr Clinton was a guest speaker at an Irish-American philanthropy group last Friday and was staying at the resort for the duration of his trip! He attended a Gala dinner and hit a round of golf at the Old Head of Kinsale, and on Saturday as the couple were taking their photos Mr. Clinton waited in the wings before introducing himself to the just married couple. He spoke breifly to the couple and offered to pose for some truly unforgettable photos.
“That is one photo that is definitely going into the album — it is a memory that will last us forever,” Mr Howard said.
