This has been a slight disaster for me! I always had an a idea in my head but when I got engaged there was no dresses that met that idea. I looked online and stumbled across a stunning dress by Vera Wang. It was not available in Europe, only in the US. Luckily enough, I had a trip planned to Vegas with my friends so I took the plunge and bought it. That was a month after getting engaged!
At 7 months before my big day I started to get doubts about the my dress when I happened to pass a shop and saw the dress I had in my head, went in, tried it on and ended up buying it.
The original Vera Wang Dress is beautiful but when you have an idea in your head it’s hard to ignore. I am currently trying to sell it and have had a few people interested but there is no way I’ll make the money back on it.
My advice to those who have not bought their dress yet is to make sure you explore every option of what’s in your head before you commit to buy. You’ll know when the dress is right as you don’t even need to look in the mirror, you’ll just know 🙂
