In honour of June being National Pride Month, The Wedding Flock along with 10 of Dublin’s favourite Wedding Suppliers created something spectacular. For straight couples, some Weddings can run with the same theme, but for LGBT couples, the theme has no end.
In addition to showing their love for one another, this Styled Shoot gave way to meaningful details in various ways, offering ideas to other couples regardless of their sexual orientation.
The décor and details represent Wrights Anglers Rest perfectly. The intimate venue caters for Civil Ceremonies in the Collins Room, where you’ll find rustic and homely vibes, such as its open fire. And if that doesn’t tug on your heartstrings then the warming smells from the earthy outdoor Woodburner will have you floating on cloud nine.
Susan, also known as, Make Up by Susan Wallace, worked her artistic flair on both Brides. Highlighting their best features, using muted tones to complement each Bride, her charming personality put us all at ease. Alongside makeup, Dovile Ambrazaityte an International award-winning Hairstylist made festival vibes a real thing. One bride wore a festival wave to the shoulder while the other wore a loose luscious curl, both with fresh flower accessories from our eco floral designer, Earthy Elegance.
Earthy Elegance, also worked her magic on table decor, bringing all colours of the LGBT flag alive with a centrepiece to die for and not forgetting both Bridal bouquets, so different in style, both oozing with colour and style.
Three Little Birds Illustrations made us all say ooooh!, their luxurious textured stationery and framed memorable Wedding Day prints were very impressive. Wedding invites, RSVP cards, Menus, the whole collection had us all itching for a touch.
All aboard! Vintage Tea Tours Bus, carried all suppliers as guests to Phoenix Park, just minutes away from the Venue, Anglers Rest. Hear me when I say it was delicious, tea, sweets and treats! Ciara and the crew were so obliging, stopping to take capture some Deer for an epic Wedding shot captured by our talented Photographer on the day, Ciara Murphy Photography. While we enjoyed the spin, Classic and Executive Car Hire followed behind with both Brides. Red leather interior, gleaming and pristine, this Rolls Royce was a true gem, just like its owner.
Connie, from Hitched by Connie, shone brightly as she Married Bride and Bride in a special handfasting ceremony. Connie complemented the ceremony using colourful ribbons, wonderful spoken words and a memorable gift of wine, a keepsake for a special anniversary in years to come.
Not forgetting these amazing specialist in bridal wear, The White Room, Mullingar selected two of their very best gowns to showcase on the day. Sharon and Gabriela, our models, wore these beautifully crafted gowns. Lace, tulle, beading, texture, comfort and style, ticked all the boxes. The White Room was so obliging and helpful, expect a truly memorable experience.
