First comes a celebrity wedding, then comes baby rumours. They have not even been married 2 weeks and rumours of pregnancy have already come to surface about Blake Lively! The stunning actress and Ryan Reynolds are not expecting their first baby according to representatives.
The couple are said to have exchanged vows in front of a small number of guests at Boone Hall Plantation (where ‘The Notebook’ was filmed) in South Carolina on the 9th of September. Although the pair apparently tied the knot officially on September 14th. It was a shock to most that such high celebs managed to pull off the occasion while keeping it well under wraps, but they certainly succeeded in doing so! Pregnancy rumours began after the couple wed with people commenting that Blake had been ‘glowing’ and eating more on set since the wedding. Wouldn’t we all be glowing after our wedding day?! And I certainly would be enjoying whatever treats I wanted after preparations to fit into my wedding dress!
The couple who have been dating since they met on the scene of ‘Green Lantern’ in 2011 have yet to speak publicly about the wedding. Insiders have revealed that Blake wore a Marchesa couture bridal gown with a silk tulle bodice adorned with crystal and embroidery. Known for her amazing style, Blake’s dress is one we are dying to catch a peek of! The bride’s wedding ring appears to be a light pink oval shaped diamond surrounded by smaller stones. While certain media sources have estimated the value of the ring to be a huge $2 Million and 12 carats, this has been debated by others.
This was Blake’s first trip down the aisle, while Ryan had been married previously to Scarlett Johansson in 2008. The pair separated in 2010 and finalised their divorce in July 2011. Blake and Ryan’s wedding will be featured in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings. I like the way this Hollywood couple are choosing the low key and classy approach to their wedding rather than splashing it across the covers of celebrity magazines…
