Celebrity Wedding Dresses : Love Them or Hate Them?

So there I was thinking about Mille Makintosh’s recent engagement to rapper Professor Greene and imaging what fabulous style dress she would wear. She is quite a fashion icon in the UK at the moment.. But would that mean she’s wear an amazing dress? I must say there are some celebrities that have surprised me with their wedding dress choices in the past! Just because they have thousands upon thousands of pounds to spend, doesn’t mean they always get it right, or so it have proven.

So I thought I would take a look at some of the celebrity wedding dresses below and see what we think, do we love them or hate them!?

Hilary Duff

I must say I think Hilary Duff’s mermaid style wedding dress looks amazing (I have a weakness for mermaid gowns incase you already didn’t know…) The fit and ruffled end make her look like a princess and I love the way she wore her hair in a simple style to allow the dress take centre stage!

Gwen Stefani

This is just a no for me! I’m all about coloured wedding dresses but this ombre attempt just doesn’t look right. The lace wedding veil is just too much with the look also. Gwen could have looked stunning if the gown was all the one colour if you ask me.

Katie Homes

I really like the off the should and lace detail on Katie’s dress. The simple yet long veil doesn’t take away from the dress which is something you need to be careful of. It’s a pity this idyllic looking couple parted ways as she really was a stunning bride!

Mariah Carey

It may have been back at her first wedding in 1994 but there is no excuse for this dress. What is going on with the enormous wedding bouquet? It is half the size of her and covering most of the dress. Maybe that was the intention…
