Another Sunday, another celebrity wedding to report. Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell has officially married his partner, True Blood actress, Evan Rachel Wood in California on Tuesday.
The 25 year old bride who has starred in movies such as the The Wrestler and Thirteen, wore a custom Carolina Herrera wedding dress. She tweeted to her followers after the wedding day, “Words cannot describe the happiness I am feeling. Overwhelming”. A rep for Jamie told People Magazine “It was a small ceremony with close family and friends”.
The couple have been seeing each other on-and-off since they met on the set of Green day’s music video they both starred in, ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends’ in 2005. The couple spilt a year after in 2006, even after getting each others initials tattooed on one another! Wood then began seeing controversial rocker Marilyn Manson, the two were engaged in 2010!
Bell and Wood reconnected and started dating again when the beauty spilt from Manson. Although the newly married couple did not openly speak about their engagement it is speculated they began planning to tie the knot at the beginning of this year.
Before the wedding was made ‘official’ by their rep, wedding bells had already speculated when the couple were seen arriving at LAX airport wearing wedding rings. It seems secret celebrity weddings are all the craze at the moment!
