Spring is in the air! And with spring comes so many great things. The days are a little bit brighter, the trees look a little fuller and love just seems to be blossoming everywhere. There is something very refreshing about spring that can’t be found in other seasonal changes. Spring definitely always feels like a time of fresh beginnings to us and it always feels like the change just happens over night (it may have something to do with the time change too!).
Today, we have had the lovely pleasure of inviting the ever talented Lovebird Designs back to our page with their stunning new spring wedding inspiration captured by Linda Stecenko. Kristine mentions that they love working with her because of her “fantastic eye for detail and how she always manages to capture the beauty of the day”.
Inspiration for this glowing photo shoot came from the vibrancy and happiness of spring. The colour palette is inspired by the “stunning beauty of magnolias and pink cherry blossoms” says Kristine. She also mentions that “magnolias make for such amazing backdrop for wedding photos”.
They also used cherry blossoms to make the bridal headpiece which really captures that beautiful blossoming element of spring.
Spring is Kristine’s favourite season and it really shows through in this shoot mentioning that she loves the miracle of nature coming alive after the dark. “Every year, right after Christmas, I always start celebrating spring by growing hyacinths and tulips on my windowsill – these are also the flowers I used in the bridal bouquet.”
For spring trends, Lovebirds are envisioning a lot of vintage and quirky elements as well as very personalised touches. Big and interesting centrepieces are popular this year as well as pink, mint and gold palettes
