Yay, it’s Halloween, my favourite time of year. The crunchy leaves, crisp air and of course dressing up… Halloween can be such a fun and magical time. While we love Halloween here in the office, at first thought, a spooky style Halloween wedding seems a little silly.
But, add a rustic flair to an October wedding and boom! Gorgeous rustic Halloween wedding here we come. Rustic weddings have been at the forefront of wedding trends this year so far, and they’re not going anywhere soon.
One gorgeous idea we’ve seen so far is the DIY painted pumpkin. Gone are the days of painstaking and carving out pumpkins to perfection, now it’s all about paint, glitter and pretty patterns! With a little spray paint and glitter, you could have stunning little centerpieces for your table décor.
Owls seem to be everywhere still and are of course, perfectly in line with a Halloween theme. Mix and match various owl home décor pieces (from Penneys to Brown Thomas; they’re everywhere) or get your DIY on by painting some cute owls on rounded pebbles.
Another very easy way to achieve rustic is with some stunning lanterns. Add a little mood and campfire light fun to your night with this fun and easy DIY idea. All you need is a glue gun (or some super strength glue) a clear votive and some small and clean twigs.
