If the rumours are anything to go by, Kelly Osbourne may be on her way to becoming a married woman. Rumours came to the surface this week that the Fashion Police co-host is now engaged to her boyfriend Matthew Mosshart.
The couple have been dating just over a year after meeting at Kate Moss’s wedding, there must have been love in the air! They chose to keep their relationship out of the spotlight until 5 months after they began seeing one another. Kelly recently told Fabulous magazine “I couldn’t believe that he truly liked me because I never think people ever could, “but I’m so happy. I don’t think I’ve ever really known what love is like before”. Do these sound like the words of a newly engaged bride to-be?
The story was first reported by American magazine US Weekly when sources close to the couple confirmed that the couple got engaged just before Christmas. “Kelly is the happiest she’s ever been, her career is going well, and she’s in a healthy relationship with a wonderful guy.” one friend of the Osbourne gal shared. We wonder if mother and father Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne speak as highly of their potential son in-law? This is not their daughters first engagement. Kelly was first engaged to model Luke Worrall in 2009, but the couple spilt when it emerged that he had been cheated on her with another model, Elle Schneider.
Kelly has neither confirmed nor denied the engagement speculations, although she did send a simple tweet reading ‘#DontBelieveEverythingYouRead’ on Wednesday afternoon. You aren’t giving much away Miss Osbourne! Whether Kelly sent this to attempt to put the rumours to rest as they are untrue, or just to try convince us that is the case in order to protect her ‘secret’ engagement we shall have to wait and see! I for one hope she is in fact a bride to-be. After becoming a style icon in the last year or so, I’ll be curious to see what style wedding dress she decides to wear!
