Kinsale - The Wedding Capital of Ireland

This is possibly the biggest wedding event we’ve heard of!

Five of Kinsale’s most prestigious venues are throwing open their doors on Sunday July 17th to launch Kinsale – The Wedding Capital of Ireland.

So, if you’re engaged and dreaming of a pretty seaside celebration, it’s the perfect opportunity to check out what the charming town has to offer. And, there’s something for every budget and style!

Venues

These venues have joined forces with the Kinsale Chamber of Tourism to showcase Ireland’s most fashionable town – and we think it would make a lovely day out for any excited newly-engaged couples. Why not plan a road trip, view each venue, stop off for lunch to admire the town and go for a romantic stroll along the promenade?

Renowned for its stunning harbour, famous forts, architectural gems and maze of narrow streets reflecting its historic backstory, Kinsale is something truly special for a wedding.

As well as its photogenic backdrop, there are 65 bars and numerous gourmet restaurants, beautiful beaches, art galleries, coffee shops galore, and amenities including the spectacular Old Head Golf Course with beautiful walks, sailing, surfing and fishing.

The area is blessed with a host of fabulous wedding suppliers from milliners, bridal boutiques, cake makers, stationery designers, vintage jewellery stores to award-winning photographers aplenty.

Are you convinced yet that this would make an EPIC day out to plan your wedding? Don’t forget to tag #KinsaleWeddingCapital to let us know if you set a date!
