Monika has 12 years of experience in Wedding Photography. Her career began in England after a film photography course in Hampshire led to work in London’s Fashion Industry. With time, Monika developed her own unobtrusive style which depends on standing back and telling stories with reportage-style pictures. She began working as a wedding photographer and honed this style in many venues, from small intimate weddings to large formal occasions.
In 2014, she moved to Vancouver Canada where she worked in a large-scale wedding photo/video company. In 2015, she moved to Ireland and after the birth of her daughter she began photographing weddings in Connacht. Just before Christmas, in what will hopefully be the last move for a while, Monika moved to Cobh, County Cork.
Monika is just setting out to establish herself in Munster but will, no doubt, be very busy soon. She does a great deal of preparation for each wedding; visiting all the venues beforehand and paying great attention to each couple’s individual story. This detail pays off with creative work and a day that runs smoothly. Monika always adjusts her way of working to a couples’ needs and tries to stay out of way on the Big Day.
