a wedding mood board: bring your favourite chair

it’s summer and i completely love that i am eating most of my dinners outside with calvin. we watch families coming home, teenagers making their way out for the evening, little boys feeding ducks,a little girl rollerblading next to dad as he walks the dog. the smell of bbq is in the air and the sun sinks low for almost forever before it finally dissappears.

this sitting, watching the world go by has me thinking about chairs: which ones i like, which ones i want to lounge in and which ones have me looking for a new place to perch.

i quite fancy the idea of a re-wedding to calvin centred around chairs.

just imagine all your gorgeous guests streaming into the venue with their favourite chairs? what a sight!

something creative like this breaks the ice for people because all of a sudden there is something to talk about: a story to share, a memory to reminisce over, a funny story to be heard.

and just think of all the crazy beautiful photos you can take throughout your day! i would like ria mishaal to be our photographer for the day. her work is tangible with emotion and because this day is going to be all about the stories, i want a storyteller behind the lens, taking it all in.

my dress will be short, lace from top to bottom and full of details. my dress will be a story on its own with it’s bateau neckline. my order is already in with k&s bridal.

so there, this week is a no fuss week. it all hinges on chairs: ones i love and want at my re-wedding. come join the fun. bring your favourite seat and tell me your story!
