Sweethearts Eimear and Niall got hitched in Co.Tyrone and celebrated at the magical Kilronan Castle.
These lovebirds hail from the same town and always knew each other but Niall worked with Eimear’s brother and cheekily asked for her number about nine years ago. And the rest is history!
Simple Tapestry Photography captured every moment of this special day from start to finish.
A sincere and deep love like Eimear and Niall’s does not need any grand gestures or flamboyancy. Eimear knew they would eventually get engaged, they even picked out a ring! A few months later they went for dinner in the Redcastle Hotel and Niall popped the big question at a romantic little beach afterwards.
Eimear gushed “My brother had got married in Kilronan Castle two years previously and from then on I knew I always wanted to get married there. The staff are wonderful, as are the rooms and food. We wanted somewhere different that would really wow our guests.”
“It was a little out of the way for some of our guests so we really hoped they loved it, and thought the journey was worth it. So many people said it was absolutely magical and that is totally true. The setting is just beautiful!”
“I had asked a few friends for a wedding photographer recommendation and Brideen’s name from Simple Tapestry was mentioned so I looked at her website and loved the style of photography. A few emails later and I was lucky enough to book her.”
“We were engaged for about 17 months. I loved the planning. There were times I was stressed out especially with the guest list and seating plan but mostly I found it so exciting. The week before the wedding I had taken off work and I really loved that week as I had time to really enjoy the build up and everything.”
The couple enjoyed decadent Chocolate Mini Éclairs with Vanilla Pastry Cream & Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake Served with Ice Cream.
The blushing bride kept their wedding theme simple. Her stunning floral arrangements and crown took centre-stage.
“I got my Pronovias wedding dress in McElhinney’s in Ballybofey. I had a clear picture of what I wanted in my head but it just didn’t suit me at all! My mum picked this dress and I didn’t like it, but as soon as it was on I think we all knew it was ‘the one’. I am so glad I wore this dress!”
“If I had to give advice to other couples, I would tell them to enjoy the planning of your wedding, don’t get too stressed, it’s just not worth it. Everything will work out on the day. And remember it’s all your day and no one elses!”
“The real highlight of the day was getting into the Chapel and seeing Niall as my nerves just disappeared. We both loved getting to the venue, because from then on everything was so relaxing and enjoyable.”
Thanks so much to Eimear and Niall for sharing their special day with us and to Simple Tapestry Photography for kindly letting us use their stunning images.
