Situated in the Iveragh Peninsula lies the enchanting town of Sneem. An tSnaidhm meaning ‘The Knot’ in English, seems to be a perfect name for the town. Sneem comprises two squares, North and South. A bridge in the middle of the village, view from overhead, acts as a knot between the two squares.
Sneem Hotel, filled with unique and quaint pubs, shops and restaurants is very easy to fall in love with. To us, we love nothing more than a sleepy small town with plenty of personality and history to it when searching for a romantic spot. Sneem certainly has plenty to offer in terms of history! The little town has a long lineage and reputation for hospitality.
