Congratulations… You’re about to tie the knot! After you’ve celebrated over the fact that you’re engaged to be married, it’s time to get busy and start planning! Once you’ve decided your budget and know what you can spend, it’s time to start looking for your wedding venue. Finding your perfect wedding venue may seem like a challenge but if you have a clear mind of what you both want, it can be surprisingly easy.
Before deciding on what your wedding style and theme is going to be, there are two big factors that will influence your day.
The first step is finding out how many guests you think you might have. Are you having an intimate event with just less than 50 people? Private hire venues or a restaurant could be perfect for you. If your wedding will have 150 or more guests; hotels, marquees country castles are more ideal.
The second question is about your involvement. If you love planning down to every little detail, a marquee or private rental could work for you. However, if you want minimize the stress, a hotel with a dedicated Wedding Coordinator and staff might be perfect for you.
After this, you can decide on what your wedding style is. Would you love to be married in the country? Or do you want the buzz of a city? Will your day be classic and timeless or does rugged and rustic sound like music to your ears?
Once you’ve created that shortlist in your mind (or on paper), you’ll have a pretty clear picture of what you’re after. Doing your research online will save time in narrowing down your search .
