Today I have a treat for all our brides! Are you free this coming Sunday? If so there is only one place you will want to be! What can be better than a Christmas Fair, why a Vintage Christmas Fair of course!
Le Chat Noir Christmas Vintage Fair takes place once again this year in Cork City. This fashionable event will be filled with all things vintage including fashion, furniture and accessories. There will be stalls from the finest vintage fashion stores in Cork including Miss Daisy Blue, Turquoise Flamingo, and of course Bella Bleu Vintage Bridal. You may even discover your dream vintage wedding dress!
The event takes place from 12pm in the old school hall behind The Flying Enterprise on Barack Street and entry is just €3. There will be a retro DJ spinning on the decks throughout the day and Irene O’Brien, vintage blogger and stylist shall be MC-ing during the fashion parades taking place between 2-4pm. If you love flowers as much as we do, Wild Flower Couture will have a selection of Christmas wreaths and flower arrangements on offer. One not to miss, they create the most beautiful wedding flowers!
Cork’s only vintage hair and beauty stylist Rosa Through The Looking Glass will be in attendance with her own dedicated beauty parlour! Why not come along and get your hair, make-up and nails done to achieve that vintage look. Rosa is also available for weddings and events so this is the ideal opportunity to have a makeover and get a taste for her style!
This really is an event not to be missed. I was there last year helping out the organisers Leona and Jill behind the scenes and will be doing the same this time around. I couldn’t think of a better place to spend my Sunday afternoon & I hope to see many of our brides enjoying it too!
